IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
READ ALL INS RUC IONS BEFORE USING HE APPLIANCE.
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed, including the
following:
1. Read all instructions carefully before operating this appliance.
2. Always unplug from outlet when the appliance is not in use, before assembling or disassembling
parts and before cleaning. Allow to cool before cleaning or handling.
3. Do not touch hot surfaces, use handles or knobs.
4. To protect against the risk of electrical shock, do not immerse any part of the toaster in water or any
other liquids. See instructions for cleaning.
5. This appliance should not be used by or near children, or individuals with certain disabilities.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged power cord or power plug, or after the appliance has
malfunctioned or has been dropped or damaged in any way, or if it is not operating properly. Return
appliance to your nearest authorized service centre for examination, repair, or electrical or
mechanical adjustment.
7. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may cause injury and/or
void the manufacturer’s warranty
8. This appliance is for domestic and indoor use only. Do not use outdoors.
9. Do not allow power cord to hang over the edge of the table or countertop or touch hot surfaces.
10. Do not place toaster on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
11. Do not use this toaster for other than intended use.
12. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
– Staff kitchen, areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
– Farm houses;
– In bed & breakfast establishments, hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
13. WARNING: Do not insert oversized foods, metal foil packages or utensils into the toaster, as they
may involve a risk of fire or electric shock.
14. WARNING: Bread and burn. Therefore, do not operate the toaster near flammable materials such
as curtains or draperies and the like to avoid a fire hazard.
15. Do not attempt to remove food from the toaster when it is plugged into the power supply.
16. To avoid possibility of fire, do not leave toaster unattended during use.
17. WARNING: Surfaces are liable to become hot during use. The Hot surface warning symbol is
marked on the appliance means that the appliance may be hot during operation.
18. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved.
19. Do not operate your appliance in a garage or under a wall cabinet. When storing the appliance,
always unplug the unit from the power supply. Not doing so could pose a risk of electric shock or
fire.

1. Insert bread slice into the bread slot which can be inserted two slices at most every time. Only the
regular slice can be placed into the bread slot.
NOTE: Ensure the removable crumb tray is correctly positioned before using.
2. Insert power plug into the power supply.
3. Select desired browning with the Browning Control Selector with its 7 levels of shade.
NO E:
• To toast a single slice of bread, set the heat selector to a lighter setting than you normally would. The
toaster is designed to heat the whole toasting chamber for two slices.
• By lowering the heat for a single slice, you won't over toast.
4. ress carriage handle down vertically until it is positioned in place. The CANCEL indicator will
illuminate, and toasting will begin.
5. Once the bread has been toasted to the desired shade, the carriage handle will be automatically
spring up, indicating bread toasting has completed and can be removed.
NOTE: The carriage handle can only be latched when appliance is connected to the power supply.
6. Toasting shade can be observed during the toasting process and can be interrupted by pressing the
Cancel button at any time.
7. For refrigerated bread – set Browning Control Selector to desired shade. ress carriage handle down
vertically until it is positioned in place, then press DEFROST button. The DEFROST indicator will
illuminate.
8. To reheat cold toasted bread - press carriage handle down vertically until it is positioned in place, then
press REHEAT button. The REHEAT indicator will illuminate using a pre-set duration.
CAUTION
• Remove all protective wrappings prior to operation and toasting.
• If toaster emits smoke during operation, press CANCEL to stop toasting immediately.
• Avoid toasting food with extremely runny ingredients such as butter.
• Never attempt to remove bread stuck in the slots without first unplugging the toaster from the power
supply. Ensure not to damage the internal mechanism or heating elements when removing
stuck bread.
• The bread slot is only applicable for toasting regular bread slices.
• To achieve uniform shades, it is recommended to wait minimum 30 seconds between each toasting
interval so shade control can reset automatically.
DUSTPROOF COVER
When not use, place the dustproof cover on top of the toaster to prevent dust or insects/objects from
entering into the bread slots.

• Unwind the power cord. Ensure that the removable crumb tray is in place and that there is nothing in
the toaster slot(s).
• Insert power plug into the power supply.
• The toaster will release an odour during first time use, caused by manufacturing residue or oil
remnants in the toaster or heat element. It is normal and will gradually disappear after consecutive
use.
• For first time operation, it is recommended to operate the appliance according to the steps below,
except without bread.
• Allow the toaster cool down and begin toasting the first slice of bread.

CARE & CLEANING
1. Unplug the appliance from the power supply and allow to cool down before carrying out cleaning or
maintenance.
2. Do not use abrasive cleansers to clean the exterior. Use a clean damp cloth to wipe and allow to
dry thoroughly. Apply any cleansing agent to a cloth, not to the toaster, before cleaning.
3. To remove crumbs, slide out the removeable crumb tray and discard crumbs. Wipe clean and
replace. Never operate the toaster without the removable crumb tray in place.
4. To remove any bread remnants in the toaster, turn the toaster upside down and gently shake. Never
insert any hard or sharp instruments into the slot, as this could damage the toaster and cause a
safety hazard.
5. Never wrap the power cord around the toaster’s exterior.
6. Any other repairs/servicing should only be performed by an authorized service representative.
