SAFETY WARNINGS
For your own and the device safety, you should obey the security warnings;
1. Read the user manual carefully.
2. Read the safety warnings carefully.
3. Remarks about Transport, Shipment and Preservation
- During transport and shipment keep the product with its case. The case will protect the product against
the physical damages.
- Don’t put heavy weight on to the product or the product case. The product might be damaged.
- In case of falling, the product might have permanent damage which will make it non-operational.
- Deformation might be caused in case of extreme air conditions such as hot or cold weather. Life time of
the electronic circuits tend to decrease in such conditions.
4. Situations that might be dangerous to human or natural environment:
- Beware of the sharp pointed edges of the case
- Recycle the product case in the proper recycling bin.
5. Maintenance of the product
- The product doesn’t need periodic maintenance. For maintenance and repair please consult to the
authorized services.
- By rubbing with dry cloth, you can clean the product periodically.
- You can keep the product in its case, when you are not using it.
- Before cleaning the product, unplug the connection. Be careful that the cleaning material doesn’t contain
any solvent such as alcohol, gasoline or thinner.
6. Place the product on a plain and stable wall.
7. To prevent any kind of electrical shock, use the product with its original cable.
8. Don’t put any foreign substance in the product. And don’t try to open it with devices that might cause
electrical shock.
9. When maintenance and repair are practiced in places other than the authorized services, the product
might be damaged.
10. Remarks about the energy consumption of the product
- The product is designed to work 24/7. Yet to prevent energy consumption, it should be unplugged when
it won’t be used for a long period of time. The user should be aware that each of the terminal stations that
are left on use energy that is not needed.
In case of malfunctioning please consult to an authorized service.

GENERAL:
a) When a visitor touches the blue color button on the device the monitor starts ringing
and the screen shows the visitor. During ringing, if icon is touched the
conversation starts. If icon is touched the door is opened. Touching
icon stops the call any time.
b) If INDOOR icon located at INTERCOM page of the monitor is touched the screen
shows the picture of the indoor camera. Touching icon starts the
conversation. icon opens the door and icon ends the connection any
time. icon is used to take the picture of the screen.

2. CONNECTION OF DIP-01 TO IP INTERCOM NETWORK

DIP-01 door panel’s RJ45 socket located on the back side of the device is connected to a PoE
switch with a LAN cable. No need for the connection of any power supply because the device
takes the power through the ethernet cable. DIP-01 door panel is installed near to the flat indoor or
to the VILLA door (s) with the given screws and pegs.

When the power is given to the device, the button flashes with yellow color about three minutes.
When the device becomes ready to use the color of the button becomes blue. If the device has
some problems the color of the button becomes red. Then, you should replace the defective
device.
Important note: DIP-01 is initially programmed to match with 01 001 room number monitor.
Each DIP-01 device should be programmed to match with the corresponding monitors one
by one.

3) MATCHING A DIP-01 TO AN IP MONITOR :
Each DIP-01 device has to be allocated to a room, and this activity is done only once during
installation period. To initiate programming, the device under power is removed from the wall
mount apparatus where the programming swıtches appears. (Figure 4 above shows the back side
of the device with the switches. The table 1 summurize the function of the switches.) The following
steps is applied to match a DIP-01 to a monitor:
i) Bring all switches to down (OFF) position.
ii) Bring Switch 3 to ON position. Button light will flash with a light blue color. When the
light becomes blue in about 3 minutes, this step is completed. Then, bring all switches to
OFF position. This step matches DIP-01 to the monitor with the number 01 001.
iii) In order to match the internal door panel to the room device, bring Switch 1 to ON
position. Button light will flash with a light blue color for 30 seconds. And waits a message
from the room monitor that will be matched.
(If message is not sent within 30 seconds, this activity has to be repeated by making Switch1 OFF and ON again.)

iv) Enter SETUP/General Settings/Send a message to the apartment door. Tap
icon (Figure 3)
“Message is sent” alert will be seen on the screen. This means that, message is sent to DIP-01 device which is on
programming mode

v) Internal door room panel is reset, the button starts flashing with light blue color in about
three minutes. When the device is ready to be used, the button color changes to blue. If the
button is tapped, the related room monitor rings.
Using these steps, DIP-01 and the room monitor become matched with each other. When the call
button on DIP-01 is tapped, the matched monitor rings and the screen shows the camera of the
monitor.
4) USING DIP-01 AS FLAT / VILLA INDOOR PANEL :
a) Calling the monitor by touching the button of DIP-01 :
DIP-01 has a touchmatic button with a blue color. When the button is touched the color of the
button turns to yellow momentarily.
When the button of DIP-01 is touched the matched monitor starts ringing and the monitor screen
shows the camera of the panel. By touching icon on the monitor the conversation starts.

