damaged power cable. Never use the power cable to move the device. Do not remove the plug from the socket
while holding the cable.
Keep the cable away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Use personal protective equipment: safety
glasses, hard hat, ear plugs and gloves, special shoes, tight-tting clothing.
Do not operate the chainsaw with one hand! Serious injuries to the operator, assistants and others can result
from operation with one hand. The chainsaw is designed for two-handed operation. Start work only after
freeing the work area from unnecessary objects.
Before starting the device, make sure that the chain is not in contact with anything.
During saw transportation, the motor must be turned o with the bar and chain facing back. When carrying
the chainsaw, always place the cover on the bar.
Be especially careful when trimming bushes and seedlings, as their elastic branches can fall into a chain, hit
or unbalance you.
When cutting a branch that is exposed to external load, beware of the impact after removing the load. Before
sawing, check the wood for foreign objects such as nails. Be sure to remove them before cutting.
Use the device only for its intended purpose. The saw is intended for cutting wood only. Do not use the saw
for other purposes not specied herein. For example cutting plastics, masonry, etc. Before work, clean and
wipe the handles.
Do not cut above shoulder level, bend over too much and touch the ground with a saw chain. When sawing
boards and logs, it is necessary to use a reliable stand (framing). Do not let the other person hold the log while
sawing and never hold the log with your foot.
Do not work in low light conditions and on steep slopes.
The saw should be guided in such a way that no part of the body is in the cutting plane (Fig. 1).
Pic. 1
Never use a chainsaw as a planer.
Be careful! There is a danger of rebound when working with a chainsaw. A rebound causes loss of control of
the chainsaw and can cause serious or even fatal injury. Bounce with rotation and bounce due to jamming
represent the main danger when working with chain saws and are the main cause of most accidents.
A rebound occurs when the front or top of the saw blade (especially the upper quarter) touches the tree or
other hard objects, and also when the cut in the tree closes and wedges the chain. Frontal contact with the
upper part of the saw blade can cause a lightning fast reaction, in which the tool bounces up and back to
the operator. Jamming of the chain at the bottom of the guide bar pushes the chainsaw out of the operator.
Jamming of the chain at the top of the guide bar pushes the device back to the operator. Any of these eects
could result in loss of control of the saw and serious injury. (Pic. 2).

Pic. 9
10. Install both nuts, tighten them by hand, and then follow the instructions for adjusting the chain tension.
After the necessary chain tension, tighten the nuts completely.
Adjusting the chain tension
ATTENTION!
In operation, the chain is required to wear protective gloves.
The correct chain tension is crucial and must be checked both before starting work and periodically during
operation. Take the time to adjust the chain, this will increase the performance of the saw and extend its
service life.
ATTENTION!
The new chain sags quickly and requires tension after 5-8 slices. This is characteristic of new
chains; over time, the interval between tension increases.
Toothed wheel guide bar and the crankshaft chain wear much more quickly if excessive chain slack or too tight.
View pic. 10, which shows the correct tension for the cold chain (A), warm chain (B), and the chain whose
tension must be adjusted (C).
Pic. 10
Chain tension adjustment procedure
1. Loosen the nuts securing the guide bar (protective cover with brake ap), turn the adjusting screw (D)
clockwise to tighten the chain. To reduce chain tension, turn adjusting screw (D) counterclockwise. Make
sure that the chain is located on the entire periphery of the guide bar (Fig. 11).
2. After adjusting the chain, tighten the nuts securing the guide bar (protective cover together with the brake
ap). A chain is considered properly tensioned if it can be moved by hand with little eort. The chain should
adhere well to the underside of the saw blade and be pulled about 2-4 mm away from the blade by hand.

