4. Place kettle into the Cordless Kettle
Tipper.
Loop Velcro
strap through
kettle handle
and secure
It is always best to leave the kettle
permanently in the tipper. The kettle can be
filled by using an inexpensive lightweight
plastic measuring jug to take the water from
the sink to the kettle. This avoids carrying a
heavy kettle full of water from the sink.
Usually you will only need to put the amount
of water that you need into the kettle
(always make sure the element is covered).
But if the receiving vessel is tall (such as a
tall mug), or if the spout of your kettle is
particularly pronounced, it may be
necessary to put more water into the kettle
to compensate for the extra height. Please
note that due to varying designs of jug kettle
available, it may not be possible to fill some
designs of jug kettle to their normal
maximum level without causing spillage of
water when used in conjunction with
Cordless Kettle Tipper. To avoid any
potential spillage we recommend that the
jug kettle be filled no more than three
quarters full.
Removal
From time to time you may wish to remove
the kettle for cleaning and descaling, this is
done by simply unfastening the Velcro
strap.
Cleaning
Avoid using abrasive cleaners or strong
bleach which could spoil the smooth surface
of the tipper. If tea stains etc. do become a
problem it is usually possible to wipe clean
with antibacterial detergent or disinfectant
wipe.
Important
Always position your kettle tipper away from
sources of great heat. It will cope perfectly
well with the heat generated by your kettle
but maybe damaged by being left too close
to a hot plate or grill.
Put the cup or mug etc. that you wish to fill
in front of the spout against the “A” at the
front base of the frame. Pour from the kettle
by tipping it gently forwards.
