Disassembly
Note : ① Be sure to remove the SD memory card and batteries before disassembly.
② When disassembling, make sure to memorize the processing state of wires,
screws to be xed and their types, etc.
③ Because electrical parts are easily damaged by static electricity, make sure
that you are well earthed/grounded.






・Lead-free solder is used for this product.
・For soldering work, the special solder and soldering iron are required.
・Do NOT mix up lead-free solder with traditional solder.
・Use the special soldering iron respectively for lead-free solder and lead solder.
They cannot be used in common.

Rear cover
・ Open the cover ( ①).
・ Take out 2 screws ( ②: M1.7×5).
・ Take out 2 screws ( ③: M1.7×4.5).
・ Take out 2 screws ( ④: M1.7×4).
・ Open the SD card cover side of the rear cover and unhook it as pushing its top by your nger. (Fig. 1)
・ Uncover the rear cover by pulling it slowly backwards, and detach the FPC ( ⑤) from the connector. (Fig. 2)
・ The shaft strap ( ⑥) comes off.

・ Remove the lead wire (black: ①) and lead wire (red: ②).
・ Remove the FPC ( ③).
・ Take out 3 screws ( ④: M1.7×4).
・ Remove the front cover by pulling it forwards.
・ The stand (tripod: ⑤) comes off.



・ Take out 2 screws ( ①: M1.7×2.5), and remove the battery terminal ( ②).
・ The battery cap ( ③), battery terminal ( ④) and battery knob ( ⑤) come off.
・ Remove the battery cover shaft ( ⑥) and uncover the battery cover.

・ Take out 2 screws ( ⑦: M1.7×3), and remove the battery holder.
・ Take out 2 screws ( ⑧: M1.7×2.5).
・ Remove the lead wire (black: ⑨) and detach the terminal ( ⑩).
・ Remove the lead wire (red: ⑪) and detach the terminal ( ⑫).
・ Take out 2 screws ( ⑬: M1.7×3) and remove the control release.

・ Remove the FPC ( ①).
・ Remove the lead wires (white: ② and red: ③). (Fig. 1)
・ Remove the LCD.
Holder monitor
・ Take out 2 screws ( ④: M1.7×4).
・ Take out the screw ( ⑤: M1.7×2.5).
・ The holder monitor comes off.

・ Take out the screw ( ⑥: M1.7×3).
・ The spring plate A comes off.
Holder microphone
・ Remove the lead wires (red: ⑦ and black: ⑧).
・ Remove the lead wires (white: ⑨ and black ⑩).
・ The holder microphone comes off.

・ Take out the screw ( ⑪: M1.7×4).
・ Remove the lead wires (black: ⑫, gray: ⑬ and red: ⑭).
・ The holder ash comes off.

・ Take out the screw ( ①: M1.7 ×3).
・ Remove the FPC ( ②).
・ Take out 2 screws ( ③: M1.7 ×6).
・ The lens assembly comes off.
・ The spacer ( ④), LPF ( ⑤) and spacer ( ⑥) come off.
・ Remove the lead wires (gray: ⑦ and white: ⑧).
・ Remove the spacer LCD ex ( ⑨).
・ Take out the screw ( ⑩: M1.7 ×3).
・ Remove the holder AF ( ⑪).
・ TB1-PCB comes off.
・ Unsolder the CCD ( ⑫) and disassemble the CCD and CP1-PCB.







・ Take out 2 screws ( ①).
・ Remove the nder unit by lifting it in the direction indicated by the arrow.

Note : All of the FFD adjustment tools are not prepared yet. The lens-barrel can be
disassembled and assembled. However, each of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd lens group units
(lens) cannot be replaced with a new one.

Separate Zoom motor unit.
・ Unsolder the FPC unit.
・ Take out the screw ( ①: M1.4 × 2.5).
・ Remove the photo interrupter FPC.
・ Take out the screw ( ②: M1.4 × 4.2).
・ Take out the 2 screws ( ③: M1.4 × 3.5).
・ The zoom motor unit comes off.

Disassemble Zoom motor unit.
・ Take out the screw ( ①: M1.4 × 2.5). ・ Take out the screw ( ②: M1.4 × 4).
・ Unhook and remove the cover ③.
・ Remove the gears ( ④ and ⑤) and remove the
shafts ( ⑥ and ⑦).
・ Take out the screw ( ⑧: M1.4 × 2.5).
・ Remove the gear shaft plate.
・ Remove the gear ( ⑨) and remove the shaft ( ⑩).
・ Take out the 2 screws ( ⑪: M1.4 × 1.8).
・ The motor comes off.

・ Detach the lens barrel by moving it slowly in the direction indicated by the arrow.
The nder gear A and B come off at the same time.
・ Remove the gear shaft.
Separate Lens-barrel
・ Remove the solder of the shutter FPC and take out the screw ( ①：M1.4×2).
・ Take out 3 screws ( ②：M1.4×3.5).
・ Remove the shutter FPC from the CCD base.

・ Remove the barrier joint plate by pulling it in the direction of A.

・ Rotate the turning tube in the direction indicated by the arrow, to extend the lens-barrel to the maximum.

・ Take out 2 screws ( ①：M1.4×3.5) to separate the 2nd lens frame from the shutter.
・ Rotate the turning tube to the full up position, to reduce the lens-barrel size.
・ Remove the shutter unit by lifting it in the direction of the arrow.

Note : The 2nd lens group unit (frame) cannot be replaced with a new one.

Note : The 1st lens group unit (frame) cannot be replaced with a new one.
・ Remove the turning tube unit from the lens-barrel cover.
・ Remove the straight tube (1st lens frame) by pulling it backwards.
・ Remove the key tube backwards. (It is a little difcult to remove the key tube because it is xed with hooks.)
Note : The key tube can be easily damaged. Perform its removal carefully.

・ Remove the name plate.
・ Remove the barrier by turning it slightly in the direction indicated by the arrow.
・ Detach the spring to remove the barrier ring.
