Conseils pour obtenir les meilleures performances
L’implication du maître lors des premières utilisations du produit est un facteur essentiel pour obtenir les meilleurs résultats.
Ne laissez pas votre chien seul avec le collier tant qu’il ne s’y est pas habitué et tant que vous n’êtes pas sûr qu’il fonctionne correctement.
Surveillez attentivement votre animal pendant les premiers jours d’utilisation du collier.
Quand votre chien aboie, laissez agir le collier sans intervenir. Toute intervention de votre part pourrait être interprétée comme une
marque d’attention et par conséquent l’aboiement comme un moyen efficace d’obtenir votre attention. Dès que votre chien cesse
d’aboyer, félicitez-le (sans excès) par des caresses, des flatteries verbales ou des croquettes afin de l’encourager dans son bon
comportement.
Sachez que certains aboiements sont révélateurs d’un trouble du comportement. Le collier de régulation des aboiements vous permettra
de résoudre les problèmes occasionnés par les aboiements excessifs.

votre produit, lisez attentivement les explications de ce guide que vous conserverez pour toute
référence ultérieure.

- dévissez les 2 vis de la trappe à pile à l’aide d’un tournevis
- ôtez la trappe à pile
- insérez la pile lithium 3 volts CR 2450 en respectant la polarité indiquée sous le logement de
la pile (cf. Fig. 2)
- un bip sonore est émis indiquant la mise en place correcte de la pile. Si vous n’entendez
aucun bip après avoir inséré la pile, ôtez-la immédiatement de son logement en utilisant
l’aimant fourni (clé magnétique) ou en frappant d’un coup sec le collier dans le creux de votre
main. Vérifiez la polarité avant une nouvelle insertion. Si vous n’entendez toujours pas de bip,
vérifiez le fonctionnement par une mise en marche puis à l’arrêt.
- replacez la trappe à pile en prenant bien soin d’insérer en premier le petit ergot situé en bas
du couvercle (cf. Fig. 3)
- revissez modérément les 2 vis

- placez le passant sur la sangle
- passez l’extrémité libre de la sangle dans la boucle de fermeture

Mise en marche
Approchez pendant moins de 1 seconde la clé magnétique (aimant) du repère blanc situé sur
l’avant du collier.
1, 2 ou 3 bips courts (selon le mode sélectionné) indiquent la mise en service.
En usine, le collier est réglé sur le mode 3 (ultrasons + vibreur).
Mise à l’arrêt
Approchez pendant moins de 1 seconde la clé magnétique (aimant) du repère blanc situé sur
l’avant du collier.
1 bip long indique la mise hors service.
Changement de mode
En usine, le collier est réglé en mode 3 (ultrasons + vibreur).
Pour modifier le mode de fonctionnement du collier, il vous faut, au moment de la mise en
service, maintenir la clé magnétique en contact avec le repère blanc à l’avant du collier.
Un nombre de bips (de 1 à 3) est alors émis par le collier.
Les modes 1, 2, 3 défilent en boucle tant que la clé magnétique est proche du repère blanc.
Eloignez la clé magnétique lorsque le mode souhaité est atteint.
Le collier mémorise la configuration de votre choix.
Lors des mises en service suivantes, votre collier fonctionnera selon le dernier mode
sélectionné.

Réglage de la sensibilité de détection des aboiements
Le réglage de la sensibilité de détection des aboiements permet une détection sûre des
aboiements et facilite l’élimination des déclenchements intempestifs. La détection doit être
suffisamment sensible mais pas trop.
En usine, la sensibilité de détection des aboiements est réglée en position « sensibilité MAXI ».
Pour adapter la sensibilité de détection à la puissance d’aboiement de votre chien, vous devez
procéder de la façon suivante :
- dévissez les 2 vis de la trappe à pile à l’aide d’un tournevis
- ôtez la trappe à pile
- tournez délicatement la vis de réglage selon la sensibilité recherchée (cf. Fig. 5)
Attention : le système de réglage possède une butée au Mini et une butée au Maxi. Utilisez
le tournevis de réglage fourni et tournez délicatement sans forcer.
- replacez la trappe à pile en prenant bien soin d’insérer en premier le petit ergot situé en bas
du couvercle (cf. Fig. 3)
- revissez modérément les 2 vis
Usure et remplacement de la pile
NUM’AXES vous recommande d’utiliser des piles de même modèle et de même marque que
celle qui vous a été fournie lors de l’achat de votre produit.
Des piles d’autres marques pourraient ne pas fonctionner ou ne pas être totalement
compatibles avec votre produit.
Vous pouvez vous procurer les piles adéquates auprès de NUM’AXES ou de votre distributeur.
Lorsque la charge de la pile devient insuffisante, un signal sonore vous l’indique :
- lors de la mise en marche : succession de bips rapprochés + nombre de bips indiquant le mode
- lors de la mise à l’arrêt : succession de bips rapprochés
Quand un niveau de pile trop faible est atteint, le produit se met en sécurité, il est hors service.

