Newham London Roger Touchscreen Mic User manual

You have recently been given a Roger Touchscreen
Mic transmitter to assist a pupil in your class with
a hearing impairment.
What is it?
The transmitter is an easy to use device which
connects to the receiver (worn by the pupil; either
connected to their hearing aid or via a Roger
MyLink).
Wearing:
The Roger Touchscreen Mic transmitter can be
attached to clothing and should be approximately
20cm away from your mouth. Please be mindful of
jewelry or any other objects in that region that could
cause conflicting sounds.
Layout:
How to use
Hold the on/off button to turn the device on and off..
The Roger Touchscreen Microphone will already be synced to
the receiver/MyLink. Should there be any issues, Position the
microphone within 10cm of the receiver/MyLink and press
‘connect on the touchscreen device. This should connect the
devices. A message should appear on screen as well as a beep
for the user
The mute button (big round button towards the bottom of the
device) allows you to turn the microphone off when talking to
other pupils. Pressing the button again will turn the micro-
phone back on.
To lock the device simply press the on/off button once. This
works in exactly the same way as locking your phone.
