den haben. Der Oehlbach FM Tower 17 wurde entwickelt um einen scharfen und klaren
Empfang von FM und AM Signalen zu ermöglichen. Die Entwicklungsabteilung von
Oehlbach hat eine Antenne entworfen, die aktuelle Technologie mit außergewöhnlichem
Design verbindet. Der FM Tower 17 ist innerhalb von Minuten installiert und einfach zu
bedienen.
Radio-Empfangsgeräte und Receiver können verschiedene Anschlussmöglichkeiten
haben. Bitte finden Sie die richtige Verbindung und befolgen Sie den Anweisungen dieser
Bedienungsanleitung.

Ihr FM Tower 17 hat als Zuleitung eine Koaxial-Verbindung die auf 75 Ohm Wellenwider-
stand genormt ist, so dass Sie diese an alle gängigen Radiogeräte anschließen können.

Der FM Tower 17 benutzt ein zweiadriges Anschlusskabel für die Verbindung mit
dem AM-Eingang des Radiogerätes bzw. Receivers. Wenn der Anschluss Federkraft-
Klemmen besitzt, können Sie die beiden Adern direkt dort anschließen. Bei verschraubten
Anschlüssen können Sie die Adern um die Schrauben wickeln und dann festziehen.
Stromversorgung
Stecken Sie den Klinkenstecker des Netzteils in die dafür vorgesehene Buchse der Anten-
ne. Anschließend können Sie das Netzteil mit einer Steckdose verbinden.
Bitte beachten Sie: Wenn das Netzteil eingesteckt ist, wird die Antenne mit Strom
versorgt. Da das Netzteil aber sehr wenig Leistung hat, kann dies vernachlässigt werden.
Um die Netzspannung zu trennen, benutzen Sie bitte eine abschaltbare Steckdose.
Positionierung
1. Alle Arten von Antennen werden durch elektromagnetische Felder beeinflusst. Um die
beste Performance zu erreichen, sollten sie die Antenne mit ausreichend Abstand zu
Receivern, Tunern, CD/DVD-Playern, Fernsehgeräten und Computern platzieren.
Bitte beachten Sie: Antennen funktionieren am besten wenn CD-Player, Video-
recorder und Computer abgeschaltet sind.

2. Positionieren Sie die Antenne nicht in der Nähe von großen Metall-Objekten. Das
beste Ergebnis erzielen Sie, wenn die Antenne an einem Fenster platziert wird.
3. Es ist möglich, dass an manchen Orten in Ihrer Umgebung keine Radiosignale
empfangbar sind. Dies kann auch in Gebäuden der Fall sein, die mit Aluminium oder
Metall geschirmt sind. In diesem Fall sollten Sie versuchen die Antenne an ver-
schiedenen Orten zu positionieren bis der beste Empfang erzielt wird.
Regelbare Verstärkung
Auf der Vorderseite der Antenne befindet sich der Einstellknopf für die Antennenver-
stärkung. Mit diesem können Sie auf mechanische Weise die Verstärkung erhöhen oder
minimieren. Je weiter Sie von dem Sendeturm entfernt sind, desto größer sollten Sie die
Verstärkung wählen. Befinden Sie sich in der Nähe eines Sendeturms, sollten Sie die
Verstärkung verkleinern, da sonst Verzerrungen und Signalsättigung auftreten können.

1. Die Garantiezeit beginnt mit dem Kauf des Produktes und gilt nur für den Erstbesitzer.
2. Während der Garantiezeit beseitigen wir etwaige Mängel, die nachweislich auf
Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler beruhen, nach unserer Wahl durch Austausch
oder Nachbesserung der defekten Teile. Weitergehende Ansprüche, insbesondere
auf Minderung, Wandlung, Schadenersatz oder Folgeschäden sind ausgeschlossen.
Die Garantiezeit wird von einer Garantieleistung durch uns nicht berührt.

3. Am Produkt dürfen keine unsachgemäßen Eingriffe vorgenommen worden sein.
4. Bei Inanspruchnahme der Garantie wenden Sie sich bitte zunächst an Ihren Fach-
händler. Sollte es sich als notwendig erweisen, das Produkt an uns einzuschicken, so
sorgen Sie bitte dafür, dass
· das Produkt in einwandfreier Originalverpackung verschickt wird,
· die Kaufquittung beigefügt ist.
5. Von der Garantie ausgenommen sind:
· Leuchtmittel
· Verschleißteile
· Transportschäden, sichtbar oder unsichtbar (Reklamationen für solche Schäden
müssen umgehend bei der Transportfirma, Bahn oder Post eingereicht werden.)
· Kratzer in Metallteilen, Frontabdeckungen u.s.w. (Diese Defekte müssen
innerhalb von 5 Tagen nach Kauf direkt bei Ihrem Händler reklamiert werden.)
· Fehler, die durch fehlerhafte Aufstellung, falschen Anschluss, unsachgemäße
Bedienung (siehe Bedienungsanleitung), Beanspruchung oder äußere gewalt-
same Einwirkung entstanden sind.
· Unsachgemäß reparierte oder geänderte Geräte, die von anderer Seite als von uns
geöffnet wurden.
· Folgeschäden an fremden Geräten
· Kostenerstattung bei Schadensbehebung durch Dritte ohne unser vorheriges
Einverständnis.

