6. SensorCalibration
Sensorcalibrationcanbeappliedtoanewsensororanexistingonewithshiftedmeasurement.Underthis
conditionO2sensorshouldbecalibratedviaOPT100paneltoreadoutcorrectO2level.
Sensoroutputdecreasesto70%whenitslifetimeexpires.Youcaneasilyrecognizethisconditionwithvery
lowandunlogicalO2valuearound5%to10%.Calibrationdoesntcorrectthiscaseandsensorshouldbe
exchangedforcorrectmeasurement.
NormallyO2sensormeasure20,9%O2inregularambientcondition.Ifyoureaddifferentvaluefollowbelow
mentionedsteps;
1. ConnectcalibrationfittingintoN2bottle(99,9%N2)withpneumatichose.
2. ConnectcalibrationfittingintotheO2sensorviainstallingintothesensorinlet.
3. OpentheN2bottlevalveandsupplygastothesensor.
4. CheckO2valuedropfromOPT100display.O2valuedropwilltakeapproximately
30seconds.O2shouldreachto0,0.Ifthevalueisbiggerthan0,
Zerocalibrationshouldbecarriedout.
5. Afterreaching0valueclosetheN2bottlevalveandremovethecalibrationfitting.
6. O2valuewillriseslowlyandreachto20,9approximatelyin1minute.Ifthevalueis
differentthan20,9SPANcalibrationshouldbecarriedoutwithSPANparameter.

8. OxygenSensorExchange/Repair
SENSOREXCHANGE:
Sensorispackedwithitscovertokeepitselectrolyteinpassivemode.Openthesensorcoverjust
before24hoursofinstallationandkeepitatambientconditionthatwilloperate.Passiveelectrolyte
willgetactivewiththiswayandstarttomeasurecorrectlyafterinstallationintotheOPT100panel.Do
notforgettonotesensorinstallationdateontothepanel.PleasecheckSENSORCALIBRATIONpart
fornewsensorcalibration.

Do not open the sensor for any repair attempt. There isnt any repairable part inside the
sensoranditwillbedamagedpermanently.InnerElectrolytecanalsocreatesevereirritation
onskin.

Sensorinletcanbeblocked.
Sensorlifetimecanbeexpired.Pleasecheckinstallationdateofthesensor.
O2Levelstayconstantandfreezed.
Blowairintothesensorinletslowlyfor5to10secondsandobservevaluealteration.
Checkterminalboardconnectionsofthesensor.
Removeoneoftheterminalboardconnectionofthesensorandcheckpanelscreenforalteration.
Ifscreenvalueisexchangedthansensorisdamagedorexpired.Ifvaluestayconstantconsult
supplier.
Panelscreenisntworking.
Please check the cable and its socket in between front panel and mainboard and be sure its
properlyconnected.
Openthepanelcoverandcheckaftterminalboardconnections.
Checkthepowersupply.
IfO2levelandgreenPOWERlightarenton,checkthefusesinsidethepanel.
