2.2Normal Time and Date Settings
In normal time mode, hold down the B key for 3 seconds to
enter the time and date setting mode, press the B key to move
the setting item, the order is as follow:

Press D or C key to select time zone.
Press D or C key to turn on or off the DST.
Press D or C key to select 12 or 24hour system.
Press D key to increase the value, hold down D key to increase
the value quickly.
Press C key to decrease the value, hold down C key to decrease
the value quickly.
Press D or C key can clear second to “0”, (The second in world
time will clear “0” synchronously.)
During the setting, hold down the B key for 2 seconds to confirm
and return to normal time mode
If no any key operation in 1 minute, it will confirm and return to
normal time mode automatically.
Note: After adjusting the LCD digital time, the hands time will
change synchronously. If the battery power is low, the system
prohibits hands running automatically and hands time will not
change synchronously.
2.3Stopwatch Mode
Stopwatch timing range: 99 hours 59 minutes 59.99 seconds, when
reach the maximum limit, stopwatch will automatically stop timing
In stopwatch mode, press D key to start or stop. When it stops,
press C key to clear “0”.

Split time: When stopwatch is running, press C key to enter split time,
press D key to stop and display total time, then press C key to clear “0”.
Two players’ completion time: When stopwatch is running, press C key
to display completion time of player 1, press D key to start measurement
of completion time of player 2, then press C key to display completion
time of player 2, press C key to clear “0”.

2.4 Countdown Mode
Countdown range :99 hours 59 minutes 59 seconds
In countdown function mode, click D to start or stop
When the countdown stops, hold down the C key and value
flash for 3 seconds, then return the set value
When the countdown time reaches "0:0000", it will ring for 10
seconds, press any key to stop the alarm and the countdown time
will automatically return to the set value
Note: When battery power is low, system prohibits alarm automatically,
there will be no alarm sound when countdown to “0”, at the same time,
the low battery power icon L level will flash for 10 seconds.
Countdown Setting:
When the countdown stops, hold down the B key for 3 seconds to
enter the countdown setting, press the B key to select the
adjustment item, the order is as follow:

Press the C button in alarm mode to select 5 sets of alarm clocks
and hourly chime, press the D button to turn ON or OFF the alarm
as shown below:

In alarm 1 to alarm 5 modes, hold down the B key for 3 seconds
to enter the setting mode, press the B key to select the setting
item, the order shown below:
Press D key to increase the value, hold down D key to increase the
value quickly.
Press D key to increase the value, hold down D key to increase the
value quickly.
During the setting, press B key for 2s to confirm and return to alarm mode.
It will return to alarm clock mode if no any key operation in one minute.
If the alarm is turned ON, it will alarm for 20 seconds and the alarm
time will flash when reach alarm time. Press any key to stop alarm.
If the alarm is turned ON, it will alarm for 20 seconds and the alarm
time will flash when reach alarm time. Press any key to stop alarm.

2.6World Time Mode
In world time mode, press the C or D key to view different city
time as shown below:
Daylight saving time ON and OFF:
In world time mode, press and hold the A key for 3 seconds to
enter daylight saving time setting mode, press the D key to turn
ON or OFF daylight saving time as shown below:
Hold down the D or C key to quickly change the time zone
It will return to world time mode automatically if no any key operation
in one minute.

2.7Compass Mode
Direction measurement by pressing

Place the watch horizontally, the minute hand pointing north, the
hour hand pointing south.
Turn the watch to make it display “N”, the 12H direction is north

If no any key operation in 1 minute, it will exit measurement mode
automatically, then press D key to re-measure.
Remark: when battery power is low, the system prohibits
compass function. If enter compass mode, press D key and the
low battery power icon L level will flash for 5s, the compass can’t
be used.

When the compass is first used, a correction is required as follow:
In compass mode, hold B key for 2s to enter (OFF CAL)
calibration mode. Pressing D or C key, then turn watch slowly,
clockwise or anticlockwise are both ok. After turning for 2 circles in
the same direction, the watch will exit calibration mode and return
to compass measurement mode. Note: After changing battery, the
first time you use compass, it will enter automatic calibration
mode. Please turn the watch more than two circles according to
the above method to calibrate compass.
In calibration mode, if no any key operation in 1 minute, it will
exit automatically and return to measurement mode
Note: When battery power is low, the system prohibits compass
function. If enter compass mode, press A key and low power icon L
level flash for 5s and can’t enter calibration mode.

