Please become familiar with the following
NeutronicEar Rechargeable features.
* Your NeutronicEar Rechargeable comes already assembled with a Sound Tube
and So Tip.
* An Addi onal Sound Tube and numerous So Tips are provided for a custom fi t. 1
Palm Test

*Turn Volume Wheel
down to 2.

Volume Control: Roll Volume Wheel UP to Power On, all the
way DOWN to Power Off . Adjust volume to desired level. (Fig A)
Rechargeable Power Pack: This unit is designed to last up to
28 hours fully charged and comes with one Power Pack fully
charged on the unit. To save energy we suggest that you turn off
the unit when not in use.
Replacing Power Pack: Remove used Power Pack from unit
and remove charged Power Pack from Charging Sta on. Gently
a ach Power Pack to the bo om of the unit matching up the
Red dot of the Power Pack to the Red dot of the unit. (Power
Pack only fi ts one way) (Fig B)
A er placing the So Tip of the unit in
your ear, select the program level that best fi ts environment
you are in. Volume may need to be adjusted with any program
change (Fig C)
1 Beep - Wide Range (Enhances All Frequencies)
2 Beeps - Mild Noise Suppression (Restaurant, mee ngs, etc.)
3 Beeps - Maximum Noise Suppression (Noisy Environments)
*Unit defaults to program 1 when restarted.

Rechargeable Power Pack is charged.
1. Grasp the rigid “Elbow” of the Sound Tube with your thumb
and Index fi nger. (Fig D) Right hand for Right side, Le hand for
Le side.
2. Place So Tip in your ear canal and gently push on the “Elbow”
un l the So Tip is all the way into your ear canal. Your ear canal
curves towards your nose. Your So Tip must be pushed past
that curve for a proper fi t. (Fig E)
3. Using the Index fi nger of your other hand, hold “Elbow” in
place.
4. Loop the Sound Tube over your ear. Form appropriately so the
unit fi ts snuggly behind your ear. (Fig F)
5. To remove the unit, grasp the rigid “Elbow” end with your
thumb and Index fi nger. Pull the “Elbow” out of your ear canal.
Do Not grab unit from behind the ear and pull. This can damage
the unit.
*Elbow length is designed to safely control the distance between
the So Tip and your eardrum to eliminate any chance of damage.

Charging Sta on allows for charging up to 2 Power
Packs. If completely drained each Power Pack requires
4 to 6 hours to charge. Each unit comes with 1 Power
Pack on the unit and 1 Power Pack in the Charging
Sta on.
1. To charge Power Pack, connect Plug to Charging
Sta on . Plug into AC adapter and plug AC
adapter into any standard wall outlet.

2. Place Power Pack in one of two charging loca ons
Red dot up. (Fig I)
3. Close the Charging Sta on lid to start charging
the Power Pack.
4. Flashing Red light indicates that the Power Pack is
charging.
5. indicates when the Power Pack
is fully charged.
*Charging Sta on may stay plugged in. There is NO WAY to overcharge Power Packs.

Use a so cloth to wipe the unit a er use to remove any par cles
or moisture. So Tips and Sound Tubes are designed to be
reusable though it is suggested to replace every 3 months.
*Ask about our Tips & Tubes Club.
1. To remove Sound Tube, unscrew counterclockwise. To a ach
Sound Tube, screw on clockwise. Please ensure Sound Tube is
screwed on completely. (Fig J)
2. A er removing So Tips and/or Sound Tubes, simply clean
exterior with warm soapy water and a small cloth. Dry thoroughly
before reinser ng in ear.(You must make sure there is no moisture
in the Sound Tube, as it will block sound)
3. Use the cleaning tool brush and wax pick at the bo om of its
handle to remove any accumulated wax or debris from around
the So Tip and Sound Tube. (Fig K)
4. To remove or switch So Tips, grasp the rigid “Elbow” on the
end of the Sound Tube and gently pull the So Tip off . Firmly push
on the So Tip of your choice. (Fig L)

Here is some important informa on to assure you get the best performance from
your NeutronicEar Rechargeable for years to come.
• Remove Sound Tube and So Tip from unit prior to cleaning.
• Clean your So Tips daily with warm soapy water and a small cloth.
• Replace Sound Tubes when wax appears lodged inside.
•Moisture of ANY KIND will damage the complex circuitry of the unit.
• Do not use any cleaning fl uids of any kind.
• Do not go to bed with unit on your ear.
•Turn unit off when not in use to save power.
• Do not use any appliance to dry or clean.
•Be sure to keep your unit away from any kind of excessive heat.
• Ask about our Tips and Tubes Club.

•Feedback can occur due to an improper fi t. The So Tips which are on the end
of the “Elbow” are designed to conform to fi t most ear canals. We have provided
you with an assortment of sizes to customize your fi t.
• Make sure that the So Tip, at the end of the rigid “Elbow”, is fully inserted
inside the ear canal, seated properly, and free of debris and ear wax.
• If your unit sits too high on your ear, you may experience feedback due to
amplifi ed sound escaping and re-amplifying through the unit. This can be easily
rec fi ed with a longer Sound Tube which will allow your unit to sit lower behind
your ear. We have provided a longer tube to customize your fi t.
• Addi onal So Tips and Sound Tubes may be purchased through your Customer
Care Specialist or on-line at www.neutronicear.com
• Make sure the unit is turned on by spinning the Volume Wheel up to #4.
• Make sure the Power Pack is charged. If in doubt put Power Pack in Charging
Sta on, Red dot up, un l Charging Sta on lights .
• Visually Inspect that the Sound Tube and So Tip are clean. Use your cleaning
tool if needed.
• Check to ensure the Microphone Screen is clean.
