Congratulations on purchasing the Nowsonic Kamikaze PRO stereo-
phonic electret condenser microphone. The Kamikaze PRO is primarily
intended for use with video and DSLR cameras and is especially easy
to install on appropriately prepared cameras thanks to the integrated
hot shoe adapter. Due to the XY arrangement of the two capsules,
you can stereophonically decrease sound events and give your video
recordings even more authenticity and depth. The high-sensitivity
capsules provide you with an extra low-noise sound and ensure a
high level of speech clarity for interviews, podcasts, on web TV and for
outdoor recordings or any other applications. Thanks to the internal
round cell battery, up to 100 hours of continuous operation is possible.

Operating elements
1) Power switch and high-pass filter
Set this switch to the position to switch the microphone on,
and to the OFF position to switch it offand save the capacity of the
internal round cell battery. Always switch offthe Kamikaze PRO
when not using it.
Set the switch to the position to dampen signals below 80
Hz by 10 dB/octave
2) Sensitivity switch
This switch allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the internal
preamplifier. For quiet sources, choose the +20 dB position, and
for loud sound events, reduce the sensitivity to 0 dB or -10 dB.
3) Battery status indicator
This LED briefly lights up red when you switch the microphone
on. If this LED then stays red instead of going out, this means the
battery capacity is low. In this case, please replace the battery
with a new CR 2032 round cell battery.
4) Battery compartment
Insert the supplied battery here.
5) Hot shoe adapter
This mounting adapter allows you to install the microphone on any
suitable camera with a flash.
6) Audio cable
The integrated TRS cable connects the microphone to the mini jack
audio input on the camera.

For first-time operation, open the battery compartment and insert the
supplied round cell battery in accordance with the polarity indicated
in the battery compartment. Close the battery compartment.
Next, mount the microphone on your camera’s hot shoe by loosening
the clamping screw on the adapter, sliding on the microphone and
then fastening the clamping screw so that the microphone is moun-
ted firmly on the camera.
Now connect the microphone to your camera’s microphone input
using the 3.5 mm TRS jack. Switch on the microphone using the pow-
er switch (1) and check on the camera whether the sensitivity of the
microphone needs to be adjusted: Set the sensitivity switch (2) to the
desired position as required.
If necessary, activate the high-pass filter (1) on the microphone to re-
duce low-frequency interfering signals below 80 Hz by 10 dB/octave.
Once you have finish recording, set the power switch (1) of the Kami-
kaze PRO back to the OFF position, to save the capacity of the internal
battery.
Changing the battery
The internal battery of the Kamikaze PRO will last for up to 100 hours
operating time. The current capacity is displayed on the LED on the
top: If the LED remains lit up red after switching on, the battery capa-
city is drained and the battery needs to be changed.
Proceed as follows:
1) Open the battery compartment cover on the rear of the
Kamikaze PRO.
2) Remove the battery and replace it with a model of the same
type (CR2032).
3) Close the battery compartment.
Instructions for Operation and Storage
1) The microphone is especially sensitive to mechanical influences
such as impacts or falls from a great height and may suffer
irreparable damage as a result. It is therefore important to be
extra careful when handling it and to always check it is fitted
securely to the adapter on the camera.
2) Store the microphone in a clean, dry location. To prevent an ad-
verse effect on the microphone’s sensitivity and tone color, do not
store it in locations subject to high humidity or near a strong
magnetic field.
3) In order to conserve the internal battery power, please switch off
the microphone after use. If the battery status indicator displays
a low capacity, you must replace the internal battery as soon as
possible.
4) Remove the battery from the battery compartment before storing
the microphone for an extended period in order to prevent any
possible damage to the circuitry from battery leakage.

Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Kauf des stereophonen Elektret-Kon-
densatormikrofons Nowsonic Kamikaze PRO. Das Kamikaze PRO ist
vornehmlich für den Einsatz mit Video- und DSLR-Kameras bestimmt
und kann dank des integrierten Blitzschuh-Adapters besonders ein-
fach auf entsprechend vorbereiteten Kameras installiert werden.
Durch die XY-Anordnung der beiden Kapseln können Sie Schallereig-
nisse stereophon abnehmen und verleihen Ihren Videoaufnahmen so
noch mehr Authentizität und Tiefe. Die hochempfindlichen Kapseln
liefern besonders rauscharme Ergebnisse und sorgen für eine hohe
Sprachverständlichkeit bei Interviews, Podcasts, im Web-TV und bei
Außenaufnahmen oder anderen Anwendungen. Mit der internen
Knopfzelle ist ein Betrieb von bis zu 100 Stunden möglich.

Bedienelemente
1) Netzschalter und Hochpassfilter
Bringen Sie diesen Schalter in die Position , um das Mikrofon ein
zuschalten, und in die Position OFF, um das Mikrofon auszuschalten
und die Kapazität der internen Knopfzelle zu schonen. Schalten Sie
das Kamikaze PRO immer auf aus, wenn Sie es nicht verwenden.
Bringen Sie den Schalter in die Position , um Signale unter 80 Hz
mit 10 dB/Oktave zu dämpfen
2) Schalter für die Empfindlichkeit
Mit diesem Schalter passen Sie die Empfindlichkeit des internen
Vorverstärkers an. Wählen Sie bei leisen Quellen die Stellung
+20 dB, während Sie die Empfindlichkeit bei lauten Schallereig-
nissen auf 0 dB oder auf -10 dB absenken.
3) Anzeige für den Batteriestatus
Wenn Sie das Mikrofon einschalten, leuchtet diese LED kurz rot auf.
Sofern diese LED anschließend nicht erlischt, sondern weiterhin
rot leuchtet, geht die Kapazität der Batterie zur Neige.
Bitte tauschen Sie die Batterie in diesem Fall durch eine neue
Knopfzelle vom Typ CR 2036.
4) Batteriefach
Hier setzen Sie die im Lieferumfang enthaltene Batterie ein.
5) Blitzschuh-Adapter
Über diesen Montageadapter können Sie das Mikrofon auf jeder
geeigneten Kamera mit Blitzschuh installieren.
6) Audiokabel
Über das integrierte TRS-Kabel verbinden Sie das Mikrofon mit
dem Miniklinken-Audioeingang der Kamera.

Betriebsanleitung
Zur Inbetriebnahme öffnen Sie das Batteriefach und setzen die mitge-
lieferte Knopfzelle gemäß der im Batteriefach vorgegebenen Polarität
ein. Schließen Sie das Batteriefach dann wieder.
Montieren Sie das Mikrofon anschließend am Blitzschuh Ihrer Kamera,
indem Sie die Klemmschraube am Adapter lösen, das Mikrofon auf-
schieben und die Klemmschraube dann wieder fixieren, sodass das
Mikrofon fest an der Kamera montiert ist.
Nun schließen Sie das Mikrofon mit dem 3,5 mmTRS-Klinkenstecker am
Mikrofoneingang Ihrer Kamera an. Schalten Sie das Mikrofon über den
Netzschalter (1) ein und überprüfen Sie an der Kamera, ob die Emp-
findlichkeit des Mikrofons angepasst werden muss: Bringen Sie den
Schalter für die Empfindlichkeit (2) ggf. in die gewünschte Position.
Falls nötig, aktivieren Sie den Hochpassfilter (1) am Mikrofon, um tief-
frequente Störsignale unter 80 Hz mit 10 dB/Oktave abzusenken.
Wenn Sie die Aufnahme abgeschlossen haben, bringen Sie den Netz-
schalter (1) des Kamikaze PRO wieder in die Stellung OFF, um die Ka-
pazität der internen Batterie zu schonen.
Wechseln der Batterie
Die interne Batterie des Kamikaze PRO reicht für einen Betrieb von
bis zu 100 Stunden. Die aktuelle Kapazität wird über die LED auf der
Oberseite dargestellt: Wenn die LED nach dem Einschalten weiterhin
rot leuchtet, ist die Batteriekapazität erschöpft und die Batterie muss
ausgetauscht werden.
Gehen Sie dazu wie folgt vor:
1) Öffnen Sie Batteriefachabdeckung auf der Rückseite des
Kamikaze PRO.
2) Entnehmen Sie die Batterie und ersetzen Sie sie durch ein
Modell vom selben Typ (CR2032).
3) Schließen Sie das Batteriefach anschließend wieder.
Hinweise zum Betrieb und zur Lagerung
1) Das Mikrofon reagiert besonders empfindlich auf mechanische
Einwirkungen wie Schläge oder einen Sturz aus großer Höhe und
kann dadurch irreparabel beschädigt werden. Achten Sie daher
auf einen besonders sorgsamen Umgang und prüfen Sie immer
den Sitz auf dem Adapter der Kamera.
2) Lagern Sie das Mikrofon stets trocken und sauber. Um eine
Beeinträchtigung der Empfindlichkeit und Klangfarbe des
Mikrofons zu vermeiden, lagern Sie es in keinem Fall in Räumen
mit hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit oder in der Nähe eines starken mag-
netischen Feldes.
3) Schaltet Sie das Mikrofon nach dem Gebrauch aus, um die interne
Batterie zu schonen. Sofern die Batteriestatusanzeige eine geringe
Kapazität anzeigt, müssen Sie die interne Batterie möglichst bald
wechseln.
4) Entfernen Sie die Batterie aus dem Batteriefach, bevor Sie das
Mikrofon länger lagern, um ein Auslaufen der Batterie und eine
damit verbundene Beschädigung der Schaltkreise zu vermeiden.

