IMPORTANT SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical products, basic precautions should always be
followed including the following:
a) READ AND FOLLOW ALL
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
b) Do not use seasonal products outdoors unless marked suitable for
indoor and outdoor use. When products are used in outdoor
applications, connect the product to a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupting
(GFCI) outlet. If one is not provided, contact a qualified electrician for
proper installation.
c) This seasonal use product is not intended for permanent installation
or use.
d) Do not mount or place near gas or electric heaters, fireplaces,
candles or other similar sources of heat.
e) Do not secure the wiring of the product with staples or nails, or place
on sharp hooks or nails.
f) Do not let lamps rest on the supply cord or on any wire.
g) Unplug the product when leaving the house, when retiring for the
night, or if left unattended.
h) This is an electric product-not a toy! To avoid risk of fire, burns,
personal injury and electric shock it should not be played with or placed
where small children can reach it.
i) Do not use this product for other than its intended use.
j) Do not hang ornaments or other objects from cord, wire, or light string.
k) Do not close doors or windows on the product or extension cords as
this may damage the wire insulation.
l) Do not cover the product with cloth, paper or any material not part of
the product when in use.
m)This product is equipped with push-in type lamps. Do not twist lamps.
n) This product employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse
indicates an overload or short –circuit situation. If the fuse blows,
unplug the product from the outlet. Also unplug any additional strings
or products that may be attached to the product. Replace the fuse as
per the user servicing instructions (follow product marking for proper
fuse rating) and check the product. If the replacement fuse blows, a
short-circuit may be present and the product should be discarded.
o) Read and follow all instructions that are on the product or provided
with the product.

USE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS
a) When the product is placed on a live tree, the tree should be well
maintained and fresh. Do not place on live trees in which the needles
are brown or break off easily. Keep the tree holder filled with water.
b) If the product is placed on a tree, the tree should be well secured and
stable.
c) Before using or reusing, inspect product carefully. Discard any
products that have cut, damaged, or frayed wire insulation or cords,
cracks in the lampholders or enclosures, loose connections, or
exposed copper wire.
d) When storing the product, carefully remove the product from wherever
it is placed, including tree, branches, or bushes, to avoid any undue
strain or stress on the product conductors, connections, and wires.
e) When not in use, store neatly in a cool, dry location protected from
sunlight.
USER SERVICING INSTRUCTIONS
Replace the fuse.
a) Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device.
Do not unplug by pulling on cord.
b) Using a flathead screwdriver, open fuse cover. Slide open the fuse
access cover on top of attachment plug towards blades.
c) Remove fuses carefully.
d) Risk of fire. Replace fuse only with 3 Amp,
125 Volt fuse (provided with product).
e) Close fuse cover. Slide closed the fuse
access cover on top of attachment plug.
f ) Risk of fire. Do not replace attachment plug. Contains a safety
device (fuse) that should not be removed. Discard product if the
attachment plug is damaged.

Replace the lamp.
Step 1: Grasp plug and remove from the
receptacle or other outlet device.
Do not unplug by pulling cord.
Step 2: Pull lamp and plastic base straight
outoflampholder.
Step 3: Replace lamp with only 3.3 Volt, 0.066 Watt, LED type lamp
(provided with product).
If the new lamp base does not fit in lampholder, follow the steps below step 3.
a) Remove the base of burned out lamp by straightening lamp leads and
gently pull lamp out.
b) Thread leads of new lamp through holes in old base with one lead in
each hole.
c) After lamp is fully inserted into base, bend each lead up, like other
lamps in the light set so that the leads will touch the contacts inside
the lampholder.
CAUTION: 1.This lighting string is rated 21.6 Watts ( 0.18
Amps),do not overload. Connect other lighting strings or decorative outfits
end-to end up to a maximum of 216 Watts (1.8 Amps) total.
lf connecting to a lighting string that does not have a Wattage (W) rating
{found on the tag within 6 inches of the plug} calculate the wattage as follows:
Multiply the current(_____A) which is on the flag-type tag by 120.
For Example: Lighting string is rated 120V, 60 Hz, 0.2 Amps.
0.2×120=24 Watts
Add the wattage of each light string together for a total of 216 Watts
or less. (Do not exceed 216 Watts.)
2. a) replace lamps only with3.3 volt, 0.066 watt spare lamps provided
with product. b) Risk of fire. This product does not contain lamp shunts,
which allow the product to operate if one lamp burns out. Do not replace
lamps with other than the spare lamps provided with this product. c) DO
NOT OPERATE WITH BULBS MISSING FROM SOCKETS. MISSING
BULBS SHOULD BE REPLACED PROMPTLY.

(2) this device must accept any interference received, including
interference that may cause undesired operation.

for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These

interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses

accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio
communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not

TROUBLE SHOOTING
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE CORRECTIVE ACTION
If the
product
does not
light
One or more of the
based LEDs may have
loosened from the
socket during
transporting. There is a
break in the circuit
between the LED leads
and the socket
terminals. Fuse(s) may
have moved.
Unplug the set at the outlet.