La première pile, sollicitée plus souvent pendant la période d’apprentissage du chien, dure
parfois moins longtemps que les piles de rechange.
Remplacez la pile usagée en procédant de la façon suivante :
- dévissez les 2 vis de la trappe à pile à l’aide d’un tournevis
- ôtez la trappe à pile
- sortez la pile usagée du collier en utilisant l’aimant fourni (clé magnétique) ou en frappant
d’un coup sec le collier dans le creux de votre main
- insérez la pile neuve (cf. § Mise en place de la pile).
Changement du capteur
Deux capteurs de longueurs différentes sont livrés d’origine. La longueur du capteur doit être
suffisante pour faire un bon contact avec la peau du chien et que le collier fonctionne bien.
Si votre chien a des poils longs et que le capteur court monté en usine ne convient pas,
remplacez-le par le capteur long fourni avec les accessoires.
Ajustement du collier
La sangle doit être ajustée de façon à ce que le capteur soit bien en contact avec la peau du
chien afin d’assurer une bonne détection des aboiements.
- Si la sangle est trop lâche, le collier ne fonctionnera pas correctement. De plus, il risque de
bouger et les frottements répétés peuvent irriter la peau de votre chien.
- Si la sangle est trop serrée, le chien aura des difficultés à respirer.
Contrôle du bon fonctionnement de votre appareil
- mettez en marche votre produit (en mettant votre collier en mode 3, vous pourrez tester les
ultrasons et le vibreur)
- frottez lentement le capteur sur une surface légèrement rugueuse (modifiez la sensibilité de
détection si nécessaire)
- le collier émet des ultrasons et/ou vibre (en fonction du mode sélectionné)
NOTA : après 5 déclenchements consécutifs et rapprochés dans le temps, le collier se met
en sécurité. Il se met en pause pour une durée de 15 secondes environ, puis redémarre
normalement.

Précautions d’emploi
- Nous vous conseillons d’utiliser le collier sur un chien âgé d’au moins 6 mois.
- Avant la mise en place du collier, il est recommandé de faire examiner votre chien par un
vétérinaire afin de vérifier qu’il n’y a pas de contre-indications.
- Le collier est étanche aux ruissellements mais pas à l’immersion.
- Pour éviter des déclenchements intempestifs, nous déconseillons le port d’une médaille, d’un
collier métallique ou de tout autre collier quand votre chien porte son collier de régulation
des aboiements.
- Si vous n’utilisez pas le collier pendant une longue période, il est recommandé de retirer la
pile. Ne laissez jamais de pile usagée dans le collier.
- Ne laissez pas le collier à la portée des enfants.
Entretien
Evitez d’utiliser des liquides volatils tels que des solvants ou du benzine pour nettoyer votre
collier de régulation des aboiements. Utilisez simplement un linge doux, légèrement humidifié
avec de l’eau ou un détergent neutre. La sangle peut être lavée à la main avec de l’eau
savonneuse.
En cas de dysfonctionnement
Avant d’attribuer une panne à l’appareil, prenez soin de relire ce guide et assurez-vous que le
problème n’est pas dû à une pile faible ou que le capteur n’est pas trop serré.
Si le problème persiste, veuillez contacter le Service Après-Vente NUM’AXES au 02 38 63 64 40.
Avec l’aide de nos techniciens, de nombreux problèmes peuvent être résolus par téléphone.
Selon l’ampleur du dysfonctionnement, vous devrez peut-être retourner votre produit au
Service Après-Vente NUM’AXES afin qu’il soit réparé et testé.

