AMPLIFIER SIGNAL INPUT
USING 3RD PARTY SOURCE UNIT
When using any Navatlas amplified product, the Analog RCA input requires a
3Volt or greater pre-out from the source unit to maximize the volume
output. In developing our product, we have matched our amplifier’s preamp
secon to our Command Centers, radios, and Bluetooth controllers signal
output. In doing this, our product can be played at maximum volume without
clipping or distorng, in most cases.
When using our amplified product with 3rd party source unit,
there is a
limitaon of volume due to the radios output being a lower voltage, 2.5Volt
or lower. To solve this, there must be an RCA line driver between the source
unit and the amplifier. We recommend using the Navatlas LB5V Line Driver.