remove each based LED and

Cuando se usan productos eléctricos se deben seguir siempre

existir, comuníquese con un electricista calificado para su instalación
adecuada.
c) Este producto de temporada no está concebido para la instalación ni el

g) Desenchufe el producto al salir de la casa, cuando se retire a dormir o
si lo deja desatendido.
h) ¡Este es un producto eléctrico – no un juguete! Para evitar riesgos de
incendios, quemaduras, lesiones personales y descargas eléctricas, no
se debe jugar con él ni colocar al alcance de los niños pequeños.
i) No use este producto para ningún otro propósito que no sea para el que
está destinado.
j) No cuelgue adornos ni ningún otro objeto del cable, los alambres o de la
serie de lunes.
k) No cierre puertas ni ventanas sobre el producto o la extensión eléctrica
pues esto podría dañar el aislamiento de los alambres.
l) No cubra el producto con paños, papeles ni ningún otro material que no
sea parte del mismo cuando esté en uso.
m) Este producto está equipado con focos de presión. No enrosque los focos.
n) Este producto emplea protección contra sobrecargas (fusible). Un fusible
quemado indica una situación de sobrecarga o cortocircuito. Si el fusible
se quema, desenchufe el producto del tomacorriente. Desenchufe
también cualquier línea adicional o producto conectado a este producto.
Reemplace el fusible según las instrucciones de servicio para el usuario
(respete la calificación del fusible indicada en el mismo) y revise el
producto. Si el fusible de
reemplazo se quema, puede haber haber un cortocircuito y el producto
debe ser desechado.
o) Lea y siga todas las instrucciones que aparecen en el producto o que
se incluyen con el mismo.

CONSERVE ESTAS

INSTRUCCIONES DE USO Y CUIDADO
a) Cuando coloque el producto en un árbol vivo, el árbol debe estar bien
conservado y fresco. No lo coloque en árboles vivos cuyas agujas tengan
un color marrón o se rompan fácilmente. Mantenga el recipiente del árbol
lleno de agua.
b) Si el producto se coloca sobre un árbol, dicho árbol debe estar bien fijo
y estable.
c) Antes de usar o reusar, inspeccione el producto cuidadosamente.
Deseche todo producto que tenga cables o alambres cortados, dañados
o con el aislamiento raído, grietas en los portalámparas o soportes,
conexiones sueltas o alambres de cobre expuestos.
d) Cuando vaya a guardar el producto, retírelo con cuidado de donde se
haya colocado, ya sean ramas de árboles o arbustos, para evitar
cualquier tensión excesiva en los conductores, conexiones y alambres
del producto.
e) Cuando no esté en uso, guárdelo de manera organizada en un lugar
seco, fresco y protegido de la luz solar.
INSTRUCCIONES DE SERVICIO PARA EL USUARIO
Reemplazo del fusible:
a) Tome el enchufe y retírelo del tomacorriente o de la toma del otro
aparato. No jale el cable para desenchufarlo.
b) Usando un destornillador plano, abra la cubierta de los fusibles. Abra
la cubierta de acceso a los fusibles ubicada en la parte superior del
enchufe deslizándola hacia las patas
c) Retire los fusibles con cuidado.
d) Riesgo de incendio. Reemplace el fusible sólo con
un fusible de 3 Amperes y 125 Volts (se incluye con
el producto).
e) Cierre la cubierta de los fusibles. Deslícela sobre el
enchufe para cerrarla.
f) Riesgo de incendio. No reemplace el enchufe. Este contiene un
dispositivo de seguridad (fusible) que no se debe retirar. Deseche
el producto si el enchufe está dañado.

Reemplazo de los focos:
Paso 1: Tome el enchufe y retírelo del
tomacorriente o de la toma del
otro aparato. No jale el cable
para desenchufarlo.
Paso 2:Jale el foco y la base Plástica
hacia afuera del portalámpara.
Paso 3:Reemplace el foco con focos LED de 3,3 Volts y 0,066 Watts
solamente (se incluye con el producto).
Si la base del foco nuevo no entra en el portalámpara, siga los pasos
siguientes al paso 3.
a) Retire la base del foco quemado estirando los conductores del foco y
jalándolo suavemente hacia afuera.
b) Inserte los conductores del foco nuevo a través de los orificios de la base
vieja, uno por cada orificio.
c) Después de insertarlo completamente en la base, doble cada conductor
hacia arriba, como los de los otros focos del juego para que los
conductores toquen los contactos en el interior del portalámpara.
PRECAUCIÓN: 1. Este juego de luces está calificado
para 21.6 Watts ( 0.18 Amperes), no lo sobrecargue. Conecte otros
juegos de luces o aparatos decorativos de punta a punta hasta un
máximo de 216 Walts (1,8 Amperes) en total. Si se conecta a un juego de
luces que no tenga la calificación de vataje (W) {se encuentra en la etiqueta
ubicada a unos 15 cm del enchufe}, calcule el vataje de la siguiente manera:
Multiplique la corriente (__A) referida en la etiqueta por 120. Por
ejemplo: El juego de luces está calificado para 120V, 60 Hz, 0,2A.
0,2 x 120 = 24 Watts Sume el vataje de cada juego de luces hasta
obtener un total de 216 Watts o menos. (No exceda los 216 Watts).
2. a) Reemplace solo con focos de repuesto de 3,3 Volts, 0,066 Watts
que se incluyen con el producto. b) Riesgo de incendio. Este producto
no contiene focos que permitan que el producto funcione si un foco se
quema. Sólo reemplace las focos con los focos de repuesto incluidos
con este producto. c) NO UTLICE EL PRODUCTO SI LE FALTAN
FOCOS. LOS FOCOS FUNDIDOS DEBEN SUSTITUIRSE
INMEDIATAMENTE.
Este dispositivo cumple con la Parte 15 de las reglas FCC. El

SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS

Si el
producto no
enciende Uno o más LED con
base pueden haberse
soltado del
portalámpara durante el
transporte. Hay una
interrupción en el
circuito entre los
conductores del LED y
los terminales del
portalámpara. Los
