Watering will be specific to the succulent or plant you choose to grow.
Always remove the pot from the base of Grow Pod and add water slowly. Stop watering when the pot drips from the
bottom. Wait for the water to stop dripping and then place back in Grow Pod. DO NOT water near electrical outlets.
Unplug Grow Pod from power source while watering.

• Is on a sturdy, levelled and water-tolerant surface.
• Away from small children or pets.
• Away from a direct source of heat (e.g. a stove or heater) or cold draft during Winter.
• Away from direct sunlight. Allowing some natural light in addition to the light provided is beneficial.
• Note that the ideal temperature for plants to grow is 16-26° Celsius, so during the Summer heat move them to a
cooler part of the house, and a warmer location in Winter. The light provided is LED so it does not provide heat,
only light.
• USER MAINTENANCE - Doing electrical work yourself can be dangerous. By law any electrical installation work
must be done by a licensed electrician. They must test the work and give you a uniquely numbered Certificate of
Compliance Electrical Work to show it has been tested and ensure it complies with the regulations.
• Do not place the unit where temperatures fall below freezing or exceed 45° Celsius.
• The LED grow light is 2.5W - if unit is placed in full sunshine, ensure the light is turned off.
• DO NOT SUBMERGE. Do not immerse the USB cable or any of the Grow Pod equipment in water or other liquid,
and unplug the cable from USB port when not in use. If liquid spills onto the Grow Pod, unplug from adaptor and
have it checked before using again.
• FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. The Grow Pod is not intended for commercial use and is for domestic and personal
use only.
• WARNING:
- Never touch the USB cable with damp hands.
- Disconnect the USB cable before servicing or replacing lights.
- Only use the Grow Pod as described in this user manual. Any other use is deemed improper and
may result in damage to property or even personal injury. The Grow Pod is not a children’s toy and
children using it must be supervised by an adult at all times.
• Mr. Fothergill’s Seeds Pty Ltd accepts no liability for any damage caused by improper or incorrect use.
2.1 Mr Fothergill’s Seeds Pty Ltd warrants that the Grow Pod when purchased by you will comply with any description for
the product as set out above.
2.2 Unless expressly provided in this document or any other written document of Mr Fothergill’s Seeds Pty Ltd, Mr
Fothergill’s Pty Ltd gives no representations or warranties for the Grow Pod.
2.3 You warrant that in purchasing the Grow Pod you have:
(a) Satisfied yourself as to the description and condition of the Grow Pod and their fitness for the
purpose for which you will use them; and
(b) Not relied on any statement, representation, warranty, guarantee, condition, advice,
recommendation, information, assistance or service provided or given by Mr. Fothergill’s Seeds Pty
Ltd or anyone on Mr Fothergill’s Seeds Pty Ltd’s behalf in respect of the Grow Pod, other than those
expressively contained in this document.
2.4 Where you buy the Grow Pod as a consumer, this agreement is subject to the Australian Consumer Law which
governs the rights of consumers and nothing in this document affects your statutory rights.
2.5 Mr. Fothergill’s Seeds Pty Ltd’s liability is limited to, to the extend permissable by law and at Mr Fothergill’s Seeds Pty
Ltd option;
2.5.1 In relation to the Grow Pod:
i. The replacement of the products or the supply of equivalent products
ii. The repair of the products
iii. The payment of the cost of replacing the products or of acquiring
equivalent products; or
iv. The payment of the cost of having the products repaired.
2.6 To the extent permitted at law, all other warranties whether implied or otherwise, not set out in this document are
excluded and Mr Fothergill’s Seeds Pty Ltd is not liable in contract, tor (including, without limitation, negligence or
breach of statutory duty) or otherwise to compensate you for:
2.6.1 Any increased costs or expenses;
2.6.2 Any loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts or anticipated savings;
2.6.3 Any loss or expense resulting from a claim by a third party; or
2.6.4 Any special, indirect or consequencial loss or damage of any nature whatsoever caused by Mr
Fothergill’s Seeds Pty Ltd’s failure to complete or delay in delivering the Grow Pod.
2.7 This warranty does not cover:
2.7.1 Any defects caused by an accident, misuse, abuse, improper installation or operation, lack of
reasonable care, unauthorised modification, loss of parts, tampering or attempted repair by a
person not authorised by Mr Fothergill’s Seeds Pty Ltd;
2.7.2 Any Grow Pod that has not been installed, operated or maintained in accordance to User
Instructions provided with this product;
2.7.3 Any Grow Pod that has been used for purposes other than domestic use; or
2.7.4 Any damage caused by improper power input or improper cable connection.