Une somme forfaitaire de 25 F TTC sera facturée en cas de retour SAV non justifié (par exemple

Fitting the battery
- Remove the screws from the battery cover with a screwdriver.
- Remove the battery cover.
- Insert the 3 Volt CR 2450 lithium battery as indicated under the battery holder (See diagram 2).
- A beep sound is emitted indicating that the battery was properly inserted. If you do not hear any
beep sound after inserting the battery, immediately remove it from the battery holder by using
the supplied magnet (magnetic key) or by tapping briefly the case in the palm of your hand.
- Check the polarity before inserting the battery once again. If you still do not hear any beep
sound, check the operation by switching the collar On and Off.
- Put the battery cover back in place taking care to insert first the little pin at the bottom of the
battery cover (See diagram 3).
- Retighten moderately the 2 screws.

- attach the quick-snap buckle to the free edge of the strap

Switching On the collar
Briefly place (for less than 1 second) the magnetic key close to the white mark located in front
of the collar.
1, 2 or 3 short beep sounds are emitted (according to the chosen mode) and indicate that the
collar has been switched on.
In the factory, the collar’s mode is positioned on mode 3 (ultrasounds + vibrations).
Switching Off the collar
Briefly place (for less than 1 second) the magnetic key close to the white mark located in front
of the collar.
1 long beep sound indicates that the collar has been switched off.
Changing modes
In the factory, the collar’s mode is positioned on mode 3 (ultrasounds + vibrations).
To change the collar’s mode, when switching on the collar you need to approach and keep the
magnetic key in contact with the white mark.
A series of beep sounds is emitted (from 1 to 3 beeps) indicating the selected mode.
Keep the magnetic key in contact with the white mark to run through modes.
Remove the magnetic key when you have reached the mode you wish.
The collar will memorize your selected mode.
Next time you will switch on the collar, your collar will be turned on to the last mode you
previously selected.

Setting the barking detection sensitivity
Setting the barking detection sensitivity ensures detection of any barking but helps avoid
unnecessary detection. The detection, must therefore be sufficiently sensitive but not overly
sensitive. In factory, barking detection sensitivity is set on the maximum position (maximum
sensitivity).
To adapt the detection sensitivity to the barking strength of your dog, you should proceed as
follows:
- Remove the 2 screws from the battery cover with a screwdriver.
- Remove the battery cover.
- Carefully turn the setting screw according to the sensitivity you wish (See. Diagram 5)
Caution: the adjustment system has a stop for the minimum sensitivity and a stop for the
maximum sensitivity. Turn delicately and without forcing with the supplied screwdriver.
- Put the battery cover back in place taking care to insert first the little pin at the bottom of the
battery cover (See diagram 3).
- Retighten moderately the 2 screws.
Checking/ Replacing battery
NUM’AXES advises to use the same type and same brand of batteries as those supplied in your
new purchased product. Other brands of batteries may not operate, or may not be completely
compatible with your product.
You can purchase the suitable batteries from NUM’AXES or from your distributor.
When the battery is too weak for the operation of the product, beep sounds indicate it in 2 cases:
- When switching On the collar: a series of close beep sounds + number of beeps meant to
indicate the operating mode are emitted
- When switching Off the collar: a series of close beep sounds is emitted
When the battery is too weak, the product works under safety mode, which means that it is out
of use.
Due to greater use during your dog’s training, your first battery may not last as long as
replacement batteries.
Replace the old battery with a new one as follows:
- Remove the 2 screws from the battery cover using a screwdriver.
- Remove the battery cover.
- Knock out the dry battery by using the supplied magnet (magnetic key) or by tapping briefly
the case in the palm of your hand.
- Insert the new battery (See § Fitting the battery).
Changing the sensor
Two different length sensors are included in the package. The size should be long enough to
have proper contact with the dog’s skin, enabling the device to operate correctly.
If you have a long haired dog and the short sensor fitted to the collar in the factory is inadequate,
remove the short sensor and replace it with the long one supplied with the kit.
When changing the sensor, do not press on the threaded rod, it could damage the components
underneath. A moderate manual screwing is sufficient (do not use any key). If you screw the
sensor too much, bark detection is likely to be inefficient.
Fitting the collar
The strap should be adjusted so that the sensor comes right into contact with the dog’s skin in
order to ensure good barking detection.
- If the strap is too loose, the collar will not operate properly. Moreover, it might move around
the dog’s neck and repeated rubbing of the sensor on the skin can cause irritation.
- If the strap is too tight, the dog will have difficulties in breathing.