11
GASOLINE CHAIN SAW
EN
D
Pic. 11
NOTE: If the chain moves along the guide bar with diculty or stops, it means that it is overtightened. The
tension should be loosened.
Chain brake test
The chain saw is equipped with a chain brake, which reduces the likelihood of injury when the saw bounces.
The safety device operates when pressure is applied to the brake ap. When the operator’s hand hits the shield,
the chain stops abruptly.
ATTENTION!
The chain brake reduces the likelihood of injury due to a rebound of the chainsaw, but does not
provide protection in the event of careless operation of the device. Before starting work and
periodically while working with a chainsaw, check that the chain brake is working properly.
The chain brake has two positions:
1. The brake is o (the chain may move) when the brake ap is pulled back (A) (Pic. 12).
2. The brake is applied (the chain cannot move) when the brake ap is directed forward (B). In this case, the
circuit should not move on the guide bar (Pic. 12).
A B
Pic. 12
To check the chain brake:
1. Place the saw on a at surface and release the chain brake. The chain must not come into contact with
anything.
2. Start the chainsaw, press the Lock button and the trigger.
3. Press a chain brake guard. The chain should stop quickly. Release the throttle.
ATTENTION!
The brake ap must be in good condition and emit a characteristic click when moving from
one position to another. It is forbidden to use the device if the brake brush cannot be moved
to one of the positions or the chain does not stop when the brake is applied. Take the device
to an authorized service center for repair.

12 GASOLINE CHAIN SAW
EN
Chain oil change
ATTENTION!
Never use used oil! Waste oil is harmful to the environment and can also cause the saw to
break.
To lubricate the saw chain and saw blade, use chain saw oil. It is recommended to use a lubricating oil that
contains additives to reduce friction and wear, and also prevents the build-up of resin on the guide bar and chain.
ATTENTION!
Before refueling the oil tank, make sure that the chainsaw is turned o.
To ll the oil tank:
1. Be sure to clean the surface around the oil tank cap so that dirt does not get inside.
2. Unscrew the oil tank cap and ll in the chain saw oil (260 ml tank volume).
3. Screw on the oil tank cap.
4. Before starting work, check the oil supply: turn on the chainsaw and hold it over a suitable bedding. With
sucient lubrication, a slight trail of droplets of discharged oil is formed. (Pic. 13).
Piс. 13
ATTENTION!
Always check the oil level. Chainsaw operation with insucient oil for chain lubrication is
not allowed.
Proper lubrication is necessary to reduce chain friction with the guide bar. The operation of a chain saw with
a lack of lubrication reduces productivity and reduces service life, causing rapid wear of the chain and guide
bar due to overheating. This chain saw is equipped with an automatic lubrication system that provides the
necessary amount of lubricant to the guide bar and chain. With increasing engine speed, the oil ow to the
guide bar also increases.
Fuel mixture for a chainsaw
For best results, use unleaded regular gasoline without additives of standard quality, mixed with special oil for
2-stroke engines in the proportion indicated on the oil package. The recommended proportion of the mixture
is 1:40 if it does not dier with the recommended proportion of the oil producer.
Fuel and oil are mixed for 2-stroke engines in a special tank until a uniform mass is obtained.
ATTENTION!
Refueling the chainsaw with pure gasoline is not allowed. This will damage the engine and
void the manufacturer’s product warranty.
It is not recommended to use a fuel mixture that is stored for more than 30 days.

OPERATING PROCEDURE
Device use
Before starting work, check the workplace and remove foreign objects from it that could cause various injuries
or damage to the equipment.
Use the tool only during daylight hours or in good light conditions.
Be careful when working with the device and always use common sense. In case of emergency, immediately
turn o the chainsaw and contact an authorized service center.
Engine starting
1. Ensure that you have good support and place the chainsaw on the ground so that the chain does not touch
anything.
2. Hold the front handle with one hand and press the chainsaw to the ground. Hold the rear handle while
stepping on it.
3. Set the ignition switch to the on position.
4. Press the primer about 4-5 times until the fuel appears in it..
5. Pull the choke lever toward you until it locks, the choke closes.
6. Slowly pull the starter handle until you feel resistance, then with a condent and even movement, pull the
cable to a distance of no more than 50-60 cm. Repeat the procedure several times until the engine starts.
7. Press the Lock button and trigger, the carburetor air damper will open automatically, the damper lever will
return to its original position.
ATTENTION!
Do not allow the cable to extend fully until the starter drum stops. This leads to a breakdown
of the starter and is not a warranty case.
Engine stop
1. Turn o the lock button and trigger, let the engine work at the idle speed.
2. To stop the engine, move the switch to the o position.
NOTE: For an emergency stop, apply the chain brake and move the switch to the o position.
Clipping
Small trees with a diameter of up to 15 cm are usually cut o in a single cut. On larger trees, you must rst le.
The le determines the direction in which the tree will fall.
ATTENTION!
Outline your departure path (A) and clear it of possible obstacles before proceeding with
the slicing. The path to the exit must be in the opposite direction to the expected fall of the
tree (B) (Pic. 14).
A
B
Рiс. 14

