5. The pointed end of the probe is inserted into the middle of the item being cooked and the other
end is then plugged into the Thermometer/Timer.
COOKING SETTING
1. Turn on the power to ON.
2. Switch onto COOK mode.
3. Press "M|M" to select style item to cook, each press advances to the next style of item to cook:
Beef Pork Chick Turkey Veal Lamb Ham Fish Progm (Progm allows you to set your own
temperature see section 5 below).
4. Press "M|M" to select taste. Each press of the "M|M" button in the Beef Veal or Lamb mode
advances to a different cooking taste. In the settings Pork, Chick, Turkey, Ham, Fish, the
temperature defaults to a properly cooked temperature.
5. Press "S|S" for the ALERT/COOKED alarm to be ON/OFF.
6. Press and hold "S|S" for 2 seconds to switch between °C/°F.
PROGRAMING (PROGM) MODE
1. In the PROGM mode press and hold "S|S" for seconds, the temperature will flash, then use
"M|M" and "S|T" to set alert temperature higher or lower. Press "S|S" to save this new alert
temperature you can now use this new alert temperature.
2. In any other setting you can also override the preset temperature by using the same procedure as
above. The temperature will revert back to the original preset temperature once turned off and
back on again.
TIMER SETTING
1. Turn on the power to ON.
2. Switch onto TIMER mode.
3. Press "M|M" to adjust Minute.
4. Press "S|T" to adjust second.
5. Press "S|S" to start or stop countdown timer.
6. Press and hold BOTH "M|M" "S|T" to reset countdown timer to 0.00.
IMPORTANT
1. Keep the probe away from water, it is NOT WATERPROOF and it will fail if it gets water in the
join between the stainless steel wire and the probe Clean only with a damp cloth and/ or brush.
2. Please keep the probe and stainless steel wire away from direct heat (naked flame or element), it
is certified for 472°F air temperature.
3. Please always ensure you have the probe in the middle of the thickest part of the item being
cooked. You can (once the alarm has sounded) reinsert the probe into a few other parts of what is
being cooked to double check the entire item is at the required cooked temperature.
4. Never use the thermometer in a closed oven.
5. Clean the sensor thoroughly after every use.
6. In order to save energy, please take out the battery after use.
