RAM-Clea r Proce dure

To clear critical errors, a RAM-Clear has to be performed. This means a total reset of all accounting and events data will
be erased. Follow below instructions to execute a RAM-Clear:
Power off the terminal
• Open CPU Door and then close it again. ( By Opening the CPU and then closing it will cause for CPU to drain
any power from itself.
• Connect RAM Clear Device on top of the CPU
.
• Power on the Terminal.
• Close the Main Door. After restart of the terminal the following message will be displayed:

Turn the audit key (leave in the horizontal position) to enter the audit menu where the following screen will be displayed:
• Press the Factory Default Ram Clear button to perform the RAM-Clear.
After the RAM-Clear is successfully completed the following message will be displayed.
Note: If you do a PARTIAL RAM CLEAR that will allow you to change any parameters, but if is pressed all soft
meter will be erased.
After this message you can pull out the ram clear USB (while machine is still on) and turn the attendant key off and remove.
The machine will reboot after the machine reboots insert the attendant key, turn to the on (horizontal) position and leave in.
Press BACK to go to the Main setup screen. Select Machine Setup
Note: When a selection is made the word or value will change to yellow

• Max Win to Credit: That will need to be as a default to 1199.99
Midwest Settings are as follows
• Max credit =10,000
Max Credit In = 1000
Max Bill In = 0
Ticket payout limit = 10,000
• After you’re done setting all up hit back on the left bottom corner.

2. Initial Settings: When selecting Initial settings press Enter,
in that selection you can enter the IGB Tag of the machine.
• After you’re done setting all up, hit back on the left bottom corner
• Below picture shows you we enter your example (MACHINE NUMBER = IGB tag number 123456)
• Other settings in this page are leave it has a default
• After you’re done setting all up hit back on the left bottom corner

• TransAct = ithaca
• Gen5= Future Logic
• Validation type: Needs to be Secure Enhanced
• Ticket Redemption: Disable
• Promotional Ticket Redemption: Disable
• Ticket Expires Days: 365
• Press back after you’re done with the settings.

After the machine reboots put in the attendant key and turn horizontal, press “back” to return to the main screen

• Press Configure IP, you will get a Loading word on the center of the window .

11. Internet Protocol Configuration
• Select Ethernet connection I217-LM which is the CPU port, check “Enable DHCP”
And fill IP address, subnet Mask and Default Gateway with all Zero 0.0.0.0
Select Ethernet connection I210 Gigabit Network adapter 1 is the back plane board
Uncheck “Enable DHCP”
Please use Keypad on the screen to change anything in the fields
• Type where it says IP Address = 10.167.250.?? then the number of the machine.
• Type where it says Subnet Mask = 255.255.255.240
• Type where is says Default Gateway = 10.167.250.1
• Type where is says Primary DNS = 10.167.250.1
• After all fields are filled Check REBOOT after apply, touch apply, then you will get a windows message
asking to confirm reboot. Choose yes and machine will be rebooted, Turn the Key Vertical and remove

13. Getting a Machine Cert from Sci Games
Machine will reboot after all settings are done; you will get the SCEP Configuration Require.
Please follow the following steps.
• When you get this message, promptly turn the key horizontal and it will take you to get your CERT:
• Press Get Root showing below in order to get your Cert from Sci Games
• Then press Accept Certificate then Generate Certificate and you will see a FINGERPRINT after all is
done turn the key Vertical and machine will reboot itself.
