with default value in web page, and Web file (*.WEB) is also divided into Server Mode
and Client Mode. Administrator can upload different web file (*.WEB) to use Server

management web of this manual is different from yours, it might be different mode at

1.Safety Instructions
1. Do not attempt to service the product yourself. Any servicing of this product should be referred to
qualified service personal.
2. To avoid electric shock, do not put your finger, pin, wire, or any other metal objects into vents and
gaps.
3. To avoid accidental fire or electric shock, do not twist power cord or place it under heavy objects.
4. The product should be connected to a power supply of the type described in the operating
instructions or as marked on the product.
5. To avoid hazard to children, dispose of the product’s plastic packaging carefully.
6. Please read all the instructions of this manual before using this product, otherwise, it
may damage this machine. To simplify installation procedure, this machine is
pre-configured most of setting. User should read Quick Installation Guide or Installation
Guide of Mobile Office for installation procedure first. Adjust configuration according to
this manual if you have advanced requirement.

2.Features
SIP VoIP Network is a public VoIP phone structure. Different organization builds different SIP
Proxy to provide services. VODNET IP-PBX network is able to provide more powerful and
complete calls service than SIP VoIP Network. VODNET IP-PBX network is construct with a
series of VODTEL VoIP products and its value-added service.
♦ MOSA 4600B SIP Line is able to register to other SIP Proxy and act as a client (SIP device)
of a proxy to provide telephone services, furthermore, it can be configured as a SIP Proxy for
other SIP device to register to.
♦ When MOSA4600B SIP Line acts as a client SIP device, MOSA/ FONEMOSA IP-PBX
products in VODNET can connect many MOSA4600B SIP Line to different SIP environment
and then bridge the telephone services between VODNET and SIP VoIP network.
♦ By using both MOSA 4600B SIP Line Server and MOSA 4600C SIP Trunk Server, the SIP
devices SIP Phone, Softphone) in different environment (means using different SIP proxy)
can make call to each other.
♦ MOSA 4600B SIP Line is able to integrate VODNET and many SIP environments. Phone in
different environments can make calls to each other as extensions.
♦ When MOSA4600B SIP Line is configured as Server Mode, other SIP device can register to
MOSA4600B SIP Line as a client. SIP device that register to SIP Line successfully can make
call to VODNET or other SIP device (SIP Phone, Soft Phone, SIP gateway). The extension of
VODNET can make call to SIP device as other extension.
♦ Use SIP client device that support video function, communication face by face come true and
it make communication more real and interesting.
By the integration of MOSA4600B SIP Line, SIP device (SIP phone, Softphone) is able to use the
service of VODNET IP-PBX as below:
♦ Complete IP-PBX function as MOSA4600 series products
♦ Automatic Call Distribution (ACD, by usingACD Server)
♦ Call Park function (by using Parking Server)
♦ Personal Number function (by using Forward Server)
♦ Bridge to other SIP environment (by using MOSA 4600C SIP Trunk Server with virtual FXO
to connect to other environment)
♦ Invite call meeting (by using PBX Conference Bridge)
♦ Conference call center (by using Conference Bridge)
♦ Multiple IP call broadcast (by using Broadcast Server)
♦ Machine with global IP locating function (by using NETMOSA+)
♦ One Ext. No. with many phones (desk phone-set and SIP extension) ringing (Group Ring

5.Basic Configuration
5.1 Console Configuration
After connect the PC with this server via RS-232 Console cable, power on the PC and configure
the PC parameters as following:
Speed: 9600
Data Bits: 8
Parity Check: None
Stop Bit: 1
Flow Control: None
If Console cable is not available, run Telnet in PC for connection is OK.

6.Configuration of Functions
6.1 General configuration
(1) Connect the Console Terminal to MOSA 4600B SIP Line Console port by
RS-232<-->RJ-45 cable.
(2) Configure the parameter of Console Terminal. Please refer to Section 5.1 Console
Configuration.
(3) Enter a fixed IP address for System Console (or use the default IP address
192.168.0.2),Apply warm-start to restart the system. Please refer to 6.1.1 Configuration
of IP.
(4) Connect PC to the network port labeled “To WAN” by LAN cable. The Indicator of
LNK/ACT will be ON if the connection is working normally.
(5) Set IP address of PC to the same section as IP address of this bridge. For example, the
default IP address of this bridge is 192.168.0.2, and then you may set 192.168.0.3 as the
IP address of PC. (Re-start PC may be required).
(6) Start IE browser and input the IP address of this machine, and then press Enter.
(7) The window for USER ID and PASSWORD will be prompted. Enter “WEB” (all capital
letter) as USER ID and the password. If password is not configured, keep it blank, press
ENTER key. Now you are on the Home page of the Web Management page.
(8) On the Web Management Page, set the Country Code,Area Code, Phone Number,
NETMOSA IP Address, UDP port and other features. Please refer to Section 6.2.1
Configure My Phone Number。
(9) If you like to use DHCP services, you may set the parameters via Web Management
Page or via Console terminal and restart the system. Please be attention, new dynamic
IP address will be applied after restarting. It causes the problem to enter the original Web
Management Page. You have to check the new IP address via Console terminal and
enter the Web Management page with this new IP address.
(10) When all setting is finished, connect the machine to Internet. The system will be in
operation after the indicator of TIME SRVR turns ON.
6.1.1 Configuration of IP
An IPAddress is required for MOSA 4600B SIP Line series product. How to get the IP address
depends on the network environment for which the FONEMOSA4484 will be connected. Please
refer to the following table and the network configuration to define the IP address information you
need before system configuration. If fixed IP address will be used, you have to apply your Internet
Service Provider (ISP) to get an available IP address. It is not recommended for DHCP IP. In the
following table, please find the information required under different network configuration.

6.2 Basic parameter configuration
Please start browser and input the IP address previous set for this machine. Press Enter to show
the window below. Please input the account name as “WEB” (must be in capitals) and the
password, blank or previous set for the web. Press the OK button to enter the home page.

Basic parameter is the setting to run the basic function of this machine. Basic parameter includes:

call via another FONEMOSAby dialing this number.
IP address of Netmosa

6.2.1 Configure My Phone Number
Country Code,Area Code and Phone Number can be configured at Web Folder: Basic\System
Config
Select Region ID of your country and click Modify button to take effect. (Don't Change if your
country is not listed in the options)

Configure the phone number of this machine. Number can be the same as company PSTN
number. If you keep the Phone Number field blank and the machine is connected to Internet, then
system input VODNET number automatically.
Please Warm-Restart the machine when configuration is done.

6.2.2 Registration of NETMOSA and/or NETMOSA Plus
For this series of product, system is joined to NETMOSA group automatically if the Serial number
of NETMOSA or NETMOSA Plus (Also called NETMOSA +) are defined. Joins NETMOSA+ can
make VODNET call easily.
Refer the following figure of “NETMOSAIP Setting”, which is part of page IP Setting. Configuration
is done when product is shipped. You can contact with distributor if data is missed.
Please Warm-Restart the system when the setting is done.

6.2.2.1 View the registered NETMOSAand/or NETMOSA+ ID via web
After successfully setting the Serial Number of NETMOSAand NETMOSA + in this machine, then
go to the page BASIC to check if system is successfully joined in NETMOSA. Input NETMOSA ID
and press Register button if necessary. The phone number will be displayed as the following
figure that is part of page BASIC.
You can also check the LED at front panel to know the registration status of NETMOSA or
NETMOSA+