Félicitations pour votre achat du microphone électrostatique stéréo
à électret Nowsonic Kamikaze PRO. Le Kamikaze PRO est principale-
ment destiné à l‘utilisation avec des caméras vidéo et appareils photo
reflex numériques, et grâce à son adaptateur intégré pour griffe de
caméra, il peut très facilement se monter sur les caméras prévues à cet
effet. La disposition en XY des deux capsules permet de capter les sons
en stéréo et de donner encore plus de profondeur et d‘authenticité à
vos enregistrements vidéo. Le bruit est particulièrement faible grâce
aux capsules haute sensibilité qui assurent une excellente intelligibi-
lité de la parole pour les interviews, podcasts, en Web TV et en exté-
rieur comme dans d‘autres applications. Avec la pile bouton interne,
l‘autonomie de fonctionnement peut atteindre 100 heures.

Commandes
1) Interrupteur d‘alimentation et filtre passe-haut
Basculez ce commutateur en position pour allumer le micro
phone, et en position OFF pour l‘éteindre et économiser la pile
bouton interne. Éteignez toujours le Kamikaze PRO quand vous ne
l‘utilisez pas. Réglez le commutateur en position pour atténuer
les signaux en dessous de 80 Hz avec une pente de 10 dB/octave
2) Sélecteur de sensibilité
Avec ce sélecteur, vous pouvez régler la sensibilité du pré-
ampli ficateur interne. Sélectionnez la position +20 dB pour les
sources douces, et réduisez la sensibilité à 0 dB ou -10 dB pour
les sons forts.
3) Affichage de charge de la pile
Lorsque vous allumez le microphone, cette LED s‘allume
brièvement en rouge. Si cette LED ne s‘éteint pas après, mais reste
allumée en rouge, cela indique que la charge de la pile est faible.
Veuillez alors remplacer la pile par une nouvelle pile bouton de
type CR 2032.
4) Compartiment de pile
Insérez ici la pile fournie.
5) Adaptateur pour griffe porte-accessoire
Avec cet adaptateur de montage, vous pouvez installer le micro
phone sur toute caméra disposant d‘une griffe porte-accessoire
adéquate.
6) Câble audio
Avec le câble mini-jack 3 points (TRS) intégré, connectez le micro
à l‘entrée audio mini-jack de la caméra.