3.1 Subject to clause 3.2, you must inspect the Grow Pod when you purchase the product and notify Mr Fothergill’s Seeds
Pty Ltd in writing within 12 months of purchase of any alleged defect, damage or failure of the product. If no notice is
given within 12 months of purchase, you will be deemed to have accepted the product. If a notice of defect or damage
is given, you must allow Mr Fothergill’s Seeds Pty Ltd access to inspect the Grow Pod to determine whether or not that
notice is valid.
3. DEFECTS & RETURNS CONT.
3.2 Mr Fothergill’s Seeds Pty Ltd will only accept the return of faulty and/or out of condition Grow Pod, provided:
3.2.1 The Grow Pod is not out of shelf life or is not in its original condition as a result of normal fair wear
and tear;
3.2.2 The Grow Pod is in its original packaging and the original invoice number has been quoted;
3.2.3 Such claims for return of a faulty and/or out of condition Grow Pod are made within 12 months of
purchase.
3.3 Mr Fothergill’s Seeds Pty Ltd will not be liable for any defects, damage or failure of the Grow Pod which has not been
stored or used in the proper manner.
3.3.1 This warranty is valid for the original purchaser and is not transferable. You must keep the original
purchase docket, tax invoice or receipt as proof of purchase, and proof of date on which the
purchase was made.
3.3.2 The Grow Pod will not be accepted for return in any circumstances other than those specified in
this clause 3 or required by law.
INDEMNITY
To the full extent permitted by law, you will indemnify Mr Fothergill’s Seeds Pty Ltd and keep Mr Fothergill’s Seeds Pty Ltd
indemnified from and against any liability and any loss or damage Mr Fothergill’s Seeds Pty Ltd may sustain, as a result of
any breach, act or omission, arising directly from or in connection with any breach of any of these terms or the User
Instructions by you or your representatives.
INDEMNITY
Contact Mr Fothergill’s Seeds via phone, letter or website contact form (details at the end).
When making a return, please ensure the product is properly packaged so as to ensure that no damage occurs to the
product in transit. Please provide the original or a copy of the proof of purchase. Please also make sure you have
included an explanation of the problem as well as your contact details.

USER INSTRUCTIONS
THIS UNIT IS TO BE USED FOR
GROWING SUCCULENTS & SMALL PLANTS

USING YOUR GROW POD IS EASY!
JUST FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
Open the box and unpack all components. The unit contains 1 x Grow Pod and 1 x USB cable.
Remove and discard foam inserts from inside the Grow Pod.
Take the cover off the Grow Pod and remove the pot from the base. Place your succulent or
small plant into the pot with its existing soil mix.
While the pot is removed from the base, add water slowly. Stop watering when water drips
through the base of the pot. Wait for water to stop dripping and then place the pot back in the
Grow Pod. DO NOT water plant near electrical outlets.
Place cover on the base ensuring it clicks into place at the magnet connection point.
Connect Micro USB cable into the Grow Pod and connect the USB plug into USB port. Once
the power is connected you will see the blue light appear under the power button.

Press the ON/OFF power button and the blue light will turn off and the full power LED grow light
in the Grow Pod will turn on.
• This light level is suitable for succulents and plants that require a very bright light.

Press the ON/OFF power button again and the LED grow light will change to a softer light.
• This light level is suitable for moss or plants that require a softer light, such as ferns.

Press the ON/OFF power button a third time and the LED grow light will turn off completely, and
the blue light under the button will appear again.

When power is switched on, the ventilation fan will commence the auto cycle - 20 minutes on,
40 minutes off and then another 20 minutes on.

To enter timer mode:
• Once the Grow Pod is connected to power and the blue light appears, press and hold
the ON/OFF power button for 3-4 seconds - this will set the timer mode. This means the
light will stay on for 12 hours and then turn off automatically for 12 hours.
• Once your succulent or plant grows too large for the Grow Pod, remove it from the pot
and transplant to a larger pot or your garden.
