MOTOROLA’S SMALLEST
MPT PROFESSIONAL RADIO
PTX700 Plus / PTX760 Plus
PPTTXX770000PPLLUUSS//PPTTXX776600PPLLUUSS
Motorola's newest professional two-way radios packs a
range of cutting edge innovations into one compact and
lightweight radio designed to continue the Motorola heritage
of offering the very best that MPT Trunked portable radios
can offer. Introducing Motorola PTX700 Plus and PTX760 Plus
- the smallest in Motorola's MPT-Trunked Professional Radio
Series. They are compact, light and fit easily into the palm of
your hand. Whether it's the harsh environment of a construction
site or the elegance of an exclusive hotel, the radio of choice
is PTX700 Plus and PTX760 Plus.
The MPT1327 trunking system is a signalling standard that
defines an open air interface of speech and data services
between radio terminals and the system. An MPT1327
system manages the network and radio users, synchronises
and schedules call requests, calls individuals and groups of
radio users and conducts call maintenance.
COMPACT & RUGGED, THE PTX700 Plus
AND PTX760 Plus ARE IDEAL FOR
PROFESSIONALS ON THE GO
PTX700 PLUS: COMPACT AND EASY TO USE
The PTX700 Plus is the affordable communication solution
for professionals who require a small size, rugged and
reliable radio to stay in contact. This popular radio increases
productivity, keeping users communicating, whilst allowing
them to concentrate on their jobs.
SIGNALLING
The fully compliant MPT signalling package includes
MPT1343, Regionet 43 and ANN modes of operation.
MULTIPLE PERSONALITIES
Configurable for up to 2 personalities – Trunked (inclusive of
Talkgroup Select mode) and/or Conventional to suit different
communication needs.
WIDEBAND AND PROGRAMMABLE CHANNEL SPACING
Provides flexibility in deployment and stocking.
X-PAND™ VOICE COMPRESSION AND
LOW LEVEL EXPANSION
As with any radio, sound quality is critical for effective
communications. Motorola’s MPT-Trunked Professional Radio
series can be heard in almost any environment because of
Motorola’s unique voice compression and expansion technology
called X-PAND™. X-PAND enables crisper, clearer and stronger
audio quality, allowing users to continue communicating even in
noisy conditions. In addition, Low Level Expansion allows further
improvements in audio quality by reducing noise usually heard
during pauses in conversation.
DYNAMIC REGROUPING
Enables the field radio to be re-assigned to flexible grouping over
the air without the necessity to return the radio to the workshop
for re-programming.
MISSED CALL ALERTS
The radio can store an incoming caller identity and prompt the
user to return the call they receive. This eliminates the risk of
losing important calls.
EMERGENCY CALL
Addressing the need for urgent communications in an
emergency, the PTX700 Plus provides an immediate call
set-up capability, even when the system is busy or during
overloaded periods.
TIME-OUT TIMER
Limits the amount of time a user has to continuously transmit
on a channel. This allows for more efficient use of the channel.

PTX760 PLUS: COMPACT & VERSATILE
The PTX760 Plus offers a versatile MPT Trunked professional radio solution
for those who require additional features to meet their expanding
communication needs. No matter where it is used, in the rugged
environment of the surveillance industry or the posh elegance of a hotel,
the PTX760 Plus is the radio of chose for any growing organisation.
Building upon the wide-ranging features of PTX700 Plus, the PTX760 Plus
has the following additional offerings:
4 PERSONALITIES
Configurable for up to 4 multiple personalities –
Trunked (inclusive of Talkgroup Select mode) and/or Conventional; offering
users the flexibility in meeting their diverse communication needs.
USER INFORMATION
The 14 character alpha-numeric display contains useful icons and
information; such as a radio signal strength indicator which informs users
of the signal strength in the vicinity and a battery gauge icon which alerts
users on battery strength – key information that assists users in ensuring
optimum communication efficiency. The PTX760 Plus also provides
distinctive ringing tones and alpha-tagging of incoming calls, enabling
audio and visual caller-identification.
FAST ACCESS DIALLING AND INTUITIVE MENUS
One-touch dialling (dedicated and speed-dial buttons), easy to use menus
and an alpha-numeric phonebook/contact list make the full power of the
radio simple and intuitive to use.
STATUS MESSAGING
There are up to 32 status messages can be pre-configured to improve
productivity, reduce speech call time and reduce network traffic
congestion. Commonly use response can now be communicated with
status messages rather than voice. Statuses received can be stored
within the radio and viewed later.