FM Tower 17 has been developed to enable a sharp and clear reception of FM and AM
signals. The development department at Oehlbach has created an antenna that combines
state-of-the-art technology with exceptional design. The FM Tower 17 can be installed
within minutes and is easy to use.
Radio reception sets and receivers can have different connection options. Please find your
correct connection option and follow the instructions in this user manual.

Your FM Tower 17 is supplied with power via a coaxial connection that has a standard
75 ohm impedance level, which means it can be connected to all common radio devices.

The FM Tower 17 is connected to the AM input on your radio or receiver via a two-wire
connecting cable. If the connector features spring-loaded terminals, you can connect the
two wires directly. If you have screw connections, you can wrap the wires around the
screws and then tighten them in place.
Power supply
Insert the jack of the mains adapter into the designated socket on the antenna. You can
then connect the mains adapter to a power outlet.
Please note: When the mains adapter is plugged in, the antenna is supplied with electri-
city. As the mains adapter has very little output, however, this is negligible. To discon-
nect the mains voltage please use a switchable power outlet.
Positioning
1. All types of antenna are affected by electromagnetic fields. In order to achieve the best
possible reception you should position the antenna at a sufficient distance to receivers,
tuners, CD/DVD players, TVs and computers.
Please note: Antennas work best when CD players, VCRs and computers are
switched off.

2. Do not position the antenna in close proximity to large metal objects. The best results
are produced when the antenna is positioned near a window.
3. Some places in your surrounding area may not be able to receive any radio signals.This
may be the case for buildings that are shielded with aluminium or metal. In this case
you should try to position the antenna at different locations until the best reception is
achieved.
Adjustable gain
An adjusting knob is located on the front of the antenna for antenna gain. This enables
you to mechanically increase or reduce the level of gain. The further you are away from
the transmitter mast, the bigger the gain required. If you are located near a transmitter
mast, you should reduce the level of gain as this can cause distortion and signal saturation.

1. The warranty period starts with the purchase of the product and only applies to the
original owner.
2. During the warranty period we will rectify any defects that are due to faulty material
or workmanship by replacing or repairing the defective part at our discretion. Further
claims, and in particular those for price reduction, cancellation of sale, compensation
for damage or subsequent damage, are excluded. The warranty period is not affected
by any work we provide under the warranty.

prove necessary to return the product to us, please ensure that
· the product is sent in its original factory packaging in good condition,

5. The following are excluded from the warranty:
· Illuminants
· Wear parts
· Shipping damages, either readily apparent or concealed (claims for such dama-
ges must be lodged immediately with the shipping agent, the railway express
office or the post office).
· Scratches in metal components, front panels, etc. (You must notify your autho-
rised dealer directly of such defects within 5 days of purchase).
· Defects caused as a result of incorrect installation, faulty connection, improper
operation (see user manual), overloading or external force.
· Improperly repaired or modified devices that have been opened by a party other
than us.
· Subsequent damage to other devices
· Reimbursement of costs for repairing damage that has been caused by a third
party without our prior consent.

réception claire et précise des signaux FM et AM. Le service développement d’Oehlbach

Il suffit de quelques minutes pour installer la FM Tower 17, par ailleurs très simple
d’utilisation.
Les appareils de réception radio et les récepteurs peuvent présenter diverses possibilités

Votre FM Tower 17 est équipée d’un câble coaxial avec une impédance caractéristique de

Connexion AM
La FM Tower 17 utilise un câble à deux brins conducteurs pour la connexion à l’entrée AM
de l’appareil radio ou du récepteur. Si la connexion est équipée de broches à ressort, vous
pouvez y raccorder directement les deux brins. Si elle est équipée de raccords vissés, vous
pouvez enrouler les brins autour des vis, puis visser.
Alimentation électrique
Insérez la fiche jack de la prise secteur dans la douille appropriée de l’antenne. Vous
pouvez ensuite brancher la prise secteur.
Attention: une fois la prise secteur branchée, l’antenne est alimentée. La puissance de
la prise secteur est très faible, et même négligeable. Utilisez une prise de courant désac-
tivable pour couper l’alimentation secteur.
Positionnement
1. Tous les types d’antennes subissent l’influence des champs électromagnétiques. Pour
obtenir des performances optimales, vous devez placez l’antenne à une distance suffi-
sante des récepteurs, tuners, lecteurs de CD/DVD, téléviseurs et ordinateurs.
Attention: les antennes fonctionnent mieux lorsque les lecteurs de CD, magnéto-
scopes et ordinateurs sont hors tension.

