OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
SET UP DIRECTIONS
01. Place
Place your humidier on a at, moisture-proof surface at least
1 metre (39 inches) away from the wall.
03. Power
Plug in the humidier and press the Power Button once. The
humidier will turn on and default to the lowest settings.
05. Relax
Enjoy your humidier in quiet, peaceful, bliss. The unit will turn into
a fan when the water in tank is empty.
04. Set
Select your optimal settings by referring to the OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS (pages 9 - 10).

a) Pour tap water through the water input grill until the water
level reaches the “MAX” mark on the water tank window.
b) Alternatively, remove top housing and ll the water tank
to the “MAX” mark on the water tank window.

01. Timer Button
Set the humidication duration for 2, 4 or 8 hours.
02. Fan Speed Button
Change the fan speed to Low, Medium or High.
03. Power Button
Push once to turn on humidier and unit will start on the lowest
settings by default.
04. Humidity Percentage Button
Pre-set the humidity to 40%, 50%, or 60%.
05. Night Mode
To dim the indicator lights, press and hold the Power Button
for 2 seconds. To exit night mode, press and hold the Power
Button for 2 seconds again.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
CARE & MAINTENANCE
Make sure the humidier is turned off and unplugged.
Empty any residual water and rinse the water tank.
Remove the water wick basket and water wick from the water
tank and set it aside.
Wipe the water tank clean with a cloth or towel and replace
the water basket and water wick.
Repeat the rst 3 operations of Daily Maintenance.
Pour a small cup (about 200 mL / 6 1/2 oz) of undiluted white
vinegar or cleaning solution through the water input grill and
let it sit for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, remove the top housing and pour out the
cleaning solution from the water tank. Rinse the water tank
with warm water. Do not rinse the top housing.
Wipe the water input grill and the water tank clean with a
cloth or towel and replace the water basket and water wick.

Repeat the rst 3 operations of Daily Maintenance.
Fill the water tank halfway with water then add a
½ tablespoon (7.2 mL) of chlorine bleach.
Swirl the solution in the water tank for a few minutes to ensure
that the full interior has been covered.
Let the solution sit in the water tank for 20 minutes.
Empty the water tank and wash it with water until no
disinfectant smell is present.
Wipe the water tank clean with a cloth or towel and replace
the water basket and water wick.

WATER WICK REPLACEMENT
Water wick should be replaced every 3-6 months. The life of the water
wick will vary depending on water quality and usage.
Turn off and unplug the humidier before attempting to replace the
water wick.
Empty the water tank of any
residual water.
Put the new water wick onto
the water wick basket and
place back into the water
tank.
Remove the water wick basket
and dirty water wick from
water tank.
Dispose of the used water
wick.
Carefully place the top housing
back onto the water tank
using guide posts for proper
positioning.
The control panel and water
tank window should be facing
the same direction.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: How can I tell if the air has reached my pre-set humidity
percentage?
A: The indicator light will blink 3 times and remain illuminated.
Then the humidifier will enter into standby mode where the fan
will stop.
Q: Why is my humidifier stopping throughout the day?
A: If you have selected a pre-set humidity percentage, the
humidifier will enter into standby mode and the fan will stop
running once the humidity of your room reaches the pre-set
value.
Q: Can I change the fan speed after choosing my pre-set
humidity percentage?
A: Yes; however, if the humidity of the room has already reached
the pre-set value, the humidifier will go back into standby mode
and the fan will stop.
Q: Will my settings be saved if I turn off my humidifier?
A: Yes, if kept plugged in, the humidier will return to the last
settings it was on before being turned off. If unplugged, the unit
will return to the default lowest settings when turned back on.

• Unit has reached the pre-set humidity

• Unit settings are too low — increase the
fan speed and humidity percentage (see

• Check the water wick lter for material buildup
because the water wick may need to be
replaced
• If the air is already saturated or has reached a
pre-set humidity percentage, the unit will not
emit as much moisture
Fan is

• The pre-set humidity percentage has not been
reached and the fan will continue to run until
turned off
• The water tank is empty and the fan will
continue to run until turned off

INSTRUCTIONS D’INSTALLATION
01. Emplacement
Placez votre humidicateur sur une surface plane, étanche à
l’humidité, à au moins 1 m (39 po) de distance du mur.
03. Alimentation
Branchez l’humidicateur et appuyez une fois sur le bouton
Marche/Arrêt . L’humidicateur s’allume et se règle par
défaut au niveau le plus bas.
05. Détendez-vous
Protez de votre humidicateur dans le calme, la paix, le
bonheur. L’appareil se transformera en ventilateur lorsque l’eau
dans le réservoir est vide
04. Réglage
Sélectionnez vos réglages optimaux en consultant les
CONSIGNES D’UTILISATION (pages 31 à 32).
02. Remplissage
a) Versez de l’eau du robinet à travers la grille d’entrée d’eau
jusqu’à ce que le niveau d’eau atteigne le repère « MAX »
sur le regard du réservoir d’eau.
b) Autrement, retirez le boîtier supérieur et remplissez le
réservoir d’eau jusqu’au repère « MAX » sur le regard du
réservoir d’eau.