14 GASOLINE CHAIN SAW
EN
ATTENTION!
When felling a tree growing on a slope, the operator should stand higher on the slope, since
the sawn tree may slide down.
NOTE: The direction of fall is determined by the le. Before starting the cuts, evaluate the distribution of large
branches, the center of gravity of the crown and the natural slope of the tree to determine the direction of the
tree's fall.
ATTENTION!
Tree felling is not allowed in the presence of strong or variable winds and in case of risk of
property damage. No tree felling is allowed if there is a risk of damage to the wires. Check
with community services and specialists.
Tree felling
Typically, a tree felling consists of two main operations: le (C) and the nal cut (D). Start the le (C) on the side
of the tree that is in the intended direction of fall (E). Make sure that the undercut does not go too deep into
the trunk. The le (C) should be made so that a suciently thick and strong part of the barrel (F) remains uncut.
The le should be wide enough to fully guide the fall of the tree when felling.
Attention! Do not walk in front of a tree that has already been cut. The nal cut (D) is performed on the back of
the tree 3-5 cm above the horizontal base of the le (C) (Pic. 15).
DF
C
Рiс. 15
Never cut the trunk to the end. Always leave uncut a thick enough and strong part of the trunk (F). This cut
piece prevents the tree from falling prematurely and guides it when it falls. If you cut the trunk to the end,
you will lose control over the direction of the fall. Slice a wedge or lever before the tree becomes unstable and
begins to move. Thus, you will prevent the guide bar from jamming in the cut if you incorrectly determined the
direction of the fall. Before you tumble down a tree, make sure that no one is in the area where the tree falls.
ATTENTION!
Before performing the nal cut, always check to see if there are unauthorized people,
animals, or objects in the work area.
Final cut
Use wood or plastic wedges (A) to prevent the guide bar and chain from seizing (B) in the cut. The wedges also
control the felling (Pic. 16).

15
GASOLINE CHAIN SAW
EN
A B
Рiс. 16
When the barrel diameter is greater than the guide bar length, two slices are performed, as shown in Pic 17.
Рiс. 17
ATTENTION!
During the nal cut, when the chainsaw approaches the uncut part of the trunk, the tree will
begin to fall.
When the tree begins to fall, remove the chainsaw from the cut, stop the engine, lay the chainsaw on the
ground, and leave the zone of the intended exit path. Perform all actions promptly, without delay.
Pruning branches
ATTENTION!
Do not trim branches while standing on the trunk. This could result in serious personal injury.
Pruning of branches is made from a fallen tree. Do not cut branches that support the trunk and do not allow it
to slide (A) until you cut the trunk (Pic. 18).
Branches exposed to external loads should be cut from the bottom up to avoid jamming the chainsaw.
Рiс. 18

16 GASOLINE CHAIN SAW
EN
Cross cutting
Sawing is performed across wood bers. When working on an incline, make sure you are in a stable position and
stand on the higher side of the slope with respect to the trunk. It is desirable that the trunk lay on supports, and the
sawn end was not on the ground. Make sure that the chain does not crash into the ground, as this will cause quick
chain wear.
1
Рiс. 19
With transverse sawing, the toothed stop 1 (Pic. 19) should be installed on the sawn log.
1. In the case when the trunk is on supports along the entire length, drive the chain saw from top to bottom
and at the same time make sure that the chain does not cut into the ground (Pic. 20).
2. In the case where the trunk rests on the support at one end, rst cut from the bottom to 1/3 of the trunk
diameter to avoid splitting. Then nish the cut from above so that it coincides with the rst cut, avoiding
jamming (Pic. 21).
1
2
Рiс. 20 Рiс. 21
3. In the case when the trunk is on supports from two ends, rst cut from the top 1/3 of the trunk diameter to
avoid splitting. After that, nish the bottom cut so that it coincides with the rst cut, avoiding jamming. (Pic. 22).
For cutting into pieces, the trunk is best propped up with goats. If this is not possible, the trunk should be
raised and laid on the logs. Make sure the barrel is rmly xed.
For personal safety and ease of sawing, maintain proper posture. (Pic. 23):
1. Hold the saw rmly with both hands to the right of the body.
2. Keep your left hand as straight as possible.
3. Maintain balance by resting on both legs.

