latch

in

battery latch will lock
the
battery in place.

battery-chamber/memory
card slot cover.
Removing the Battery and
Memory
Card
Turn the camera
off
and be sure
that
the power-on lamp and the
monitor
have turned
off
before opening the battery-chamber/memory card slot cover.
• The camera, battery, and
memory
card may be
hot
immediately after using the camera.
Observe caution when removing the battery or
memory
card.

the
Battery
•
To
eject the battery, open
the
battery-chamber/
memory
card slot
cover and slide the orange battery latch
up
in
the direction
indicated by the arrow (G)). The battery can then be removed by
hand
(@).Do
not
pull it at
an
angle.

eject the card, and then remove the card. Do

camera.

Prepare
the included Charging
AC
Adapter
EH-70P.
If
aplug adapter*
is
included
with
your camera, attach
the
plug
adapter
to
the
plug on
the
Charging
AC
Adapter.
Push
the
plug adapter
firmly until it
is
securely held
in
place.Once the
two
are
connected,
attempting
to
forcibly remove
the
plug adapter could damage the
product.

to
the

in

camera was purchased.

AC
Adapter comes
with
the
plug adapter attached in

battery

installed in

• Keep the camera turned off.

Be
sure
that
plugs
are
properly oriented.Do

not
use
force
when
connecting or disconnecting the plugs.
