Intended Use
NuhearaTM IQbudsTM 2 PRO hearing aids are a pair of user-fitted wireless air conduction hearing aids
intended to amplify sound for use by individuals with perceived mild to moderate hearing impairment.
Indications For Use
The IQbuds 2 PRO hearing aid is intended to amplify sound for individuals 18 years of age or older
with perceived mild to moderate hearing impairment. It is adjusted by the user to meet the user’s
hearing needs. No pre-programming or hearing test is necessary. The device is intended for direct-to-
consumer sale and use without the assistance of a hearing care professional.
Important Safety and Health Information
It is very important to read this user manual and the safety, warnings, and regulatory information
thoroughly and completely. Follow safety instructions to avoid damage or injury.
This product may help you hear better if you:
•Struggle to follow conversations when others don’t, especially in noisy places.
•Have trouble understanding the TV.
This product may not be right for you if:
•You consistently experience feedback with the IQbuds 2 PRO hearing aid when you turn up
World Volume to a comfortable listening level after you have fit the hearing aids correctly
(see “Selecting the Best Ear Tip”and “Fitting the IQbuds 2 PRO hearing aid”) and have
followed the suggestions in the Troubleshooting section.
•You feel the hearing aid is not providing enough amplification even at the highest World
Volume setting.
A hearing health care professional may be able to help you select a different hearing aid solution to
meet your needs.
You should see a hearing health care professional prior to purchasing IQbuds 2 PRO if you:
•Have a visible deformity of the ear.
•Have a current ear infection or a history of active discharge from one or both ears within the
past 90 days.
•Have sudden or rapid progression of hearing loss within the past 90 days in one or both ears.
•Have acute or chronic dizziness, poor dexterity, poor vision, or significant dementia.
•Suspect that you have significant earwax accumulation or a foreign object in the ear canal.
Symptoms of significant earwax accumulation can include itching in your ear, a feeling of
fullness in your ear, and/or reduced hearing.
•Experience pain or discomfort in the ear.
•Have a noticeable difference in hearing between ears.
•Have sudden onset or rapid worsening of tinnitus (ringing in the ear) in one or both ears
within the past 90 days.
This product will not restore normal hearing and will not prevent or improve a hearing impairment
resulting from organic conditions. This product is designed to help you make greater use of your

6
remaining hearing ability. You should keep in mind that it can take time to become accustomed to
hearing new sounds.
For best results, practice using the hearing aids as much as possible. In most cases, infrequent use of
the hearing aids doesn’t permit you to attain full benefit from them.
It is good health practice for a person with hearing loss to have a medical evaluation by a licensed
physician (preferably a physician who specializes in diseases of the ear). Licensed physicians who
specialize in diseases of the ear are often referred to as otolaryngologists, otologists or
otorhinolaryngologists. The purpose of a medical evaluation is to ensure that all medically treatable
conditions that may affect hearing are identified and treated.
Special Needs
Users with special needs or those requiring auxiliary help, should contact their caregiver or healthcare
provider for additional assistance.

Charging the IQbuds 2 PRO Hearing Aids
The Charge Case stores and charges your IQbuds 2 PRO hearing aids when you
place them in it. It provides a convenient way to charge your IQbuds 2 PRO
hearing aids when out and about.
The Charge Case has an internal battery that can charge the hearing aids when they are in the Charge
Case.
To recharge the Charge Case internal battery, plug the Charge Case into a 5V USB power source that
meets the requirements detailed in ‘Charge Case Rated Voltage’. The internal battery needs to have
charge in order to charge the hearing aids.
To recharge the hearing aids, place them in the Left or Right socket in the Charge Case. The Charge
Case will supply power to the hearing aids to recharge the internal batteries.
Ensure only the Left hearing aid is charged in the left socket. Ensure only the Right hearing aid is
charged in the right socket. Do not attempt to charge the Left hearing aid in the Right Socket or the
Right hearing aid in the Left socket. Ensure the Hearings Aids are securely seated in the charging
sockets when recharging the hearing aids.
When charging the hearing aids and placing them in the Charge Case, align the gold contacts on the
hearing aid with the gold contacts in the Charge Case. Ensure the Charge Case door is closed during
charging.

16
Fitting the IQbuds 2 PRO Hearing Aid
Inserting Hearing Aids Into Your Ear
Ensure that the correct hearing aid is placed in each ear (look for
“L” and “R” indications on the interior of each earbud).
Insert hearing aids into the ear canal in
the vertical position with the Ear Tip
down and then twist them towards the
back of the head to achieve “lock” and
complete earbud seal.
Try gently pulling upwards on the top of your ear while inserting
the hearing aid to achieve a better seal. The hearing aid should
remain securely in the ear canal once properly fitted and feel
snug in your ear.
Warning: Make sure an Ear Tip is fitted to the hearing aid. Do
not attempt to insert the hearing aid into your ear without an Ear
Tip fitted.
Correct Physical Fit
For high quality bass and noise reduction the hearing aid needs to
form a good seal and should feel snug in your ear. Push the
hearing aids into your ears as you would an earplug. Note: A
good seal prevents high pitched feedback (whistling) caused by
sound leaking from the hearing aid speaker into the hearing aid
microphones. If you experience high pitched sounds (whistling or
feedback), try using a different Ear Tip.
Experiment With Different Size Ear Tips
What Ear Tips come with the Hearing Aids
The IQbuds 2 PRO hearing aid comes with 3 pairs of silicone
Ear Tips, plus 3 pairs of Memory Foam Ear Tips in small,
medium, and large sizes.
Selecting the Correct Ear Tip
Pick the largest size Ear Tip that fits comfortably in your ear and
forms the best seal. The Ear Tips should pull off the Sound Port
section of the hearing aids fairly easily. Hold the silicone or
memory foam and pull to remove.
Visit Nuheara’s YouTube channel at
https://www.youtube.com/nuheara to watch how to get the best
fit for your hearing aids.
Warning: Ear Tips should always be mounted correctly on the
hearing aid before being put into the ear canal. Do not attempt to

17
insert only the Ear Tips into your ears by themselves. Doing so may result in the Ear Tip becoming
lodged in your ear canal requiring medical attention. If you have any part of the hearing aid Ear Tip
stuck in your ear canal, seek immediate medical attention.
Fitting the Ear Tip to the Hearing Aid
There are two types of Ear Tip supplied with the IQbuds 2 PRO hearing aids: Silicone and Memory
Foam.
Silicone Ear Tips are easier to maintain, are more durable and allow for quicker insertion into the ear
canal.
Memory Foam Ear Tips expand and conform to the shape of your ear canal providing a secure and
snug fit.
It is up to your personal preference as to which Ear Tip is used with the hearing aid, however in
general the Memory Foam Ear Tips will block more noise when fitted properly.

18
Fitting a Silicone Ear Tip to the Hearing Aid
1. Line up the inner shape of the bottom of the ear tip with the Sound Port on the hearing aid
2. Press the Silicone Ear Tip onto the Sound Port.

19
3. The Ear Tip should be fully attached.

20
Fitting a Memory Foam Ear Tip to the Hearing Aid
1. Align the Memory Foam Ear Tip and the Sound Port of the hearing aid.
2. Press the Memory Foam Ear Tip onto the Sound Port.
3. The Memory Foam Ear Tip should be fully mounted on the Sound Port.