03. Bouton Marche/Arrêt
Appuyez une fois sur le bouton Marche/Arrêt pour allumer
l’humidicateur et l’appareil démarre avec les réglages au
niveau le plus bas par défaut.
04. Bouton Pourcentage d’humidité
Préréglez l’humidité à 40 %, 50 % ou 60 %.
01. Minuterie
Réglez la durée d’humidication pour une période de 2, 4 ou 8
heures.
05. Mode nuit
Pour atténuer les voyants, appuyez sur le bouton Marche/Arrêt
pendant 2 secondes. Pour quitter le mode nuit, appuyez à
nouveau sur le bouton Marche/Arrêt pendant 2 secondes.

ENTRETIEN
Assurez-vous que l’humidicateur est éteint et débranché.
Videz l’eau résiduelle du réservoir d’eau.
Retirez le panier de la mèche et la mèche du réservoir d’eau
et mettez-les de côté.
Essuyez le réservoir d’eau avec un chiffon ou une serviette et
replacez le panier de la mèche et la mèche.
Répétez les 3 premières opérations de la section Entretien
quotidien.
Versez une petite tasse (environ 200 mL / 6 1/2 oz) de vinaigre
blanc non dilué ou de solution de nettoyage à travers la grille
d’entrée d’eau et laissez reposer pendant 20 minutes.
Au bout de 20 minutes, retirez le boîtier supérieur et videz le
réservoir d’eau de la solution de nettoyage. Rincez le réservoir
d’eau avec de l’eau tiède. Ne rincez pas le boîtier supérieur.
Essuyez la grille d’entrée d’eau et le réservoir d’eau avec un
chiffon ou une serviette, puis replacez le panier de la mèche
et la mèche.

Remplissez le réservoir d’eau à moitié avec de l’eau, puis
ajoutez ½ c. à soupe (7,2 mL) d’agent de blanchiment au
chlore.
Remuez la solution dans le réservoir d’eau pendant quelques
minutes pour vous assurer que tout l’intérieur a été recouvert.
Laissez la solution reposer dans le réservoir d’eau pendant 20
minutes.
Videz le réservoir d’eau et lavez-le avec de l’eau jusqu’à ce
qu’il n’y ait plus d’odeur de désinfectant.
Essuyez le réservoir d’eau avec un chiffon ou une serviette et
replacez le panier de la mèche et la mèche.

REMPLACEMENT
DE LA MÈCHE À EAU
La mèche à eau doit être remplacée tous les 3 à 6 mois. La durée de vie
de la mèche à eau dépendra de la qualité de l’eau et de son utilisation.
Éteignez et débranchez l’humidicateur avant d’essayer de remplacer
la mèche à eau.
Videz le réservoir de toute eau
résiduelle.
Placez la nouvelle mèche sur
le panier et remettez le tout
dans le réservoir.
Retirez le panier à mèche et la
mèche imbibée d’eau sale du
réservoir d’eau.
Jetez la mèche usagée.
Remettez soigneusement le
boîtier supérieur en place sur
le réservoir d’eau à l’aide des
guides pour un positionnement
correct.
Le panneau de commande et
la fenêtre du réservoir d’eau
doivent être orientés dans la
même direction.

FOIRE AUX QUESTIONS
Q: Comment savoir si l’humidité dans l’air a atteint le
pourcentage d’humidité préréglé?
R: Le voyant clignote 3 fois et reste allumé. L’humidificateur entre
ensuite en mode veille, puis le ventilateur s’arrête.
Q: Pourquoi mon humidificateur s’arrête-t-il toute la journée?
R: Si vous avez sélectionné un pourcentage d’humidité préréglé,
l’humidificateur passe en mode veille et le ventilateur cesse de
fonctionner une fois que l’humidité de votre pièce aura atteint la
valeur préréglée.
Q: Puis-je modifier la vitesse du ventilateur après avoir choisi le
pourcentage d’humidité préréglé?
R: Oui, cependant, si l’humidité de la pièce a déjà atteint la
valeur préréglée, l’humidificateur se remet en mode veille et le
ventilateur s’arrête.
Q: Mes réglages sont-ils sauvegardés si j’éteins mon
humidificateur?
R: Oui, s’il reste branché, l’humidificateur reprend les derniers
réglages appliqués avant d’être éteint. S’il est débranché puis
mis en marche, l’appareil fonctionne sur réglages au niveau le
plus bas par défaut.
