PROCEDURE STEPS:
1. Disconnect and Isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Using Trim Stick C-4755, or equivalent, release the retaining
clips that secure the header trim molding (1) in the liftgate
opening and remove.
3. Remove the push pins from the headliner at the rear of the
vehicle.
4. Using Trim Stick C-4755, or equivalent, disengage the
retaining tabs that secure the liftgate scuff plate to the liftgate
door sill and remove the scuff plate (1).
NOTE: Load oor shown, jack tray similar.

5. Equipped with Load Floor - Remove the two nuts (1) that
secure the load floor to the floor panel.
6. Remove the load floor.
7. Equipped with Third Row Seats - Remove the four nuts
holding in the jack storage compartment.
8. Remove the jack storage compartment.
NOTE: Drivers side shown, passenger side similar.
9. Remove the passengers side rear door scuff plate.
10. Remove the passengers front door scuff plate.

11. Remove the passenger side cowl trim panel (1).
NOTE: Passenger side shown, driver side similar.
12. Position the third row seat down.
13. Remove the screw cover for the third row seat release and
remove the lever (2), both sides.
14. Using a trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, disengagethe
retaining tabs that secure the D-pillar trim panel to the
retaining clips in the D-pillar and remove the trim panel, both
sides.
15. Remove the trim plug (1) from the upper c-pillar trim, both
sides.

16. Using a magnetic screwdriver or equivalent, remove the upper
screw and pull the upper part of the trim panel (1) away from
the pillar and release the bottom tabs (2).
17. Position aside the c-pillar trim, both sides.
18. Pull the grab handle downward, remove the two screws that
secure the grab handle to the roof panel, and remove the grab
handles from the headliner.
19. If equipped, disconnect the reading lamp wire connector from
the grab handles, both sides.
20. Partially separate the door seals from the door opening, both
sides.
21. Remove the screws and the cargo net d-ring that secure the
quarter trim panel to the quarter panel.
22. Using a trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, disengage the
retaining tabs that secure the quarter trim panel to the quarter
panel.
23. Pull the quarter trim panel away from the quarter panel (3).
24. If equipped, disconnect the rear heater control connectors (1).
25. Remove the quarter trim panel.
26. Separate the glove box damper rod (1) from the clove box by
sliding the rod towards the rear of the vehicle to release it from
the bin.
27. Open the glove box and carefully use fingers to press down
glove box open stops at the top of the bin, downward to allow
the glove box to rotate toward the carpet.
28. Rotate the box down and release the door hinges (2) at the
bottom and remove the glove box.

29. Using a trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, remove the shifter
bezel.
30. Remove the radio bezel screw.
31. Remove the radio mounting fasteners.
WARNING: Disable the airbag system before attempting
any steering wheel, steering column, or instrument panel
component diagnosis or service. Disconnect and isolate the
negative battery (ground) cable, then wait two minutes for
the airbag system capacitor to discharge before performing
further diagnosis or service. This is the only sure way
to disable the airbag system. Failure to take the proper
precautions could result in an accidental airbag deployment
and possible serious or fatal injury.
CAUTION: Pulling the antenna cable straight out of the radio
without pulling on the locking antenna connector could
damage the cable or radio.
32. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove radio.
33. Starting at the radio, route the harness from the rear of the
radio along the bottom of the glove box and secure to the
support brace (1).
34. Route the antenna down to the cowl trim area and secure to
the body harness.

35. Route along the front passenger scuff plate and under the b-
pillar trim.
36. Route antenna harness along the rear passenger scuff plate
and up the c-pillar.
37. Route the antenna cable behind the rear HVAC housingand
secure to the body harness and up the d-pillar.

38. Starting from the door side use a trim stick C-4755 or
equivalent, disengage the retaining tabs that secure the trim
ring (1) to the rear sunroof support bracket (2).
39. Remove the four mounting fasteners for the video monitor, if
equipped.
40. Disconnect electrical connectors (1) and remove monitor.
41. Remove the rear and center rear push pins from the rear of
the headliner (3).
CAUTION: Be careful not to crease the headliner.

42. Cut out the template.
43. Center the template on the rear of the roof, aligning the
template with the roof edge.
44. Center punch the two holes marked on the template.
45. Remove the template.
CAUTION: Do not drill more than a 6 mm (1/4 in.), failure to do
so will result in damage to the vehicles headliner.
46. Drill a 3 mm (1/8 in.) pilot hole at each of the center punched
locations.
47. Drill the rear hole to 5 mm (13/64 in.).
48. Drill the front hole to 19 mm (3/4 in.).
49. Debur both of the holes.
50. Apply Mopar® Corrosion Inhibitor, p/n 82300508, to the bare
metal surface of the drilled holes.
51. Clean and prep the area for the antenna.
52. Install the satellite antenna. Tighten to 9 N·m (80 in. lbs.).

53. Connect the antenna harness to the antenna.
54. Install the rear head liner push pins and the rear centerpush
pins.
55. Install the video monitor, if equipped.

