Ultraviolet (UV) light rays attract mosquitoes and insects. Ultraviolet light can be categorized into 3 different spectrums, UV-A,
UV-B and UV C.They are categorized by their wavelength measurements in nanometers (nm). Of the three different types of UV
light, novita Mosquito & Insect Killers are designed to only emit UV-A.
UV-A, also known as Black Light is a long-wave ultraviolet light in the 315 nm to the 380 nm range. It is also the only UV-A light
that is harmless to the human body and is proven to be the most attractive to insects and pests. Non-toxic and releasing only
harmless Black Light, novita Mosquito & Insect Killers are designed for optimum efficiency.

Powerful & Reliable
The improved novita Mosquito & Insect Killer NK 40W-iwas designed for handy usage and encompasses a high coverage area
of up to 400 square feet.The removable collection tray allows for convenient maintenance and comes along with a safety
mechanism that instantly deactivates the moment the collection tray is removed or not placed properly. NK 40W-ican
free-stand, be wall mounted or suspended/hanged according to individual’s preference.
Emitting harmless Black UV Light, it attracts flying insects towards it to safely and efficiently eliminate these harmful pests by
the electrically charged metal grids. Actively captivating mosquitoes and pesky insects, the powerful and reliable NK 40W-i

Select a stable platform or area for your novita Insect Killer to free-stand, wall-mount or suspend approximately 1.8m above the
ground for best efficiency. Plug the unit into the power supply and the UV-A light tube will light up upon turning on the power.
(If nothing happens, ensure that the collection tray is properly placed as there is a safety mechanism for the proper placement
of the tray). When not in use, remove the unit from the power supply and store your novita Insect Killer in a dry and cool area.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the operating instructions carefully before using your novita Insect Killer and keep it for later reference.
Persons who are not familiar with the operating instructions, as well as children and persons under the influence of
medication, alcohol or drugs are not advised to operate the appliance, or are only advised to operate it under supervision.
Do NOT use the appliance if there is any damage to the appliance or cable.
Repairs of the appliance are only to be made by qualified service engineers. Improper repair work can cause considerable
danger to the user.
Do NOT touch the metal grid while the appliance is in operation.
Regularly maintain and clean the appliance for hygiene purposes.
Do NOT use detergent to clean the unit.
Do NOT cover any openings of the unit or insert objects into any openings.
Do NOT immerse the main body of the appliance into water or any other liquids.
Do NOT handle the unit or cables with wet hands.
Always use the correct power supply.
Keep insecticides and flammable sprays away from the unit to prevent risk of fire and possible damage to the unit.

UV LIGHT TUBE REPLACEMENT
STEP 1
DISCONNECT THE POWER FIRST BEFORE CHANGING!
Remove the collection tray and place the unit on a table as shown in the picture.
STEP 2
Hold the two sides of the UV light tube and turn until you hear a click sound. Carefully
remove the light tube and repeat process for the other UV light tube.
STEP 3
Carefully put a new UV light tube of correct size and wattage back and turn until you hear a
click sound. Repeat the process for the other UV light tube and replace the collection tray
properly before using again.
STEP 1
DISCONNECT THE POWER FIRST BEFORE CLEANING!
Use the plastic brush provided to brush off the lint or carcasses of the insects trapped on
the metal grids onto the collection tray at the bottom.
STEP 2
Withdraw the collection tray from the unit, remove, dispose and clean off all the
contents before putting back the collection tray.
The novita Mosquito & Insect Killer is now ready for use again. It is recommended to
clean and maintain the unit once a week.

Time and convenience might not always be in the advantage of customers, hence, for a nominal fee of $20 one-way
and $30 two-ways, customer can choose to use our delivery services instead of bringing in the product themselves.
Optional Loan Set*
Knowing how inconvenient it can get when your product is sent for servicing or repair, novita lends a hand by offering
you a temporary loan set at no charge.
* Please note that this service is upon request and the availability of the product. Temporary loan set might be of a different model from
original set brought for repair.
