have developed a thorough understanding of how the solar post lamp works.

common sense and caution are factors which cannot be built into this product, but must be supplied by
the operator.

CARE AND PRECAUTIONS
•Do not modify the solar lamp in any way. Unauthorized modification may impair the function and/or
safety and could affect the life of the equipment. There are specific applications for which the solar lamp
was designed.
•Always check for damaged or worn out parts before using the solar lamp. Broken parts will affect the
solar lamp operation. Replace or repair damaged or worn parts immediately.
•Maintain your solar lamp. It is recommended that the general condition of any solar lamp post be
examined before it is used. Clean the solar module with a damp towel to insure optimum performance of
the solar lamp. Do not use any type of solvent for cleaning and be careful not to put too much pressure on
the module while cleaning.

ASSEMBLY
Lamp Assembly
1. (SEE FIGURE 1) Insert the LED circuit wires of the lantern assembly (A) though the center of the lock
spring (K) and lantern top (B). Thread the lantern top (B) to the assembly (A) and secure the top by
turning clockwise to tighten.
2. Connect the LED circuit wires (input wires) found on the top of the lantern body (C) to the LED circuit
wires (output wires) found on the bottom of the lantern top covers of the lantern assembly (A).
3. Attach the lantern body (C) to the lantern top cover on the lantern assembly (A) and using small screws
(L) two places.
Repeat with the other 2 lantern bodies (C).

Planter Base Assembly
Note: If using ground mounting instead of planter base mounting refer to “Ground Mounting”
1. (SEE FIGURE 2) Attach lamp post base (D) to bottom planter base (I) using hex bolts (N), mounting
plate (S),flat washer (Q), and hex nut(O).Make sure the mounting plate, flat washer and hex nut are
secured to the hex bolt on the underside of the bottom of planter base (I).
2. (SEE FIGURE 3) Attach the top planter base (H) to the bottom planter base (I) by lining up the 4 tabs
and pulling the top planter base up until tabs snap into place. Turn clockwise to lock the tabs into place.
Note: If may be necessary to put pressure on the bottom planter base when pulling the top planter base
up.

Support Ring Assembly
(SEE FIGURE 4) Attach the lower lamp post (G) to lamp post Base (D) using 1 in.screw (M) in 3 places.
Insert the support ring over the lower lamp post and slide into place until it rests inside the planter base
(H).

LAMP POST ASSEMBLY
1. (SEE FIGURE 5) Attach lower lamp post (G)
to lamp post base (D) using 1 in. Screw (M) in 3
places.
2. Place the completed lantern assembly (A) on
the upper lamp post (E) and twist clockwise to
secure. Note: if using the planter base to mount
the lamp-post refer Figure 4 before proceeding
to the next step.
3. Place the middle lamp-post (F) onto the lower
lamp post (G) and twist clockwise until
completely tightened.
4. Place the upper lamp-post (E) onto the middle
lamp post (F) and twist clockwise until
completely tightened.

CAUTION: To prevent product damage, and to prevent the product from tip-over, the planter base
must be placed on a flat level surface. Fill with a minimum of 40 lbs of gravel or stone.
INSTALLATION
ALTERNATE GROUND MOUNTING
Thread hex nut (O) onto the J-bolt (R). Make sure the Hex nut is threaded down the j-bolt far
enough for the top the j-bolt to fit through the mounting plate (S) and the lamp post base (D) with
enough threads to secure the base to the j-bolts with acorn nuts (P). Repeat the step for other j-
bolts.
Using the mounting plate (S) as a guide, insert the J-bolts with hex nuts into a wet concrete pad until
the hex nuts are below pad level.
Place the mounting plate (S) onto the j-bolts forming a mounting bracket.
Align the lamp post base (D) holes with the j-bolts and secure with the acorn nuts (P). Allow the
concrete to dry and set prior to installing the lamp post. (Figure 6)

REPLACING THE BATTERIES
NOTE: The battery in your solar lamp post come
preinstalled form the factory.
1. Remove screws from the underside of the
solar housing. Solar panel housing is located on
the top of the lantern assembly. (SEE FIGURE
7)
2. Carefully lift the solar panel off the housing.
Circuit wires are attached to the solar panel, be
careful not to disconnect the wires. Battery
compartment is located under the solar panel.
3. Remove the old battery.
4. Replace the old battery with one similar 18650
rechargeable type 3.7V Li-Ion battery. Reference
polarity direction inside battery compartment.
5. Replace the solar panel on the housing and
secure with screws retained from step 1.
6. The rechargeable battery needs to be fully
charged before operating light assembly. See

TROUBLESHOOTING
If your solar light does not turn ON at dusk despite observance of all the instructions, please try the
following steps:
1) Make sure the solar light is not being affected by any other light source; if this is the case move your solar light
to a location where there is less light interference.
2) Make sure the solar light is not located in any shade during the day.
3) Make sure the switch is either in the “HIGH” or “LOW” position.
4) If your solar light turns on during the day, usually the sensor needs to be reset. To do this, turn the light into the
OFF position and take it into a dark room. Switch to the ON position and once the light comes on, the sensor
has been reset.
LIMITED WARRANTY
Nature Power warrants our products to the original purchaser that this product is free from defects in materials and
workmanship for the period of one year from date of purchase. In the case of product defect, contact Nature Power
customer service to receive troubleshooting. If defective part or unit should be returned, a Return Authorization
Number must be issued by Nature Power and the defective part or unit should be returned to the authorized location
at the purchasers’ expense. A dated proof of purchase is required to receive warranty service. Once received at
authorized location and defect proves to be the result of defective material and workmanship, the defective part or
unit will be replaced at warrantors’ option and returned to the original purchaser at warrantors’ expense. No refunds
will be granted by the warrantor, in the event of buyer’s remorse please contact your point of purchase within and in
adherence to their return policy. Refunds are granted at the retailers’ discretions. Dated Proof of Purchase is
required.
