1 Important
Safety
The lightning ash
with arrowhead
symbol within
an equilateral triangle is
intended to alert the user to
the presence of un-isolated,

Keep these instructions for

Follow all instructions
for installation, use and
maintenance of the device.
To avoid tilt or drop, place
the device on a at and hard

Leave sufcient free space
around the device for
adequate ventilation.
Keep the device away from
moisture. Never expose the
device to rain, dripping or
splashing. If water penetrates
into the device, unplug the
power cord and contact your
dealer. Continuous use in
this case may result in re or

Make sure that the power
supply voltage is within the
range indicated on the label
on the device or power
adapter. If you are not sure
of the type of power supply,
consult you dealer or local
power company.
Do not defeat the safety
purpose of the polarized
or grounding-type plug. A
polarized plug has two blades
with one wider than the other.
A grounding type plug has two
blades and a third grounding
prong. The wide blade or the
third prong is provided for your
safety. If the provided plug does
not t into your outlet, consult
an electrician for replacement
of the obsolete outlet.
When connected to a power
outlet, power is always owing
into the device. To completely
disconnect power, unplug the
power cord.
When you unplug the power
cord, always hold the plug
instead of the cord.
Do not overload power
strips and extension cords.

This is a clock radio speaker
system that allows you to:
• Wake you up at a preset time,
with the built-in buzzer (AUX),
radio broadcast, or music from
your docked iPod/iPhone/
iPad.
• Dock and charge your iPod/
iPhone/iPad.
• Play music from your docked
iPod/iPhone/iPad.
• Play video from your docked

screen of a TV connected to

Unpack and identify the items
of your package.
• 1 x clock radio speaker

Connectpower
Connect the supplied power
adapter:
• round connector to the DC
in socket on the back of
the device
• power plug to the wall

1 Assemble the supplied AM
antenna.
2 Connect the AM antenna
to the socket on the back
of the device.
Turnonthedevice
Slide the Power on/off switch on
the back of the device to the
left.

Remove the protective tab on
the battery cover at the back
of the remote control.

1 Remove the battery cover.
2 Replace the old battery
with a new one (type:
CR2025) with the correct
polarity.
3 Mount the battery cover
securely.

Tips:
• The backup battery is used
for storage of the set clock
and alarm in cases of
power interruption.
• If no backup battery is
loaded or the battery is
used up, you need to set
the clock and alarm again.

1 Unscrew the battery cover
at the bottom of the de-
vice.
2 Replace the old battery
with a new one
(type: CR2025) with the
correct polarity.

1 Lift up the dock cover.
2 Connect your iPod/
iPhone/iPad to the dock
connector on the top of
the device.
+The clock time is synchro-
nized automatically from
your iPod/iPhone/iPad to
the device.
3 Adjust the angle of the
dock cover for optimal
support of your docked
iPod/iPhone/iPad.

You can also set the clock
and alarm at the same time
manually. Two wake-up timers
(alarm 1 and 2) are available,
which are helpful when you
and your family need to be
woken up at different time.
1 Press Source repeatedly to
select the time source.
2 Press Set to start setting.
+The hour digits start to ash.
3 Press / to adjust
the hour, then press Set to
conrm.
+The minute digits start to
ash.
4 Press / to adjust the
minute, then press Set to
conrm the clock setting.

• If you have selected dock
as the alarm source but
there is no iPod/iPhone/iPad
docked at the preset alarm
time, you will be woken
up with the built-in buzzer
instead automatically.

In time mode, press or
once to deactivate alarm 1 or
alarm 2.
+The corresponding alarm
icon disappears.
Toactivateasetalarmagain:
In time mode, press or
again to activate alarm 1 or
alarm 2.

Tips:
• When a set alarm rings, you
can press Snooze to turn off
the alarm for an interval of
nine minutes.
• When a set alarm rings, you
can press and hold Snooze
to stop alarm ringing. The
set alarm will ring again the
next day.
• If you have selected dock
as the alarm source, when
the corresponding alarm
rings, you can remove your
iPod, iPhone or iPad from
the dock to stop alarm
ringing. The set alarm will
ring again the next day.
• If a set alarm rings or
snoozes for more than half
an hour, the alarm will stop
ringing automatically and
ring again the next day.

step between 200 kHz (US)

power off and then power
on the device to activate
the setting.
• For optimal FM reception,
fully extend the xed FM
antenna at the back of the
device.
• For optimal AM reception,
adjust the direction and
location of the AM antenna.
