WHEN USING ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES, BASIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
SHOULD ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC

1. Check the household voltage before operating to ensure it matches the unit’s
rated specification.
2. NEVER place Mosquito Sentry in an area where it is accessible to children. NEVER
use Mosquito Sentry in a closed room, the unit is designed for outside areas,
covered patios or open air buildings only. Do not inhale repellent directly from
repellent outlet.
3. DO NOT add material from repellent outlet directly, it will damage the unit.
4. Do not allow children to play with any product packaging, such as plastic bags.
5. To avoid fire hazard, NEVER put the cord under rugs or near heat registers,
radiators, stoves or heaters.
6. DO NOT place Mosquito Sentry near heat sources such as stoves, radiators and
heaters. The Mosquito Sentry should be at least 8 inches away from the wall for
best results.
7. Do not attempt to refill Mosquito Sentry without first unplugging the unit from
its electrical outlet.
8. DO NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug after the appliance
malfunctions, or if it has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return
appliance to manufacturer for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment,
or repair.
9. Always place Mosquito Sentry on a firm, flat, level surface.
10. DO NOT allow the repellent outlet to directly face the wall.
11. NEVER tilt, move or attempt to empty unit while it is operating.
12. Shut off and unplug before removing the reservoir and moving the unit.
13. DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this
unit. Doing so will void your warranty. The inside of the unit contains no user
serviceable parts. All servicing should be performed by qualified personnel only.
14. Do not plug in the cord with wet hands, electric shock could result.
15. NEVER use detergents, gasoline, glass cleaner, furniture polish, paint thinner or
other household solvents to clean any part of the Mosquito Sentry.
16. Do not pour repellent into any openings other than the reservoir.
17. Never place housing under water flow or immerse in liquids.
18. Do not touch the liquid in the base during operation.

WARNING: Use only 100% natural Mosquito Sentry Repellent to fill the unit.

CORD AND PLUG INSTALLATION SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The length of cord used on this appliance was selected to reduce the hazards of
becoming tangled in or tripping over a longer cord. If a longer cord is necessary, an
approved extension cord may be used. The electrical rating of the extension cord must
be equal to or greater than the rating of the Mosquito Sentry. Care must be taken to
arrange the extension cord so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop
where it can be pulled on by children or accidentally tripped over.

PRE-OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1.BesuretheMosquitoSentryisOFFanddisconnectedfromtheelectricaloutlet.
2. Place the Mosquito Sentry on a flat surface, at least 8 inches away from the wall.
3. Filling the reservoir instructions
Remove the reservoir cap located on the top of the tank and fill the reservoir.
4. Add Mosquito Sentry Repellent per label instructions.
5. Plug the power cord into a rated electrical outlet.

The indicator light will illuminate, and the alarm will sound when reservoir must
be refilled.
** Results may vary depending on environmental factors such as rain, wind, humidity,
 sunlightandtemperature.Forbestresults,turnMosquitoSentryonatleast30
minutes prior to entering the protected area.
Some mosquitoes or flies may be trapped in the treated area. They will remain
aroundwallsorfurniture.Whentheunitisturnedoff,theywillresumenormal
activity.
In breezy/windy conditions, the Mosquito Sentry should be placed in a manner that
allows the wind to blow the repellent toward you.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
To get the maximum benefit from the Mosquito Sentry and avoid product failure,
follow all maintenance instructions carefully. If the recommended care and
maintenance guidelines are not followed, microorganisms may be able to grow
in the repellent within the Mosquito Sentry.
MAINTENANCE
1.Beforecleaning,turnthepowertoOFFandunplugtheunitfromtheelectrical
outlet.
2. Remove the reservoir from the main body of the Mosquito Sentry.
3. Carry the reservoir to a sink, then drain and rinse the reservoir thoroughly to remove
 anysedimentanddirt.Wipecleananddrywithaclean,softclothorpapertowel.
4.Rellthetankasinstructedin“Fillingthereservoirinstructions”onpage3.
WEEKLY MAINTENANCE
1.Repeatsteps1–3above.
2. Pour about 8 ounces of white vinegar into the basin and let stand 15 minutes. Then
wipe off the scale in the basin, especially in the transducer, with a soft brush.
3. Empty the basin and clean any residue with a clean, soft cloth.
PRECAUTIONS DURING MAINTENANCE

TIPS FOR PROPER USE OF YOUR MOSQUITO SENTRY
Never use any material other than 100% natural Mosquito Sentry Repellent in the unit.
This system is designed to reduce the repellent into submicron particles and disperse
themoverawidearea.Fillingtheunitwithchemicals,pesticidesorotherproductswill
damage the unit and may cause serious injury due to inhalation.
The Mosquito Sentry is designed to protect your average size patio. In windy
conditions, it may be necessary to move the unit closer to your sitting area.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If your Mosquito Sentry is not working correctly, please check the following causes:

INSTRUCCIONES PREOPERATIVAS
1. Asegúrate de que el Mosquito Sentry esté APAGADO y desconectado del
tomacorriente.
2. Coloca el Mosquito Sentry sobre una superficie plana separado por lo menos
20,32 cm de la pared.
3. Instrucciones para llenar el depósito􀀁
Retira la tapa del depósito en la parte superior del tanque y llena el depósito.
4. Agrega Repelente Mosquito Sentry tal como lo indican las instrucciones en la

INSTRUCCIONES DE LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
Para obtener el mayor beneficio posible del Mosquito Sentry y evitar desperfectos en
el producto, sigue cuidadosamente las instrucciones de mantenimiento. Si no sigues
las indicaciones de cuidado y mantenimiento recomendadas, el repelente dentro del
Mosquito Sentry puede convertirse en un caldo de cultivo de microorganismos.
MANTENIMIENTO
1.Antesdelimpiar,colocaelinterruptorenapagado(OFF)ydesenchufalaunidaddel
tomacorriente.
2. Retira el depósito del equipo principal del Mosquito Sentry.
3.Llevaeldepósitoaunlavamanos,vacíayenjuágalocompletamenteparaeliminar
 lossedimentosylasuciedad.Limpiaysecaconunpañolimpioysuaveounatoalla
de papel.
4.Vuelveallenareltanquecomoloindicanlas“Instruccionesparallenareldepósito”

MANTENIMIENTO SEMANAL
1. Repite los pasos anteriores del 1 al 3.
2. Vierte cerca de 8 onzas de vinagre blanco en el recipiente y déjalo durante 15
