Three Button Design
The up or down buttons are used to
increase or decrease the menu selections or
to increase or decrease the setting within
each menu. The center button is used to
select a menu option or setting within each
menu.
The Menu of Settings
The OT-300 includes a menu of settings to program each receiver that include:

•Signal Field Width – variable settings from 0 to 32 feet
•Receiver Sensitivity – used to help match receivers to a boundary
•Frequency (10) – four settings to help avoid interference from
neighboring systems or ground loops
•Warning time (20) – four settings to fix the time prior to the correction
•Correction Modes (30) – choose from four standard levels or three
progressive levels to customize a correction that is right for each pet
•Duration (40) – (for progressive correction levels) – four settings to
adjust the time between progressing corrections
•Power Cycling (50) – two settings
•Modulation Frequency (60) – six different frequencies to mimic
competing pet containment systems
•Stopper Mode (70) – four settings to adjust the amount of time before
correction stops
•GentelSteps™ (80) – nine levels of correction for a slow and gentle
approach to learning new boundaries

Programming Instructions
Step 1 – Press and hold the center button until the display begins to flash and then
release the button. You will see periods after each number
Step 2 – Using the up or down buttons, scroll through to the desired setting and
then use the center button to enter your selection. The number in the display will
flash once confirming your setting. After 20 seconds the transmitter will return to
normal operation with your new setting.
Step 1 – Select The Settings to Program
a) Press and hold both up and down buttons until the display reads “10”
(The Transmitter is now in Programming Mode)
b) Use the enter button (the center button) to enter the series to be modified
c) Using either the up and down buttons, scroll through the menu and then use
the center button to modify any setting you desire. (Once modified the display
will automatically advance to the next setting option)
You can choose to skip over any series by pressing the either the top or bottom
button when not inside a series
Step 2 – Confirm the Settings to be Programmed
After making your selection advance to function ‘90’. You can view all the
settings by pressing the center button and then scrolling through the selections
using either the top or bottom button. No programming is occurring at this stage.
Step 3 – Program The Receiver
1. While the receiver over the small loop, press the center button. The display
will show ‘99’9 and begin to flash. At this point the receiver light will come on
indication that the receiver is ready to receive programming. Note: Should
the receiver sound a solid tone it means that the receiver did not detect
signal correctly. When the tone stops, repeat step 1.
2. Press the center button again. ’99 stops flashing and the code begin to
transmit to the receiver. While this is occurring, the receiver will begin to
beep and the light flash in a pattern corresponding with your selections. For
example, a setting of 7K will beep once followed by three flashes.
3. Once programming is complete the transmitter returns to ‘99’ and is ready to
program another receiver. To return the transmitter to normal operation,
press and hold the bottom button for 3 seconds or simply unplug the
transmitter for 5 seconds. Alternatively, by doing nothing the transmitter will
return to normal operation after 20 seconds.

Step 1 – Press and hold the center button until the display flashes and reads “98”
then release the button.
(The Transmitter is now in Programming Mode)
Step 2 – With the display flashing the number “98” place the receiver to within 2 –
6 inches of the transmitter. When the receiver is in place the low battery light will
activate.
Step 3 – While the receiver’s low battery light activated use the up or down
buttons to advance or decrease the setting. The receiver will beep twice and the
low battery light will blink a specific number of times to correspond to the
selected setting. If this is the setting you desire then press the center button to
set the level.
(For example if training level 5 is selected the receiver will blink 5 times)
Note: You can only advance or decrease the setting one level at a time. After
making an adjustment the display will stop blinking for 2 seconds and then begin
to blink again. Once the display begins to blink another adjustment can be made.
Step 1 – Press and hold the center button until the display flashes and reads “97”
(The display will flash and first show “98”. Continuing holding down the button
until the display advances to the number “97”)
Step 2 – With the display flashing the number “97” place the receiver to within 2 –
6 inches of the transmitter. When the receiver is in place the low battery light will
activate.
Step 3 – While the receiver’s low battery light activated use the up or down
buttons to advance or decrease the setting. The receiver will beep twice and the
low battery light will blink a specific number of times that corresponds to the
selected setting. If this is the setting you desire then press the center button to
set the level.
Note: You can only advance or decrease the setting one level at a time. After

to blink again. Once the display begins to blink another adjustment can be made.
