About MotionGear 4U(CAC4)
MotionGear 4U is a 4-axis motion simulator, a device that can realistically
provide the motion effects of digital content to users. When connected with
various devices such as VR / AR devices, it can provide a higher sensation
effect. It also provides SDKs, emulators, and test programs that are useful for
video and content developers as well as general users to connect devices.

Warning! To minimize the risk of personal injury, discomfort, and property
damage, be sure to read the cautions before using the product.
Warning! During the motion simulator operation, access within the radius
of 1meter is prohibited except for the occupants and the administrator.
Warning! Do not turn off the power or disconnect the cable while the
motion simulator is running.
Warning! Please refrain from using when the user does not have a
complete sense of movement and balance. If you have pregnant women,
the elderly, mental illness, heart disease or other diseases, please consult
your doctor before use.
Warning! Symptoms such as seizures, loss of cognition, eye fatigue,
muscle cramps, visual abnormalities, dizziness, loss of direction, balance
sensation disorders, fatigue, motion sickness and tired or painful symptoms
in any part of the body such as muscles, joints, and skin If so, discontinue
use and rest. If you have any of the above symptoms during or after use,
discontinue use and consult a doctor.
Warning! To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not modify or open the
parts provided. Do not use the product if the cable is damaged or the
wire is exposed.
Caution! Do not use the device if any part is broken or damaged. Do not
attempt to repair the device yourself. Repairs should only be performed
by authorized service personnel.

Product composition
Base frame :① A frame that can be mounted on a cockpit. The base frame
type varies depending on the type of cockpit. The base
frame must be assembled with a bracket to attach the
cylinder.
Cylinder : In case of 4U, 4 cylinders are installed as shown in the②
picture above. The cylinder is assembled with the base
frame through the bracket. The cable on the cylinder must
be connected to the control box with a motor cable.
Control box : The control box is connected to the cylinder cable and③
the connectors (FL, FR, RL, RR) on the front panel of the
control box. In addition, it is connected to the PC
through a USB cable.

Button part : It consists of UP button, DOWN button, PG button, If the①
UP button is pressed, the entire motion simulator moves
upward, and when the DOWN button is pressed, the entire
motion simulator moves downward.
When UP or DOWN button is pressed, the simulator is
switched to manual mode, PC connection operation is stopped,
and all LEDs of the status LED are turned on. In case of
emergency, it is used as a stop button.
If the UP and DOWN buttons are operated before the RUN LED※
on the motion simulator's status LED turns on, it may operate
outside the driving range of the motion simulator, and in this
case, equipment errors may occur.
In case of PG button, this button is used to upgrade the board
inside the control box. (Since the method can be changed with
a button other than the PG button, please refer to the
homepage if there is an upgrade notice.)
USB : This is a USB B TYPE connector for use when connecting to a②
PC. It is recommended that the USB cable is equipped with a
ferrite and that the length is within 3 meters

Status LED display :③ LED is composed of three types: SET, RUN, and ERR.
SET LED is on when the motion simulator power is
on and before the PC is connected.
RUN LED lights up when the motion simulator is
connected to a PC and is ready to run in an
initialized state.
ERR LED turns on when an error occurs in the
motion simulator, and at this time, the simulator no
longer moves and stops.
If the error continues, do not operate the product※
and contact the MotionHouse to take action.
POWER button: This button is used to turn the power ON / OFF. When④
the power is ON, the button lights red, and when it is
OFF, the light goes out and the power is cut off.
Cylinder connector: This connector is used to connect to the cylinder.⑤
Cylinder 1EA is a set of 2 cables (motor, encoder).
Since the connector of the motor and encoder
cable are different, check and install the connector.
In addition, the connector must connect the
cylinder for each position. Be sure to refer to the
photo below to check the location and install the
connector.

Power connector: It is a power connector of 2UN product and can be①
used in general cables other than the power cable
provided by Motion House (AC220V, 10A or more).
When connecting the cable to the connector, make
sure that it is installed correctly.
The fuse is attached to the power connector of the※
simulator. If the fuse blows due to an unexpected
situation, check the problem of the equipment and
replace the spare fuse before use.
However, in the event of an unexpected situation, you
must contact the Motion House to check for any
abnormality in the equipment.
Fan : This is a fan for circulation of the control box. When the power is②
turned on, it always operates until the power is turned off.
 The noise of the control box fan is not a circulation fan, but a fan※
sound from the drive inside the control box and is not a fan in
the picture above.
