Y | S H E L F SERIES 200 INSTALLATOIN INSTRUCTIONS
Installation
•Determine the location where you would like to install the Series 200 Y | SHELF ™.
•Place the shelf at the desired location on the substrate and mark along the outer edges of the shelf in contact
with the wall while ensuring with a water level placed on the top rim that the shelf is level.
•Make an additional marking which is 1/2” above and parallel to the bottom marking. Place the included L
shaped hardware labelled L-Plate along this new marking.
•Using a water level ensure that the L-Plate is level. Make additional markings along the holes on the L-Plate.
Ensure that there are no plumbing pipes inside the wall behind markings.
•Drill a hole on these markings that is suitable for the wall anchor. Insert the wall anchor supplied with the
screws. Hold the L-Plate in place and secure it with the screws.
•Prepare the included Y | BOND™ by mixing the resin and hardener in equal parts.
•Spread the prepared Y | BOND™ resin and hardener along the top face of the L-Plate.
•Slide in the Series 200 Y | SHELF™ over the L-Plate. Place a weight (approx. 7 lbs) over each L-Plate and secure
the Series 200 Y | SHELF™ to the wall with tape.
Care & Maintenance
•Neelnox recommends 3M Stainless steel cleaners or a damp soft cloth, mild dishwashing soap and a
non abrasive sponge if required. Always clean along the direction of the grain. Do not use acid or
corrosive solutions, chloride solutions, abrasive pads or steel wool for cleaning.
