These operang instrucons describe the funcon and handling of the ironing module and include
direcons for installaon and maintenance.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
The advice and warnings here have been drawn up to avoid incorrect use and unnecessary risks of accidents
and should therefore be read before installaon and use of the module.
N.B. Store these operang instrucons so they are always available from future reference.
Read these operang instrucons before usingthe module.
Remember to turn off the ironbefore foldingup the ironing board.
Donotstore anything combusble inthe ironing cupboard.
Donotsiton the ironing board or use itasa storage area.
The module should be installed or stored indoors.
Follow NIMO’sinstrucons inthe event of any repairs and replacement of parts.
Adapt the ironing temperature and carefully follow the manufacturer’sinstrucons for ironing.
Take care notto iron at temperatures thatare attoo hot.
The ironing module maynotbe used by childrenor people with reduced physical or mental
ability or lack of experience unless theyhave been given supervision or instrucons!

INSTALLATION
Unpacking
Remove all packaging material. Donotuse sharp tools thatcould damage the ironing cupboard.
Check thatthe product has notbeen damaged intransport. Any transport damage mustbe reported to the
distributor within 7 days.
Aer unpacking, check thatthe ironing module isfree from defects. Damage, faultsand any missing parts
mustbe reported to the distributor immediately.
Check thatall transport safety fastenings have been removed before the ironing module isconnected.
Packaging materials such as plasc and polystyrene mustbe stored out of reach of children.
A complete delivery should include:
oA complete, assembled ironingboard
oFings to fix the cupboard to a wall
o4 screws, 4 plugs, 4 washers and 4 protecve covers for the screw heads for fixing to the cupboard
through the back (pos1,4,5,6)

N.B. Important safety informaon
For safe installaon, the module must be securely fixed to a wall.
When fixing to a wall,the screws must be fixed to scantlings.
When fixing to a concrete wall,the enclosed plugs must be used.
When fixing to a wood stud wall,the screws must be fixed to so-called nogging pieces (pos 1,2).
If you are unsure, contact a qualified tradesman for advice.

FIXING TO THE WALL
1 - Liup the panel.
2 - Screw on the back through the big holes according to the above instrucon.
3 - Replace the panel.

Ironing
WARNING!
Read the safety instrucons on page 3 before using the ironing module.
Mostof the sengs and adjustments for IronMaid can be done with one hand.
The controls are shown on the picture.
Folding the board up/down
Folddown the ironing board by holding the lower edge and pulling the board out.
Tofolditup again, loosen the safety catch with the lever under the board, li the back edge and push the
ironing board in.
Adjusng the height and sidewaysposion
The height of the ironing board isadjustedby turning the adjustment screw. The seng willremain when
the ironing board isfolded away again.
The ironing board can be adjustedconnuously sideways up to 90° inboth direcons.

SERVICE
New covers for the ironing board are available to buy from Nimoverken.
CARE
Cleaning
A high-pressure cleaner maynotbe used!
The ironing module should be cleaned usinga mild soap soluon and a damp cloth.
The ironing board should be cleaned with a damp cloth.