56. Starting on the inside, slide the moon roof trim in to the slot
and push up to engage clips.
57. Position the quarter trim panel in the vehicle.
58. If equipped, connect the wire harness connector to the power
outlet.
59. Position the flange on the quarter trim panel into the seal ditch
and secure the bottom clip first and then the middle clip.
60. Align the two fastener holes in the quarter trim panel with
the two fastener holes in the quarter panel and engage the
retaining tabs that secure the quarter trim panel to the quarter
panel.
61. Install the two screws and the d-ring that secure the quarter
trim panel to the quarter panel.
62. Position the load floor in the vehicle.
63. Install the two nuts that secure the load floor to the floor panel.

64. Position the liftgate scuff plate to the liftgate door sill and
engage the retaining tabs that secure the scuff plate to the
door sill.
65. Position the locating tabs on the bottom of the D-pillar trim
panel into the slots in the top of the quarter trim panel, both
sides.
66. Align the retaining tabs on the D-pillar trim panel with the
retaining clips in the D-pillar and engage the retaining tabs
that secure the trim panel to the D-pillar, both sides.
67. Align the retaining tabs on the upper liftgate trim panel with the
retaining clips in the liftgate opening and engage the retaining
tabs that secure the trim panel to the liftgate opening.
68. If equipped, connect the reading lamp wire connector from the
grab handles.
69. Install the grab handle to the roof panel.

70. Positionthelocatingtabs(2)onthe bottom of theupperC-pillar
trim panelinto the slots in the topof the quartertrim panel, both
sides.
71. Rotate the top part of the trim panel into position and install
the screw, both sides.
72. Install a new trim plug (1) into the trim panel, both sides.
73. Align the fastener hole in the cowl trim panel with the stud on
the mounting bracket and then seat the trim panel onto the
mounting bracket.
74. Install the nut that secures the cowltrim panel to the mounting
bracket.
75. Install the hush panel.

76. Align the retaining tabs on the door sill scuff plate with the retaining clips in the door sill and engage the retaining
tabs that secure the scuff plate to the door sill.
77. Snap the lower glove box hinges (2) over the pivots (1) and
rotate up.
78. Push the stop tabs down and close the glove box.
79. Connect the damper rod (1) to the outer side of the box
compartment.

NOTE: The antenna ports are keyed and color coded for there
speci c antenna connection.
NOTE: All SDARS antenna connections are Yellow.
80. Connect the antenna cable into the open antenna port on the
radio.
81. Connect the electrical connectors and install radio.
82. Install the radio mounting fasteners.
83. Install the radio bezel and screw.
84. Install the shifter bezel.
SDARS VEHICLE CONFIGURATION
Vehicle VIN must be updated with the sales code of the added accessory in order to enable system functionality.Using
the DealerCONNECT website and a scantool, complete the procedure below.
• Log on to Http://dealerconnect.chrysler.com.
• In the "Vehicle Options" screen under the "Global Claims System" category in the "Service tab, enter the vehicle VIN
and add the sales code RSC (SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO) as a "Dealer Installed option".
• Confirm the new sales code has been successfully added to the VIN.
With the ScanTool connected to both the internet (via Ethernet port or wireless connection) and the vehicle, follow the
steps below:
• In the "Initial Start Up" screen select VEHICLE PREPARATION
• Toggle down and highlight RESTORE VEHICLE CONFIGURATION
•PressSTART
•PressNEXT
• If necessary, select proper vehicle line and model year and press NEXT
• Confirm correct selection and press NEXT
• Enter vehicle VIN using the on screen keyboard or confirm that the Auto Filled VIN plate is correct and press NEXT
•PressOK
• Enter the user ID, password and dealer code using the one screen keyboard and press OK
NOTE: At this point the ScanTool is downloading the vehicle con guration from the network.
• Confirm that the new vehicle configuration has been successfully programmed, follow the on screen instructions and
press FINISH
VALIDATION PROCESS
from the "Initial Start up" screen on the ScanTool follow the steps below:

• Using a ScanTool follow the menu to ECU VIEW,selecteitherTPIMCGW CENTRAL GATEWAY or FCMCGW
CENTRAL GATEWAY depending on the vehicle.
•SelectMORE OPTIONS, ECU DETAILS, and then CONFIG INFO.
•VerifySDARV - - - - SET is present.
• Drive the vehicle outside for a clear satellite signal to the antenna and verify system operation.

PROCEDURE STEPS:
1. Disconnect and Isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the two screws (3).
3. Using a trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, separate the four
retaining clips (1) and remove the bezel (2).
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the bezel.
5. Remove the radio mounting fasteners.
CAUTION: Pulling the antenna cable straight out of the radio without pulling on the locking antenna connector
could damage the cable or radio.

6. Disconnect the electrical connectors and antennas and
remove the radio.
7. Open the glove box and squeeze the stop tabs inward.
8. Lower the glove box and release the hinges (1) using a twisting
motion and remove the glove box.

9. Remove the two plastic push-pin retainers (2) that secure the
outer front seat belt retractor cover (1) to the outer front seat
belt retractor (3).
10. Raise the retractor cover upward to disengage the two locator
pins on the inside top of the inboard retractor cover from the
locator holes in the top of the retractor.
11. Spread the bottom of the inboard (1) and outboard (3) retractor
cover halves apart and disengage the snaps located at the top
of the cover halves and remove the cover halves.
12. To access the rear door sill scuff plate for removal, use a
trim stick C-4755 or equivalent to disengage enough of the
retaining tabs (2) that secure the door sill scuff plate end of
the cowl trim panel to the retaining clips in the front door sill.