Digital Correction Mode (DEC)
After the above (OFF CAL) correction, if there is still a deviation,
you can follow the below method for digital correction
In compass mode, press A key for 2s to enter (DEC) digital
calibration mode, press D key to make the setting value plus 1,
press C key to make the setting value minus 1.
Maximum correction angle range ±90°(" W ""E "±90°)
Hold B key to confirm calibration value and return to
measurement mode.。
In digital correction mode, if no any key operation in 1 minute,
it will exit automatically and return to measurement mode
Note: When battery power is low, the system prohibits compass
function. If enter compass mode, pressing A key, low power icon
L level flash for 5s and can’t enter calibration mode.

Hands Correction
When the hand time is inconsistent with the digital display time,
the following method can be used to correct it.
In normal time mode, hold down the A key for 3 seconds to enter
hands correction at 12:00 state.
Press the D key to adjust the hand to forward one step, hold down
the D key for quick adjustment, release the D key to stop
Press the C key to adjust the hand back 1 step, hold down the C key
for quick adjustment, release the C key to stop.
Press the B key to convert the hour hand or minute hand.
Adjust the hand to 12:00 and press the A key to confirm, the
hand time will automatically synchronize with the digital time.
Note: When battery power is low, the system prohibits hands
correction function. In normal time mode, hold A key and there
is low power icon L level flash for 5 seconds, can’t enter hands
correction mode.

Each take turn showing for 1.5s
2.8Battery Power Checking
In normal time mode, press and hold the C and D keys at the same
time to display battery power for 2s. If the power is at level 2 and level
3, all functions can be used.
When battery power is at level L, the hands will return to 12:00. At
the same time, the low power icon L level will flash for 1 minute(press
any key the LCD will display normal time)
When battery is at level L, system will automatically disable the key
sound, alarm sound, countdown sound and hands correction, compass
correction, compass, these functions can’t be used.
When battery is ultra-low, low voltage symbols and prompt
charging characters(CHARGE) flashing for 30s in turn, which
means power will be running out. LCD display entering sleep state.
Press any key, the low voltage symbols and prompt charging
When the battery runs out, all functions of this watch will stop.
After charging, functions can resume work, but all data stored in
the watch will disappear. Therefore, you must reset the time and
date after charging
Note: If you find the hands can’t back to 12:00 at low power, you
must correct hands back to 12:00 after charging for normal use.

3.Solar battery Description
Solar battery is installed to generate electricity by using light
energy and can store the generated energy into the built-in
battery. Usually the battery does not need to be replaced, but
after several years of use, its charging capacity will gradually
decrease and it can’t be fully charged. If you find that the
battery can’t be fully charged, you can only replace the battery
model as Panasonic (CTL1616); replacing the battery will delete
all the information in this watch memory.
Checking the battery indicator can display the battery power state
Power ultra-low indicator is used to represent the battery
power is very low. It will automatically enter the sleep state to
save power after flashing for 30 seconds. Press any key to
restore 30s flashing display, which remind you that you must
immediately place it in light for charging.
When the batteries run out, all functionality will be stopped.
After charging, every function can resume operation, but all
data stored in the watch will disappear. Therefore, after
charging to level M, you must reset the time and date, and
calibrate the hands and compass.
4.Operation caution:
When the watch is fully charged, in total darkness, it will run
about 1.5 months
After 1.5 months of storage in a dark place, the watch must be
charged at least above M level and re-setting the correct time
before use

6.Attention to Charging
In some cases, charging causes overheating in this watch, please
avoid placing this watch in below place for battery charging.

Note that the temperature of this watch overheating will cause
the LCD screen extinguished, after the watch temperature
decrease, it should return to normal display.
Charging the battery directly under the sun will cause the watch
to be hot. Please take care to avoid scalding.
7.Important Tips:
Long-term store this watch in a darkness place or covered by
clothing, its power will be exhausted. Please let it catch the
light as often as possible.
