AUXILIARY HEATER (HI-OUTPUT) AH525/12 VOLT

Materials required to install this heater are available in the kit shown above. In addition you will need 5/8” heater hose and 14 GA wire.

1. This versatile heater may be mounted either horizontally or verti ally. Typi al lo ations in lude floor, wall or under dash. Mark the inlet and outlet tube lo ations and ut

a hole through the vehi le’s floor. Grommets are in luded , but may not be required for below floor mounting. Mount the heater to the floor using the provided

mounting bra kets.

2. Route the heater hose to the engine ompartment. We re ommend the heater hose follow the inside of the frame rails for prote tion from road debris. Wire ties or

lamps may be used to se ure the hose to the frame. Please note that all hoses must lear all driveline or moving parts and must be se urely fastened to the frame to

avoid potential damage to the hose and ooling system. In the engine ompartment, lo ate where the existing heater hoses pass through the fire wall. On the engine

side of the fire wall, ut and insert the Y spli ers in the existing heater hoses, as lose to the firewall as possible. Se ure all the Y spli er onne tions with hose lamps,

then install the new heater hose to the auxiliary heater. Avoid any sharp bends whi h may kink the hose and restri t proper flow. (See spli er diagram.)

3. Mount the swit h panel in a onvenient under dash lo ation. Route power supply wire from fuse blo k to ro ker swit h, in luding inline 15 AMP fuse. Clip plug, then

onne t the red, orange and yellow wires from the heater to the swit h extending them where ne essary. Finally, ground the bla k wire to the hassis of the vehi le.

We re ommend all ele tri al onne tions are terminated or soldered and taped. (See the onne tion diagram below.)

Any Heater laimed defe tive under this limited warranty should be forwarded to Northern Fa tory Sales, transportation harges prepaid, for inspe tion and warranty

determination.

Northern Fa tory Sales will not be responsible for heaters damaged from misuse or negle t. Any expense asso iated with a warranty repla ement, in luding but not limited

to installation and transportation harges, are not overed under this warranty. This warranty provides for produ t repla ement only. Any attempt at lo al repairs automati ally

voids this limited warranty.
