SHIMMER CAROUSEL
THIS PRODUCT IS NOT A TOY! Please read this entire instruction booklet before using and retain for future reference.
INSTRUCTION MANUAL
1. DESCRIPTION
Thank you for purchasing the SHIMMER CAROUSEL. This product features figures traveling around an LED-lit carousel, accompanied by music. Plays 15
Christmas carols and 15 year-round classics. The package includes the unit and an adapter. This product is not a toy and is not intended for use by children. For
indoor and decorative use only.
2. OPERATION
Gently lift the unit from the packaging and remove it from the polybag. DO NOT LIFT THE UNIT BY HOLDING ANY ATTACHED FIGURES OR PARTS.
LIFT FROM BASE ONLY.
A. Place the unit on any flat surface.
B. Insert the AC adapter plug into the power jack and plug the adapter into a nearby working outlet. The adapter is intended to be correctly oriented in a
vertical or floor mount position.
C. Turn the VOLUME dial to any position to activate the unit. Music will start to play and the platform will begin to turn.
D. Turn the VOLUME dial toward the MAX position to adjust the volume of the music. NOTE: WHEN THE VOLUME CONTROL IS AT ITS MINIMUM
SETTING, NO MUSIC CAN BE HEARD.
E. When the unit is ON, songs will play continuously. The first song is selected randomly each time the unit is turn ON.
F. To switch to a new song immediately, push the PUSH FOR NEW SONG button or turn the unit to either CHRISTMAS SONGS or YEAR-ROUND
SONGS.
G. Use the LED switch to change between COLOR or WHITE light on the panels surrounding the canopy and in the center column. (Color option shown
below.)
3. TROUBLESHOOTING
Your SHIMMER CAROUSEL has been designed to provide many seasons of trouble-free operation. In the event that a problem does occur, please refer to the
following chart for suggested solutions.
Problem Likely Causes Solution
No music, lights or motion
1. No power
1. Make sure the adapter is plugged into a working outlet
2. Make sure the adapter jack is securely attached to the back of the unit
2. Unit is OFF Turn the VOLUME dial toward the MAX position
Music is not playing but there is motion
1. Pause between songs Wait one or two seconds for the next song to start
2. VOLUME dial is LOW Turn VOLUME control toward MAX position
Music is playing but figures are not
moving
1. Power is interrupted Turn power OFF and then ON again
2. Platform is obstructed Turn power OFF and remove obstruction
Music is too loud, too soft, or not audible
1. Volume dial is incorrectly
adjusted
Adjust VOLUME dial to your preference
2. Power is interrupted 1. Make sure the adapter is plugged into both the wall and the unit
2. Turn power OFF and then ON again

4. CARE INSTRUCTIONS
A. PLEASE NOTE: THE ROOF FABRIC IS FRAGILE AND MAY WRINKLE DURING SHIPMENT OR STORAGE. TO RESTORE IT TO ITS
ORIGINAL CONDITION, USE A LINT OR SUEDE BRUSH AND CAREFULLY RUN IT OVER THE ROOF IN AN UP AND DOWN MOTION.
B. Before using or reusing, inspect product carefully. Discard any products that have cracks in enclosure or exposed wire.
C. When storing the product, carefully remove from the current location to avoid any undue strain or stress on the conductors, connections and wires.
D. When not in use, store neatly in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight and heat.
E. If necessary, clean product by wiping with a soft, dry cloth.

TO PREVENT FIRE OR SHOCK HAZARD, DO NOT EXPOSE THIS ITEM TO RAIN OR MOISTURE. DO NOT REMOVE COVER. NO USER
SERVICEABLE PARTS INSIDE. IF SERVICING IS NEEDED, SEND TO QUALIFIED SERVICE PERSONNEL. PLEASE ADHERE TO THE
FOLLOWING:
A. Read Instructions - All safety and operating instructions should be read before the item is operated. Please adhere to the instructions and warnings for your
safety.
B. Water and Moisture - Do NOT put item near water of any kind: a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, on a wet floor or near a swimming pool.
C. Heat - The item should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, hairdryers, heat registers, stoves or other appliances that produce heat.
D. Power Sources - The item should be connected to a power supply only like the one that is provided with the item.
E. Damage Requiring Service - Have a qualified service personnel service this item when:
1) The power-supply cord or plug has been damaged.
2) Objects have fallen or liquid has spilled into the item.
3) The item has been exposed to rain or moisture.
4) All troubleshooting techniques have been tried and the item will not work or has stopped working.
5) The item has been dropped or the enclosure damaged.

6. NINETY-DAY LIMITED WARRANTY
Mr. Christmas warrants the original consumer / purchaser of the SHIMMER CAROUSEL that it will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a
period of ninety (90) days from date-of-purchase. Any liability of Mr. Christmas under this warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of defective
parts without charge if the item is returned with shipping charges prepaid together with proof of date-of-purchase, name and mailing address of the original
consumer/purchaser. This warranty does not cover defects caused by damages in transit, abuse, accident, negligence or repairs made by others. This warranty
gives the consumer / purchaser specific legal rights. This consumer / purchaser may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