Pour commencer, ouvrez le compartiment de la pile et insérez la pile
bouton fournie en respectant la polarité indiquée à l‘intérieur du
compartiment. Refermez le compartiment de la pile. Montez ensuite
le microphone sur la griffe de votre caméra, en desserrant la vis sur
l‘adaptateur, en poussant le micro en place et en resserrant la vis de
fixation afin que le micro soit bien maintenu sur la caméra.
Maintenant, raccordez le microphone à l‘entrée micro de votre caméra
avec la fiche mini-jack 3 points (TRS) de 3,5 mm. Allumez le micropho-
ne avec l‘interrupteur d‘alimentation (1) et vérifiez sur la caméra si la
sensibilité du microphone doit être changée : Réglez le cas échéant le
sélecteur de sensibilité (2) sur la position souhaitée.
Si nécessaire, activez le filtre passe-haut (1) sur le microphone , pour
réduire les bruits de basse fréquence en dessous de 80 Hz avec une
atténuation de 10 dB/octave.
Lorsque vous avez terminé l‘enregistrement, réglez l‘interrupteur
d‘alimentation (1) du Kamikaze PRO en position OFF pour économi-
ser la pile interne.
Changement de la pile
La pile interne du Kamikaze PRO offre une autonomie pouvant att-
eindre 100 heures. La charge actuelle est indiquée par la LED du des-
sus : si la LED reste allumée en rouge après la mise en service, c‘est que
la pile est épuisée et doit être remplacée.
Procédez comme suit:
1) Ouvrez le couvercle du compartiment de la pile au dos du
Kamikaze PRO.
2) Sortez la pile et remplacez-la par un modèle du même
type (CR2032).
3) Sortez la pile et remplacez-la par un modèle du même
type (CR2032).

peuvent entraîner des dommages irréparables. Par conséquent,

Introducción
¡Felicitaciones por la compra del micrófono estereofónico de con-
densador de electreto Nowsonic Kamikaze PRO! El Kamikaze PRO está
especialmente diseñado para su uso con cámaras de vídeo y DSLR, y
gracias a su adaptador de zapata para flash integrado se puede insta-
lar de manera sumamente sencilla en cámaras preparadas para ello.
La distribución XY de ambas cápsulas permite capturar los eventos
sonoros de modo estereofónico y de este modo le otorgan más aut-
enticidad y profundidad a sus tomas de vídeo. Las cápsulas altamente
sensibles proporcionan resultados particularmente poco ruidosos y
garantizan una mayor comprensión del discurso en entrevistas, pod-
casts, Web-TV y en tomas de exteriores u otras aplicaciones. La pila de
botón interna permite un funcionamiento de hasta 100 horas.

1) Coloque este interruptor en la posición para encender el micró
fono y en la posición OFF para apagar el micrófono y conservar
la carga de la pila de botón interna. Apague el Kamikaze PRO
siempre que no lo utilice. Coloque el interruptor en la posición
para atenuar con 10 dB/octava las señales por debajo de 80 Hz
2) Interruptor de sensibilidad
Este interruptor le permite ajustar la sensibilidad del
preamplificador interno. Si la fuente de sonido es muy baja
seleccione el ajuste +20 dB; por el contrario, la sensibilidad
debe reducirse a 0 dB o a -10 dB en caso de eventos
sonoros muy altos.
3) Indicador de estado de la pila
Cuando se enciende el micrófono, su LED se ilumina brevemente
en rojo. Si el LED no se apaga a continuación sino que continúa
encendido en rojo, esto indica que se está agotando la carga de
la pila. En este caso reemplácela por una nueva pila de botón
de tipo CR 2032.
4) Compartimiento de la pila
Aquí se debe colocar la pila incluida en el volumen de
suministro.
5) Adaptador de zapata para flash
Este adaptador de montaje permite instalar el micrófono en
cualquier cámara con zapata para flash.
6) Cable de audio
A través del cable TRS integrado se puede conectar el micrófono
a la toma de audio mini de la cámara.