remove the short sensor and replace it with the long one supplied with the kit.
When changing the sensor, do not press on the threaded rod, it could damage the components
underneath. A moderate manual screwing is sufficient (do not use any key). If you screw the
sensor too much, bark detection is likely to be inefficient.
Fitting the collar
The strap should be adjusted so that the sensor comes right into contact with the dog’s skin in
order to ensure good barking detection.
- If the strap is too loose, the collar will not operate properly. Moreover, it might move around
the dog’s neck and repeated rubbing of the sensor on the skin can cause irritation.
- If the strap is too tight, the dog will have difficulties in breathing.

Checking the device operates correctly
- Switch on the collar (turn the collar on mode 3, thus you will be able to check the operation of
ultrasounds and vibrations).
- Slowly rub the sensor on a slightly rough surface (change the detection sensitivity if necessary).
- The collar will emit ultrasounds and/or vibrations (according to the chosen configuration).
IMPORTANT: after being activated 5 times in quick succession, the collar will automatically go
into safety mode for 15 seconds, before restarting itself normally.
Cautions for use
- The collar should be used on dogs only over 6 months old.
- Before using the collar, it is important to have your dog checked by your vet to ensure it is fit
to wear a bark limiter.
- The collar is weatherproof but not waterproof.
- To avoid unintentional triggering, the dog should not wear a medal, metallic collar, or any
other kind of collar together with the bark limiter collar.
- If you do not use the collar for a long period of time, we advise you to remove the battery. Never
leave a discharged battery in the collar.
- Keep the collar out of reach of children.
Maintenance
Do not use volatile liquids such as solvents or benzene to clean your bark limiter collar. Use a
soft cloth, slightly moistened with water or a neutral detergent. The nylon strap can be washed
with soapy water.

- Desenrosque los 2 tornillos de la tapa de la pila con un destornillador.
- Saque la tapa de la pila.
- Inserte la pila 3 V CR 2450 respetando la polaridad indicada bajo el alojamiento de la pila (cf.
Fig. 2)
- Una señal sonora le indicará la colocación correcta de la pila.
- Si no hubiera ninguna señal después de insertar la pila, retírela utilizando el imán
suministrado (llave magnética) o pegando la caja en la palma de su mano y colóquela
correctamente, teniendo en cuenta la polaridad de la pila.
- Si sigue sin oír la señal, verifique el funcionamiento con una puesta en servicio del collar y
después una parada.
- Coloque la tapa de la pila empezando por el gancho situado debajo de la tapa (cf. Fig. 3).
- Apriete ligeramente los 2 tornillos.
Colocar la correa
- Introduzca la correa a lo largo de la caja (cf. Fig. 4).
- Coloque la hebilla sobre la correa.
- Pase el extremo libre de la correa por el enganche de cierre.

Acerque durante menos de 1 segundo la llave magnética a la marca blanca situada en frente
del collar.
1, 2 o 3 señales sonoras cortas (según el modo seleccionado) indican la inicialización correcta
del collar.
Desde fábrica, el collar viene ajustado en el modo 3 (ultrasonidos + vibraciones).
Puesta fuera de servicio
Acerque durante menos de 1 segundo la llave magnética a la marca blanca situada en frente
del collar.
Una señal sonora larga indica la parada del collar.
Selección de modo
Desde fábrica, el collar viene ajustado en el modo 3 (ultrasonidos + vibraciones).
Para modificar el modo de funcionamiento del collar, mantenga la llave magnética en contacto
con la marca blanca, mientras lo enciende.
El collar emitirá varias señales sonoras (de 1 hasta 3).
Los modos 1, 2 y 3 se accionan mientras mantenga la llave magnética sobre la marca blanca.
Aleje la llave magnética cuando llegue al modo deseado.
El collar memoriza la configuración elegida.
A cada puesta en servicio, su collar funcionará según el último modo seleccionado.
