1Introduction
The PULSE™ Display Kit Manual is intended to be used in conjunction with the UC5™ Spray
Height Control Installation Manual. This manual provides instructions to interface the UC5
Control Module to the PULSE Display. For installation of the rest of the UC5 Spray Height
Control System please refer to the sprayer specific manual provided with the kit.

If this kit is being installed with an existing system with control module serial
number lower than 3200, the following cable is required:

1.2 Optional RAM Mount Ordering Information
This is an optional suction cup mount that may be useful when mounting the PULSE display.
This mount is not supplied with this kit, but can be ordered as per the following information:

2Installation
Ensure the PULSE power switch is OFF for the remainder of the installation
(Bottom of switch pressed IN).
1. Install the PULSE™ display in the cab of the sprayer where it will be clearly visible and
within easy reach of the operator.
When installing the PULSE, it is recommended to install it no closer than 1
(one) meter (40 inches) from 2-way radio antennas. Older 2-way radio
antennas can cause interference.
2. RAM manufactures a suction cup mount that works well for installing the PULSE display.
The suction cup mount is not supplied with this kit, but is available from NORAC or RAM.
See Section 1.2 for ordering information.
3. Connect the cable from the PULSE display (D01) to one of the couplers (E20) and connect
one of the network cables (C01) to the other side of the coupler. Connect the remaining
coupler (E20) between the two network cables (C01).
4. Connect the free end of the second network cable (C01) to the Display Bus connector on
the control module (E01). This is the end of the control module that only has one Deutsch
connector.