Para la puesta en funcionamiento abra el compartimento para pila y
coloque la pila de botón suministrada teniendo en cuenta la polaridad
indicada en el compartimiento. Cierre nuevamente el compartimiento
para pila.
A continuación monte el micrófono en la zapata de flash de su cáma-
ra; para ello afloje el tornillo prisionero del adaptador, deslice el micró-
fono en posición y apriete nuevamente el tornillo prisionero para que
el micrófono quede firmemente montado en la cámara.
A continuación conecte el micrófono a la toma de conector TRS de 3,5
mm de la entrada de micrófono de su cámara. Encienda el micrófono
mediante el interruptor de alimentación (1) y compruebe en la cáma-
ra si es necesario ajustar la sensibilidad del micrófono: Según se requi-
era, coloque el interruptor de sensibilidad (2) en la posición deseada.
Si fuera necesario, active el filtro paso alto (1) en la cámara para reducir
con 10 dB/octava señales parásitas de baja frecuencia por debajo de
80 Hz. Una vez que haya finalizado la grabación, coloque el interrup-
tor de alimentación (1) del Kamikaze PRO nuevamente en la posición
OFF para conservar la carga de la batería interna.
Cambio de la pila
La pila interna de la Kamikaze PRO proporciona una capacidad de fun-
cionamiento de hasta 100 horas. El LED situado en la parte superior
indica la capacidad actual: Si el LED se mantiene iluminado en rojo
después del encendido, significa que se ha agotado la carga de la pila
y que ésta debe ser reemplazada.
Para ello, proceda de esta manera:
1) Abra la tapa del compartimiento para pila situado en la parte
trasera del Kamikaze PRO.
2) Quite la pila y reemplácela por una del mismo tipo (CR2032).
3) A continuación vuelva a cerrar el compartimiento para pila.
Indicaciones de funcionamiento y para su almacenaje
1) El micrófono reacciona de modo particularmente sensible ante
influjos mecánicos como golpes o una caída desde gran altura y
puede sufrir daños irreparables como consecuencia de ello. Por lo
tanto se debe manipular con especial atención y asegurarse de
que esté firmemente montado en el adaptador de la cámara.
2) Guarde siempre el micrófono en un lugar limpio y seco. Para evitar
una merma de la sensibilidad y la tonalidad del micrófono, no lo
almacene bajo ninguna circunstancia en espacios con alto
porcentaje de humedad ambiente o cerca de un campo
magnético de alta potencia.
3) Apague el micrófono después de utilizarlo para conservar la carga
de la pila interna. Cuando el indicador de estado de la pila señale
una carga reducida se deberá reemplazar la pila interna lo antes
posible.
4) Antes de almacenar el micrófono quite la pila de su compart
miento para evitar que se produzcan fugas y posibles daños en
los circuitos.

mikrofonu elektretowego Nowsonic Kamikaze PRO. Mikrofon Kamikaze
PRO przeznaczony jest głównie do użytku z kamerami video oraz
DSLR, a zintegrowana przejściówka do gorącej stopki pozwala
na wyjątkowo prostąinstalacjęna odpowiednio przystosowanych
kamerach. Dzięki ustawieniu XY obu membran możesz zapisywać
dźwięk w systemie stereo, nadając nagranemu materiałowi video jesz-

1) Ustaw przełącznik w tej pozycji , aby włączyćmikrofon, a w po-
zycji OFF, aby wyłącznik mikrofon i ograniczyćzużycie wewnętrznej
baterii. Wyłączaj mikrofon zawsze wtedy, gdy nie jest używany.
Ustaw przełącznik w tej pozycji , aby tłumićsygnały poniżej 80Hz
o 10dB na oktawę.
2) Przełącznik czułości
Za pomocątego przełącznika ustawićmożna czułość zintegro
wanego przedwzmacniacza. Przy cichych źródłach dźwięku należy
ustawić+20 dB, a przy głośnych 0 dB lub obniżyćdo -10 dB.
3) Wskaźnik statusu baterii
Po włączeniu mikrofonu dioda świeci przez chwilęna czerwono.
Jeśli dioda nie przestaje świecićczerwonym światłem, oznacza to,
że pojemność baterii chyli sięku końcowi. W takim wypadku
należy wymienićbaterięna nowąbateriętypu CR 2032.
4) Komora baterii

Poprzez ten adapter montażowy możliwe jest zainstalowanie
