2. General
ProX2 Server.Comes as a19" version. MYLAPSX2 Prois the most advanced data platform.The mainnew featureis 2-way
communication, which enables transmission of messages and status info from and to the racer. When a track has multiple
loops, the options of receiving and sending information become endless. With the MYLAPS software development kit you
are abletocreate fully customized applications.

2.2. Specifications
Connect the MYLAPS X2server to the AC mains power
supply. As the MYLAPS X2 server has no on/off button it
will start working immediately after power is applied. The
display in front will show an AC power supply icon
Connect the GPS antenna to the X2 Server to
synchronize the MYLAPS X2 server clock to UTC time.
When there is GPS reception the display will show a
satelliteicon with a received signal strength indication
Use a UTP cable toconnect the MYLAPS X2 Server toa
network on port 1 of theMYLAPSX2 Server. TheLEDs on
the connector will showif a physicalnetwork connection
isavailable.
By using a PoE+ network switch the MYLAPS X2 Server
can also be powered over this port. In this case the
display will show a PoE+ icon
When used together with the AC mains power supply-
supplyis disconnected thedisplay oftheMYLAPSX2
Server will show a blinking icon
Thenetworkport2 is for future use and will be available
from MYLAPS X2Server V2.0 and up.
Pressing the Reset button at the back panel of the X2
Server will set it to factory defaults. Network settings will
be setto DHCP and the admin login account password

The MYLAPS X2 Server willalwaysshut down when both the AC mains power supplyand the PoE+ power supply are
power source. The display will show <poweringdown>
Make sure your computer is configured to obtain an IP address automatically.
Check the display to see ifthe MYLAPS X2 Server obtained an IP address from a DHCP server.If this is the case, proceedto
<Start using the MYLAPS X2 Server>.
When there is no DHCP server available on the networkthe MYLAPS X2 Server will obtain a <local link> IP addressitself. In this case
the display will show an IPaddressin the 169.254.x.x range. This will occurfor example when the network port is connected directly
to a laptopviaa UTP cable.

3. Start using the MYLAPS X2 Server
Start aweb browser on a computer connected to the MYLAPS X2 Server. Browse to the IP address shown on the display of
the MYLAPSX2 Server. The X2 Manager start up pagewill open.
Install the MYLAPS X2Manageron yourcomputer byrunning the downloaded setupfile. Gothrough the setupprocessand run
the MYLAPS X2 Manager.
Open de X2 manager on your desktop, you see now your X2 Server in the overview.
Click on your <Server>
A login screen will appear. The factory default for the Username is <admin> and for the Password is also <admin>. When
logged in, new user accounts can be created in <X2 Server> <Users>
The MYLAPS X2 Server willautomatically discover the MYLAPSX2 Decodersthat are available on the network ifthe network allows
forBonjour zero configurationnetworking.Whenthe complete system setup isdone, close the System Setupwindowto havea
diagnosticsoverview of the completeMYLAPS X2 System. Start upyour applicationsthat areconnected to the MYLAPS X2 Server
and log in with your user account to start working. For detailed information, please checkthe MYLAPS X2 Manager manual.
