For cutting rubber with a thickness of up to 50 mm
• High transverse stability due to reinforced bracing
• Use of standardized components
• High stability against tilting due to lateral support rollers
• Ball bearing-mounted material guide rollers
• Motor easily replaceable (no adjustment necessary)
• Easy replacement of the circular knives
• Cuts rubber and PU material up to a thickness of 50 mm
Shore hardness: 40-70°
Speed of rotation of circular knives: 30 min-1
Air pressure: 4-6 bar
Air consumption: 11,33 l/sek
Circular knife: Ø 200 mm
The pneumatic rubber cutter is only intended for cutting rubber sheets,
conveyor belts with fabric plies and polyurethane panels and must not
be used for the cutting of any other materials. Improper use releases us
from any claims under the guarantee and from product liability.
Compressed air-driven motors pose an only very slight risk even in an
explosive atmosphere. Irrespective of this, the user is obliged to take
responsibility for assessing the risks in individual cases in the case of an
extreme atmosphere at the place of use.
For better cutting, the circular knife should – especially at material
thicknesses of 50 mm – be sprayed with silicone.
We supply the pneumatic rubber cutter ready for connection for a fast
plug-in coupling to the compressed air network.
The pneumatic rubber cutter is operated with both hands, one hand
regulating the air pressure and the other opening the knife guard.

The setting of the circular knife is to be approx. 5 mm deep between
the guide rollers. The depth setting is made with the setting screw
(Item 2). It must be ensured that the circular knife does not rest on
the hexagon socket screws of the roller fastening system.
In order to prevent injuries, the gap between the circular knife and
the bracing (Item 8) has been reduced to 2-3 mm.
Wear protective gloves to avoid injuries!
Lubricating the compressed-air motor
For the faultless functioning and long service life of the compressed-
air motor, according to the manufacturer the motor should, as far as
possible, be operated with an oiler. Lubrication is absolutely essential
for ensuring optimum tool performance. The air line lubricating de-
vice should be installed in the ow direction of the lters. Otherwise
regularly lubricate every operating hour with an oil of the Class ISO
VG 15.
Warning
If the device is not used for a relatively long time, the compressed-air
motor should, according to the manufacturer, be lled with com-
pressed-air oil (put some oil in the compressed air connection and
let the motor run). In that way you will avoid corrosion caused by
humidity and condensate.
Grinding the circular knife
The circular knife can be ground in the installed state. In the removed
state the circular knife should be ground in a jig. During the grinding
process the circular knife must turn slowly. The cutting edge must
be ground sharp and uniformly. Burns are to be avoided. We recom-
mend a chamfer of 10° on both sides of the knife edge.

Cleaning
Do not use any cleansers containing solvents!
Maintenance
At intervals of about 300 operating hours, maintenance should
be carried out. During this the brass bearings are to be greased.
Wear parts – such as brass bearings, lamellae and O-rings of the
compressed-air motor – should be replaced as required. The com-
pressed-air motor is to be inspected only by the manufacturer as the
guarantee provided otherwise expires.
Compressed-air motor HM-01-30
Purpose of use
This motor is intended for installation in stationary or moving
machines.
It rotates in a clockwise direction and may be installed only on the
ange or the threaded neck. The risk of the motor leading to a
potentially explosive atmosphere is extremely slight. The user bears
the responsibility for an assessment of the risks for the entire machine
in which the motor is to be installed.
