Your NeutronicEar Elite comes assembled with a 2.5” Sound tube and Med So p.
An Addi onal Sound tubes and numerous So ps are provided for a custom fi t.

Increase the volume by turning the clockwise (towards
Red dot, Fig A). Decrease volume by turning the dial counter-
clockwise(towards Blue dot, Fig B) Adjust the volume so the sound
is clear, but not loud. For best results, make very small adjustments
when se ng volume. A small adjustment will make a big diff erence
in volume and clarity.
A er placing the So p of the unit in your ear, select the
that best fi ts the environment you are in (Fig B).
Your NeutronicEar Elite comes with 2 listening se ngs. The unit
automa cally goes into normal listening se ng when the ba ery
door is closed. If you are in a noisy situa on push the bu on and
the unit will beep twice as it switches to fi lter the sounds.

1. Grasp the rigid “Elbow” of the Sound Tube with your thumb and
index fi nger. (Fig D)
Right hand for Right side, Le hand for Le side.
2. Place So Tip in your ear canal and gently push on the “Elbow”
un l the So Tip is all the way into your ear canal. Your ear canal
curves towards the p of your nose. Your So Tip must be pushed
past that curve for a proper fi t. (Fig E)
3. Using the Index fi nger of your other hand, hold “Elbow” in place.
4. Loop the Sound Tube over your ear. Form appropriately so the
unit fi ts snuggly behind your ear. (Fig F)
5. To remove the unit, grasp the rigid “Elbow” end with your thumb
and Index fi nger. Pull the “Elbow” out of your ear canal. Do Not grab
unit from behind the ear and pull. This can damage the unit.
Elbow length is designed to safely control the distance between the
So Tip and your eardrum to eliminate any chance of damage.

To remove the unit, grasp the rigid “Elbow” end with your thumb
and Index fi nger. Pull the “Elbow” out of your ear canal. Do Not grab

To save Ba ery life, we suggest that you turn off the unit
by opening the Ba ery door when not in use. Unit will
con nually Beep when Ba ery power is low.
To get the maximum performance and sound
quality we suggest using only *NeutronicEar Ba eries. Off -
brand ba eries may vary in size by a millimeter and may not fi t
or perform correctly. Pulling off the orange plas c tab ac vates
the ba ery. Do not pull off the tab un l ready for use.

With your fi ngernail, gently pull up on
the Ba ery door (Fig A). Do not pull up the side with the Volume
dial. With the orange tab of the size 13 ba ery facing you, insert
ba ery with rounded edge poin ng into the ba ery slot (Fig B).
Ba ery door will not close if ba ery is inserted incorrectly. Peel
off tab from ba ery, wait 60 seconds, and close door to turn
unit On. Unit will Beep con nually when New ba ery is needed.
*NeutronicEar Ba eries are guaranteed to have a 3 year shelf life.

Use a so cloth to wipe the unit a er use to remove any par cles or
moisture. *So Tips and *Sound Tubes are designed to be reusable
though it is suggested to replace every 3 months.
*Ask about our Tips & Tubes Club.
1. To remove Sound Tube, unscrew counterclockwise. To a ach Sound
Tube, screw on clockwise. Please ensure Sound Tube is screwed on
completely. (Fig J)
2. A er removing So Tips, simply clean exterior with warm soapy
water and a small cloth. Dry thoroughly before reinser ng in ear.(You
must make sure there is no moisture in the Sound Tube, as it will block
sound)
3. Use the cleaning tool brush and wax pick at the bo om of its handle
to remove any accumulated wax or debris from around the So Tip
and Sound Tube. (Fig K)
4. To remove or switch So Tips, grasp the rigid “Elbow” on the end of
the Sound Tube and fi rmly pull the So Tip off . Firmly push on the So
Tip of your choice. (Fig L)

Here is some important informa on to assure you get the best performance from
your NeutronicEar Elite for years to come.
• Remove Sound Tube and So Tip from unit prior to cleaning.
• Clean your So Tips daily with warm soapy water and a small cloth.
• Replace Sound Tubes when wax appears lodged inside.
• Moisture of ANY KIND will damage the complex circuitry of the unit.
• Do not use any cleaning fl uids of any kind.
• Do not go to bed with unit in your ear.
•Turn unit off when not in use to save power.
• Do not use any appliance to dry or clean.
• Be sure to keep your unit away from any kind of excessive heat.

•Feedback can occur due to an improper fi t. The So ps which are on the end
of the “Elbow”, are designed to conform and fi t most ear canals. We have provided
you with an assortment of sizes of Tubes and So ps to customize your fi t.
• Make sure that the So p, at the end of the rigid “Elbow”, is fully inserted
inside the ear canal, seated properly, and free of debris and ear wax.
• If your unit sits too high on your ear, you may experience feedback due to
amplifi ed sound escaping and re-amplifying through the unit. This can be easily
rec fi ed with a longer Sound tube which will allow your unit to sit lower behind
your ear. We have provided a longer tube to customize your fi t.
• Addi onal So ps and Sound tubes may be purchased through your Customer
Care Specialist or on-line at www.neutronicear.com
• Palm test the unit to check ba ery (see page 1).
• Visually Inspect that the Sound Tube and So Tip are clean. Use your cleaning
tool brush if needed.
• Check to ensure the Microphone Screen is clean.
