IMPORTANT
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read and follow all instructions
Before using this product, read carefully the
instruction manual.
Ozone is a powerful oxidizing agent.
Observe strict operating procedures while
using ozone equipment. It is imperative that
only ozone compatible materials are used
in conjunction with the ozone system. Do
not allow rain or condensation to contact
the Ozone Generator. The Ozone Generator
is not weather proof. The unit must be
operated indoors or in an enclosure in a non-
condensing environment.
Ozone is an extremely aggressive and
powerful oxidizer. The New Zealand national
environmental standard for ozone is 150 µg/
m3 (0.15PPM) as a 1-hour average. The
national ambient air quality guideline for
ozone is 100 µg/m3 (0.1PPM) as an 8-hour
average. Above 0.3 PPM, there is the risk of
damage to respiratory tissues.
People who have no sense of smell should
not operate this equipment.
Never attempt to verify ozone production
by directly breathing or smelling the ozone
outlet or the ozone-tubing outlet.
Do not cover the air inlet/outlets of the unit.
Improper ventilation will result in mechanical
failure.
Store and operate the ozone generator in a
cool and dry area.
Allow proper ventilation before entering a
room treated with ozone.
Because of the high concentration of ozone
produced by the ozone air purier, do not
use the unit in an occupied room where
people, pets and plants present. The ozone
air purier is designed to “shock treat”
rooms with strong odours and mould. After
operating the unit, make certain that the
room is well ventilated before reoccupying.
Ozone has “Half-Life” which means that
after the cycle has completed, in 20 minutes
half of the ozone would have dissipated. In
another 20 minutes another half of the ozone
would have dissipated and so on.
DO NOT enter the room being treated
until the designated time setting is done.
Make sure the room is properly ventilated
(for example. opening windows) once the
generator has nished.
Do not operate unit near heat sources, open
ame, or combustible vapours or gases.
Disconnect power cord before servicing.
The Ozone Generator contains high voltages.
Unauthorized entry can result in serious
injury or death. For service instructions,
contact Natural Ozone.
Make sure all tubing connections between
the Ozone Generator and the injection point
are secure and in good working condition.
Failure to do so could result in the discharge
of ozone into an undesired space.
Save these instructions!

To eliminate re risk it is required that a
qualied special grounding cable, reliable
grounding, and wire with enough capacity are
used. All staff must be trained in the correct

* Studies show that 99% of viruses and bacteria tested will be inactivated with an application of 223mg/ m³/
min. This means for example, 10 parts per million of ozone for 23 minutes. Natural Ozone cannot guarantee
the elimination of pathogens in any given room due to local variations. The recommendations here are to
bring the average room of that size up to above 10ppm. We recommend a treatment of 30min to 1 hour to
have the best chance of reducing the pathogen load. For odour reduction only, a smaller unit or shorter
treatment will be suitable.