Carb adjustment
The carburetor is factory-set for optimal performance. If there is a need for adjustment, contact your nearest
authorized service.
Chainsaw Preservation
When storing the chain saw for more than 30 days, its preservation is necessary. If the preservation instructions
are not followed, the remaining fuel in the carburettor will evaporate, leaving a viscous jelly-like precipitate.
This will lead to problems when starting the engine and costly repairs.
ATTENTION!
Storage of a chain saw for more than 30 days is not allowed if the following measures are
not taken:
1. Open the fuel tank cap carefully to excess pressure in the fuel tank discharged slowly. Drain o any
remaining fuel.
2. Start the engine and let it run until it stops so that fuel evaporates from the carburetor.
3. Allow the engine to cool (about 5 minutes).
4. Use the spark plug key to remove the spark plug.
5. Add 1 teaspoon of pure 2-stroke engine oil to the plug hole. Pull the starter cord slowly a few times so that
the internal components are coated with oil. Replace the spark plug.
NOTE: Keep the chain saw in a dry place, away from possible sources of re, such as a stove, gas boiler, etc.
Preparing the machine for work after preservation
1. Remove the spark plug.
2. Pull the starter cord with a jerk to remove excess oil from the fuel tank.
3. Clean and adjust the spark plug clearances or insert a new spark plug with a suitable clearance.
4. Prepare the chain saw for work.
5. Fill the tank with a suitable fuel mixture of gasoline and oil.

Turn o the device. Wait approximately 10-15 minutes for the engine to cool completely. Wipe all surfaces and
ventilation openings with a dry cloth or rag; if necessary, use a special brush.
To ensure perfect operation of the oil pump, it is necessary to periodically clean the oil-conducting groove and
the oil-conducting hole in the saw bar.
The bar service
Regularly lubricate the gear at the top of the bar. Proper bar care, described in this section, is essential to the
quality of the chainsaw.
To lubricate the sprocket, the use of a grease gun is recommended (not included). To service the bar sprocket:
1. Disconnect the device from the mains.
2. Clean the sprocket of the bar.
3. Place the needle-shaped nozzle of the syringe into the grease hole and inject grease until it appears on the
outer edge of the bar sprocket (Fig. 19).
4. Move the chain manually. Repeat the above lubrication procedure until the entire bar sprocket is lubricated.
For uniform wear, the bar should be rotated every 8 hours of operation. Keep the bar groove and lubrication
hole clean with a cleaning tool (not supplied) (Pic. 27).
Рiс. 26 Рiс. 27
Regularly check the rails of the bar for wear, if necessary, remove burrs, and use a at le to clean the rails at
right angles (Pic. 28).

The chain service
Check the chain tension regularly and adjust if necessary according to this manual.
Check the condition of the cutting edges of the chain. If the cut quality is reduced, sharpen the chain or contact our
authorized service centre.
All saw teeth should be the same length (size). Saw teeth of various heights lead to uneven movement of the chain,
which can lead to its breaking!
The minimum length of the saw teeth is 3 mm. When the minimum length of the saw teeth is reached, the saw chain
should no longer be sharpened, it must be replaced with a new one.
The distance between the depth gauge and the cutting edge determines the thickness of the clamp (Fig. 29). A
sharpening angle of 30° should be the same for all saw teeth. Unequal angles lead to uneven movement of the chain,
increase wear and can lead to its breaking! The front angle of the saw tooth of the saw, equal to 85°, is formed naturally
due to the penetration depth of the round le. If the maintenance of the prescribed le is correct, then the rake angle
of the saw teeth is formed by itself (Pic. 30).
For sharpening, a special holder with a round le ø4 mm must be used. Conventional round les are unsuitable for
this purpose. Sharpening should only be done by moving the le forward (in the direction of the arrow). When the le
moves backward, the pressure on the device should be reduced (Pic. 31).

First, the shortest saw tooth is sharpened. Its length is the specied length for sharpening all other teeth of the
saw chain. The le should be guided as shown in the gure. The le holder makes it easier to handle during
sharpening, it is marked with the correct sharpening angle of 30° (markings should be aligned in the direction
of the saw chain). It limits the penetration depth (4/5 of the le diameter) (Pic. 32).

Even a slight excess of the tooth of the depth gauge must be ground o with a special at le. The depth gauge
should be rounded in front.
At the end of the grinding process, it is necessary to check the height of the depth gauge using a chain
measuring gauge (Pic. 33).
