2. Optional: if necessary, insert SIM card in the SIM card slot. Ensure that the battery switch is off
and the powercable is NOT connected.
3. Flip the “Battery” switch the “ON” position. The LED indicators on the side should show activity
now.
4. Screw the lid back on. Attach the mounting plate and place the gateway on the required
location with the antenna facing down. Connect the 24v power supply, battery pack or a
solar panel. An empty NP2 will charge in 4 hours to around 90%.
LED Indicators
Network Uplink LED
GREEN: HSPA / LTE modem connection in use
ORANGE: Ethernet connection in use
1/8s blink: internet connection established
1/4s blink: connection to backoffice made
1/2s blink: backoffice services reachable
continuous: data is flowing to the backoffice
Sensor Network LED
GREEN: sensor network up and receiving data
ORANGE: sensor network up
RED: sensor network down
