ADJUSTMENT. IT MAY BE NECESSARY TO RAISE/LOWER THE OVERALL
HEIGHT OF BEARING CHASSIS WITH THE FOUR ADJUSTABLE FEET.
DRIVE BELT POSITIONS: - TOP GROOVE 45 RPM BOTTOM 33 AND 1/3 RPM
STEP 7:- ATTACH YOUR CHOICE OF ARM TO ARM BOARD PROVIDED. (PHOTO 7)
NOTE IF YOU ARE USING A NOTTINGHAM ANALOGUE ARM PLEASE REFER TO
INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED WITH THE ARM. USE ALIGNMENT PROTRACTOR SUPPLIED.
IF USING A TONE ARM FROM ANOTHER MANUFACTURER. PLEASE REFER TO
THEIR INSTUCTIONS
FOR SHIPPING PURPOSES YOUR ARMBOARD WILL SECURED TIGHTLY. LOOSEN BOLT USING LARGE
HEXAGON KEY PROVIDED AND MOVE TO SETUP POSITION.
SHOULD YOU REQUIRE MORE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT FOR YOUR ARM. UNBOLT THE ARMBOARD SUPPORT
PILLAR (AS SHOWN IN PHOTO 8) YOU WILL SEE 3 VERTICAL HOLES. REATTACH ARMBOARD SUPPORT PILLAR
TO HOLE MOST SUITABLE FOR YOUR ARM ADJUSTMENT. RELEVEL ARMBOARD, USING SPIRIT LEVEL
STEP 8:- PLUG THE MOTOR UNIT INTO THE 5 PIN CONNECTOR AT REAR OF WAVE MECHANIC
POWER SUPPLY.
CONNECT THE WAVE MECHANIC TO ELECTRIC SUPPLY AND SWITCH ON AT REAR. A
LIGHT ON FRONT INDICATES POWER ON. YOU WILL FEEL A SLIGHT VIBRATION
THROUGH THE PULLEY. THIS IS NORMAL.
STEP 9:- PLACE THE TIMING STROBE ONTO THE PLATTER. (PHOTO 9)
USING YOUR HAND GIVE THE PLATTER A PUSH CLOCKWISE TO START.
PUSHED TOO GENTLY THE PLATTER WILL NOT MAINTAIN SPEED. PUSHED TOO
HARD THE PLATTER WILL ADJUST TO SPEED WITHIN A FEW SECONDS. TO STOP
SIMPLY PLACE HAND ON SIDE OF PLATTER.
USING THE ELECTRONIC STOBE OVER THE TIMING STROBE YOU CAN ACHIEVE
EXACT TIMING BY MAKING CAREFULL ADJUSTMENTS WITH THE KNOB
LOCATED AT THE FRONT OF THE WAVE MECHANIC.
BE SURE TO USE THE CORRECT SET OF TIMING BARS ON THE STROBE DISC,
YOU SHOULD NOW BE READY TO ENJOY MANY HAPPY HOURS OF LISTENING FROM YOUR
RECORDS.
CARE AND MAINTAINENCE OF YOUR TURNTABLE
-DURING THE FIRST HOURS OF RUNNING, YOUR SPINDLE AND BEARING WILL BED IN.
-WE RECOMMEND AN OIL CHANGE EVERY 2 YEARS. SIMPLY LIFT PLATTER FROM BEARING
CLEAN OIL OFF SPINDLE. USE TISSUE PAPER TO REMOVE OLD OIL FROM BEARING. THEN
REPEAT STEPS 2 TO 4.
