SUMMARY CLEANING &
TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
Please note that this summary cleaning guide shows a Nescafé Alegria 6/30 plumbed machine (excludes water tank).
If you have a Nescafé Alegria 6/30 Unplumbed machine, one of the canisters shown will be a water tank instead.

TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE

QUICK CLEANING GUIDE
START OF DAY
1. Turn on the machine. The power switch is located at the back of the machine above the power
input. The machine will warm up and after approx 5 minutes,
all lights will illuminate
2. Check the product canisters:
-Are they all full*?
-Are the powder chutes open? image to the right)
-Are they all in the correct position?
MILK & COFFEE CANISTERS/Powder Chute = Orange
CHOCOLATE/Powder Chute = Maroon
3. Flush the machine (simultaneously push buttons 4 and 8
as shown right) to ensure tubes are clean. You will need
to place a 0.5litre jug underneath the dispense head.
4. Empty the drip tray and clean with warm soapy water
if necessary
5. Wipe the front of the machine with a non abrasive cloth
* Product should not be kept in canisters for more than 7 days
END OF DAY
1. Flush the machine into a jug as per step 3 above
2. Disassemble the 3 dispensing heads (milk, coffee and chocolate)
as shown right (PTO for full description)
-Move clamp (A) to the left to remove the mixing blow
-Unclip the tube from the dispense head bracket (B)
3. Wash in mild soapy water and the rinse thoroughly
4. Replace the dispensing heads and tubes into the correct holes. Ensure when you
5. refit the whipper bowls that you move the clamp back to the right to lock back into place.
6. Flush the machine once more to ensure you have no leaks. If there are leaks, check the whipper
bowls are flat against the machine and locked with the clamps
7. Empty the drip tray and clean with warm soapy water if necessary
8. Turn off the machine. The power switch is located at the back of the machine.

QUICK CLEANING GUIDE
ONCE A MONTH
1. When removing the dispensing heads, take out the whipper blades/Impellers
and wash in mild soapy water before refitting. The whipper blades/impellers are
shown in the diagram below. These may still be attached to the motor shaft after
removal of the turbo chamber. Simply pull them off if this is the case.
2. Empty out the product canisters and give them a deep clean in hot soapy water.
3. Dry the product canisters thoroughly before refilling with product.
NOTE: the canisters MUST be completely dry before refilling
4. Wipe down the area behind the product canisters and the interior of the
machine with a lukewarm cloth.

EVERYDAY CLEANING IN MORE DETAIL
1. Open the front door.
2. Close powder chute and remove canister.
3. Move the clamp (A) to the right to unlock and
removed the mixing bowl (B) and water inlet (C) all
together.
4. Remove the steam trap (D).
5. Remove the impeller (E) from the whipper motor
shaft (F) if desired you may use the steam trap as a
lever. Remove the ‘O’-ring.
6. Clean and sanitise all parts - avoid using a
dishwasher for the impeller (E)
7. Rinse with clean water and dry completely before
reassembling
8. Additionally, before reassembling, wash and
sanitise the whipper motor shaft (F) and area with
hot water.
Please Note
Ensure the following when reassembling the mixing bowl:
1. Correct alignment of impeller and whipper motor shaft
2. Correct alignment of motor housing and mixing bowl with
clamp
