Introduction
This is the handling instructions of the support kit for the fixed focus lens NP44ML.
This document describes how to attach the support kit and how to adjust it.
For USA:
About the procedures for mounting the lens unit, please refer to the projector User’s Manual.
For other countries:
To mount the lens unit and the support kit, consult your dealer.

CAUTION
• Afterinstallingthelensunit,besuretosecureittotheprojectorusingthesupportkit.Fail-
ure to do so could cause the lens unit to fall, resulting in injury.
• Powerotheprojectorandunplugthepowercordbeforeinstallingthelensunitandthe
support kit.

注意
• レンズユニットを取り付けた後は、必ずサポートキットを使ってレンズユニットをプロジェク
ター本体に固定してください。固定しないと、レンズユニットが落下して、けがの原因とな
りま す。
• レン ズ ユ ニットと サ ポ ート キット の 取 り 付 け は 、 プ ロ ジェクター の 電 源 を 切 り、 電 源 プ ラ グ
をコン セ ントか ら 抜 い た 状 態 で 行 ってくだ さ い 。

注意
• 安装镜头单元后，务必使用支撑套件将其固定到投影机上。 否 则可能 导 致 镜 头 单元 掉 落，
从而导致人身伤害。
• 在安装镜头单元及支撑套件之前，请关闭投影机电源并拔下电源线。
需要准备的事项
• 十字头螺丝刀
• 对于天花板安装或纵向位置，需要具有足够强度以支撑投影机、镜头单元和支撑套件总重量
的安装支架

Preparation
Return the projector lens position to the home position without the lens mounted.
Fordetailsonconnectingthepowercordandturningon/o,refertotheprojectorUser’sManual.
Connect the power cord to the projector, and then press the (POWER) button to turn on
the power.
Press and hold the ZOOM/L-CALIB button for 2 seconds or longer.
Afterthelensmovementisnished,pressandholdtheSHIFT/HOMEPOSITIONbuttonfor2
seconds or longer.
After the lens movement is finished, wait for 10 seconds or more and then press the (POW-
ER) button twice to turn off the power to the projector.
Remove the power cord from the projector.
準備
レンズユニットを取り付けていない状態で、プロジェクターのレンズ位置をホームポジ
ションに戻します。
電源コードの接続と電源入 /切について、詳しくはプロジェクターの取扱説明書をご覧く
ださい。
プロ ジェクター に 電 源 コ ード を接 続し 、 ボタンを押して電源を入れる。
[ZOOM/L-CALIB.] ボタンを 2秒 以 上 押 す。
レンズの動作終了後、[SHIFT/HOMEPOSITION]ボタンを 2 秒 以 上 押 す。
レンズの 動 作 終了後 10 秒以上待ってから、 ボタンを 2回 押してプ ロジェクターの 電 源を
切る。
プロジェクターから電源コードを取り外す。
准备工作
在不安装镜头的情况下将投影机镜头返回初始位置。
有关连接电源线和开启 /关闭的详细信息，请参阅投影机用户手册。
将电源线连接至投影机，然后按 （电源）键开启电源。
按住 ZOOM/L-CALIB 键2秒钟或更长时间。
镜头移动完成后，按住 SHIFT/HOMEPOSITION 键2秒钟或更长时间。
在镜头移动完成后，等待 10 秒或更长时间，然后按 （电源）键两次关闭投影机电源。
将电源线从投影机上取下。

How to install the support kit
1. Turn over the projector.
Lay down the projector cabinet upside down on a table with soft cloth laid. While doing this,
align the front of the projector with the end of the table.
CAUTION
• Formovingtheprojector,makesureyouhaveatleasttwopeople.Attemptingtomovethe
projector alone could result in back pain or other injuries.
サ ポ ート キット の 取 り 付 け 方
1. プ ロジェクター を 裏 返 す。
やわらかい布などを敷いた台の上に、プロジェクターを裏返して静かに置きます。このと
き、プロジェクターの前面を台の端に合わせてください。
注意
• 作業は 2人 以 上で 行 ってくだ さ い。 プ ロ ジェクターを 1人で 持 ち 上 げ た 場 合、 け が や 腰 痛
の 原 因 となること が ありま す。
如何安装支撑套件
1. 翻转投影机。
将投影机柜倒置在铺有软布的桌子上。 执行此操作时，将投影机的正面与桌子的末端对齐。
注意
• 移动投影机时，请确保至少由两个人进行操作。试图单独移动投影机可能会导致背部疼痛
或其他人身伤害。

2. Fix the adapter to the lens unit.
As describing on the illustration, put the adapter on the lens unit whose protrusions meet with
the screw holes on the adapter and fasten them by 2 screws (M4×10).
NOTE: Do not touch the glass on the lens unit.
2. レンズユニットにアダ プターを取り付 ける。
アダプターを図の向きにして、ネジ穴がレンズユニットの突起に合うように置き、ネジ（M4
×10）2本でしめ付けます。
注意 : 作業中は、レンズのガラス面に触れないでください。
2. 将适配器固定至镜头单元。
如图所示，将适配器放在镜头单元上，其突出部分与适配器上的螺孔相对接，并用两个螺钉
(M4×10) 将其固定。
注: 请勿触摸镜头部分上的玻璃。

3. Adjust the tilt of the lens unit.
Adjust the focus balance at the periphery of the projected image.
Fortableuse:Movethetiltlevertothe“+”position.
Forceilinguse:Movethetiltlevertothe“-“position.
Forotheruses:Movethetiltlevertothecenter(around“T”letter).
3. レンズユニットのチルト調整を行う
投写画面の周辺部分のフォーカスバランスを調整します。
テーブルに設置する場合：チルトレバーを＋の位置に合わせます。
天吊りで設置する場合：チルトレバーを−の位置に合わせます。
上記以外で設置する場合：チルトレバーを中央（Tの文字付近）に合わせます。
3. 调整镜头单元的倾斜度。
调整投影图像外围的聚焦平衡。
对 于 在 桌 上 使 用 ：将 倾 斜 杆 移 动 到“ +”位置。
对 于 在 天 花 板 上 使 用 ：将 倾 斜 杆 移 至“ - ”位置。
对于其他用途 ：将倾斜杆移动至中心（“T” 字 母 周 围 ）。

4. Mount the lens unit on the projector and adjust the lens position
According to the instructions on the projector manual, mount the lens unit onto the projec-
tor.
Connect the power cord to the projector and power it on.
PressandholdtheSHIFT/HOMEPOSITIONbuttonfor2secondsorlongertomovethelensto
the home position for NP44ML.
When the lens movement is finished, wait 10 seconds or longer before turning off the power
and removing the power cord.
4. プ ロジェクターにレンズ ユニットを取り付 け て、 レンズの 位 置を 合 わせる。
プロジェクターの設置説明書に従って、プロジェクターにレンズユニットを取り付ける。
プロジェクターに 電 源コード を接 続して、 電 源を入れる 。
[SHIFT/HOMEPOSITION]ボタンを 2秒 以 上 押 し て 、レ ン ズ の 位 置 を NP44ML のホームポジショ
ンに移動する。
レンズの 動 作 終了後 10 秒以 上経 過してから電源を切り、電源コードを取り外す。
4. 将镜头单元安装在投影机上，并调整镜头位置
根据投影机 用户手册 上的说明，将镜头单元安装到投影机上。
将电源线连接至投影机并开启电源。
按住SHIFT/HOMEPOSITION键2秒钟或更长时间，以便将镜头移动至 NP44ML 的初始位置。
镜头移动完成后，等待 10 秒钟或更长时间。 在此之后，关闭投影机并拔掉电源线。