- Duration of the conversation is 60 seconds. icon on the monitor ends the
connection any time.
- If more then one monitor is connected in parallel, all monitors ring at the same time. When
the call is answered the answering monitor establishes the conversation and the others
stop ringing. Note: During ringing, only
the master monitor shows the video of the camera while the other monitors have calling
messages on the screen.
- While ringing or conversation, touching icon on the screen opens the door.
b) Monitoring DIP-01 camera :
When INTERCOM icon on the menu page of the monitor is touched the calling screen with keypad
appears. (Figure 7). INDOOR icon in this page is used to monitor the camera of DIP-01.
icon on the new page establishes the voice communication. icon opens the door and
icon ends the connection. The maximum conversation duration is 60 seconds (Figure 8).

5) CONNECTION OF DIP-01 TO MULTIPLE DOOR VILLAS :
Some VILLAs may have more than one door and it may be needed to talk/monitor and open the
doors.
NOTE 1 : If the VILLA has only one door, DIP-01 is connected to the door as INDOOR panel
as explained in section 3.
NOTE 2 : It is possible to connect up to 16 pieces of DIP-01 to a VILLA (including one
INDOOR panel).
NOTE 3 : Multitek IP intercom allows to connect up to 98 VILLA network with multiple
doors. If the VILLAs have only one door there is no limitation.

The door panels are programmed to the VILLA monitors as DOOR 1, DOOR 2, DOOR 3 etc and
INDOOR panel. This programming is done during the installation only one time. The device is
removed from the wall mount aparat as explained is section 3 to see the switches.
The followings is done one by one;
i) Assign a DIP-01 as indoor panel as explained in the section 3.
ii) Make all switches OFF. Assign a DIP-01 as outdoor panel as followings by using S5-
S8 switches’ON/OFF position according to the table given below:

iii) Bring S2 ON position. The button color turns to light blue color for about 3 minutes.
When the color becomes blue color the device is ready to operate. ( After that,
bring all switches to position OFF.)
iv) The same program is applied all DIP-01 panels connected to the doors.
6) USING DIP-01 AS THE VILLA DOOR PANELS:
a) Calling the VILLA monitor by touching the DIP-01 button :
DIP-01 has a touchmatic button with a blue color. When the button is touched the color of the
button turns to yellow momentarily.
When the button of DIP-01 is touched the matched MONITOR starts ringing and the MONITOR
screen shows the camera of the panel. By touching icon on the MONITOR the
conversation starts.
- Duration of conversation is 60 seconds. Touching icon on the monitor ends the
connection any time.
- If more then one monitor is connected in parallel, all monitors ring at the same time. When
the call is answered the answering monitor establishes the conversation and the others
stop ringing. Note: During ringing, only
the master monitor shows the video of the camera while the other monitors have calling
messages on the screen.
- While ringing or conversation, touching the key icon on the screen opens the door.
b) Monitoring DIP-01 camera installed as VILLA door panel :
When INTERCOM icon is touched on the menu page, a page with a keypad is opened. It is
possible to monitor the door panel cameras by dialing villa number (default 01) and then 8xx
(xx=01-15 door numbers) and touching call icon. For example, if you dial 01 803 and make call 3.
DIP-01 camera is monitored, talked and its door is opened.

IMPORTANT NOTE: While INTERCOM page is on the screen, if OTHER CALLS icon is touched
a page with DOOR1, DOOR2, DOOR3 icons appears. It is possible to monitor DOOR1, DOOR2,
DOOR3 door panels by just touching those icons. It is also possible to change the name and door
numbers of these icons through visiting SETUP/ SPEED CALL/ DOOR1, DOOR2, DOOR3. After
that, one touch on OTHER CALLS page brings the door cameras to the screen.

7) UPGRADING FIRMWARE OF DIP-01 BY AN SD CARD
The following steps are done:
i) Take out the ethernet cable of the device.
ii) Remove four screws and open the back lit and see the SD card holder.
iii) Insert the SD card with the latest firmware into SD card holder.
iv) Make all S1-S8 switches to ON position.
v) Then, insert the Ethernet cable to give the power to the device.
vi) Wait for 3 minutes. Then, again take out the Ethernet cable, make S1-S8 switches OFF,
take out SD card, place the lit back. Give the power again by inserting the Ethernet
cable. Three minutes later the device becomes ready to use.
vii) You program the device as explained in the section 3 as a indoor room panel.
