NAME PLATE
The Model Number and Ser al Number of your mach ne are shown on the
Nameplate on the bottom of the mach ne. Th s nformat on s needed when
order ng repa r parts for the mach ne. Use the space below to note the Model
Number and Ser al Number of your mach ne for future reference.

NCRATE THE MACHINE
When the mach ne s del vered, carefully nspect the sh pp ng carton and the
mach ne for damage. If damage s ev dent, save the sh pp ng carton so that t can
be nspected. Contact the Kent Customer Serv ce Department mmed ately to f le
a fre ght damage cla m.

(B) - INSTALLING THE BR SH OR PAD HOLDER
Al gn the lugs w th the correspond ng slots n the brush or pad holder and turn the
brush or pad holder counterclockw se to lock t n place. To remove brush/pad
holder, g ve t a qu ck, hard turn clockw se.
CA TION!
Us ng the wrong brush or pad on th s mach ne can damage the floor or overload
the motor.
OPERATION
1Unwrap the Power Cord and plug t nto a properly grounded outlet.
2Select the des red speed sett ng; Low-190 rpm, H gh-300 rpm.

NOTE: Speed should not be changed wh le n operat on. To change
speed, shut off mach ne, select des red speed sett ng and repeat steps
2-5.
3Loosen the Handle Adjustment Lever (4) by pull ng up on the bottom of
the lever. Move the Operator Handle downward unt l your arms are
almost stra ght. Then step down on top of the lever to lock t.
4L ft the Handle unt l the brush (or pad) s flat aga nst the floor.
WARNING!
Be prepared to control the mach ne as soon as the motor starts.
Just a sl ght up or down movement of the Handle w ll make the
mach ne move from s de to s de. Ra se the Handle to go r ght.
Lower the Handle to go left.
CA TION!
Immed ately start mov ng the mach ne back and forth. Keep the
mach ne mov ng wh le the motor s runn ng to avo d damage to the
floor or carpet.
5Hold one of the Operator Hand Gr ps (1) f rmly, push the Safety Lock
Button (2) and then compress the Sw tch Levers (3) to start the motor.
NOTE: When the dual controlled sw tch levers are released, the mach ne
shuts off mmed ately.
NOTE: When spray buff ng, check the pad every 15 m nutes for d rt and
wax bu ld-up. If the pad s d rty, turn t over to expose the clean s de or
nstall a clean pad.