2. Ne placez pas l’antenne à proximité de gros objets métalliques. Vous obtiendrez les
meilleurs résultats en plaçant l’antenne à côté d’une fenêtre.
3. Il est possible qu’aucun signal radio ne puisse être capté à certains endroits dans votre
environnement. Cela peut également être le cas dans des bâtiments équipés d’un blin-
dage en aluminium ou en métal. Essayez dans ce cas de placer l’antenne à différents
endroits jusqu’à ce que la réception soit de bonne qualité.
Amplification réglable
Le bouton de réglage de l’amplification de l’antenne est placé en façade. Il permet d’aug-
menter ou de réduire mécaniquement l’amplification. Plus vous êtes éloigné de l’antenne
émettrice, plus vous devez choisir une amplification importante. Si vous êtes proche d’une
antenne émettrice, vous devez réduire l’amplification pour éviter des distorsions et la satu-
ration des signaux.

· Rayures sur les pièces métalliques, les façades, etc. (ces défauts doivent faire
l’objet d’une réclamation auprès de votre revendeur dans les 5 jours suivant

· Défauts apparus suite à une mauvaise installation, une erreur de raccordement,
une utilisation incorrecte (voir le mode d’emploi), une pression ou un choc externe.
· Appareils réparés ou modifiés de manière incorrecte, ayant été ouverts par
un tiers.
· Dommages consécutifs sur d’autres appareils
· Remboursement en cas de réparation par des tiers sans notre accord préalable.

L’FM Tower 17 usa un cavo bipolare per il collegamento all’ingresso AM dell’apparecchio
radio o del ricevitore. Se l’ingresso è dotato di morsetti a molla, i due fili si possono
collegare direttamente a questi morsetti. In caso di morsetti a vite, occorre avvolgere i fili
attorno alle viti e poi stringerli.
Alimentazione elettrica
Introdurre il connettore jack dell’alimentatore nell’apposito connettore femmina dell’anten-
na. Collegare quindi l’alimentatore a una presa elettrica.
Nota bene: quando l’alimentatore è inserito, l’antenna è alimentata con energia elettrica.
Questo fatto è però trascurabile, visto che l’alimentatore ha una potenza molto bassa.
Per interrompere l’alimentazione elettrica si consiglia di usare una presa con interruttore.
Posizionamento
1. Tutti i tipi di antenne vengono influenzati dai campi elettromagnetici. Per ottenere la
massima performance, si raccomanda di rispettare una distanza sufficiente tra antenna
e ricevitori, tuner, lettori CD/DVD, televisori e computer.
Nota bene: le antenne funzionano meglio se i lettori CD, videoregistratori e computer
sono spenti.

2. Non posizionare l’antenna accanto a grandi oggetti metallici. Il risultato migliore si
ottiene collocando l’antenna vicino alla finestra.
3. Eventualmente in alcuni locali o punti non si riesce a ricevere i segnali radio. Questo
può succedere anche in edifici dotati di schermatura in alluminio o metallo. In tal caso
si consiglia di spostare l’antenna su diversi punti finché non si ottiene la ricezione
ottimale.
Amplificazione regolabile
Sul lato frontale dell’antenna si trova la manopola per l’amplificazione dell’antenna. Trami-
te questa manopola è possibile aumentare o diminuire meccanicamente l’amplificazione.
Più lontana è la stazione radiotrasmittente, più grande deve essere l’amplificazione. Se
invece ci si trova in vicinanza di una stazione radiotrasmittente conviene ridurre l’amplifi-
cazione in modo da evitare distorsioni e saturazione del segnale.

Qualora risultasse necessario rispedirci il prodotto, si prega di

5. Sono esclusi dalla garanzia:

· danni da trasporto, visibili o invisibili (i reclami riguardanti i danni di questo tipo
devono essere presentati immediatamente allo spedizioniere, alle ferrovie o alle
poste)
· graffi su componenti metallici, mascherine, ecc. (questi difetti devono essere
segnalati entro 5 giorni dall’acquisto direttamente presso il rivenditore)
· difetti causati da errori di installazione o di collegamento, uso non conforme (vedi
istruzioni per l’uso), sollecitazione o violenza esterna
· apparecchi riparati o modificati in modo inadeguato aperti da terzi
· danni indiretti subiti da altri apparecchi
· rimborso delle spese in caso di riparazione del danno da parte di terzi senza il

FM Tower 17 wykorzystuje dwużyłowy kabel przyłączeniowy do podłączenia z wejściem
AM odbiornika radiowego lub innych odbiorników. Jeżeli złącze wyposażone jest w zaciski
sprężynowe, można podłączyć do nich bezpośrednio dwie żyły. W przypadku przyłączy
śrubowych można owinąć żyły wokół śrub i wtedy je dokręcić.
Zasilanie
Umieścić wtyk typu jack zasilacza sieciowego w przewidziane gniazdo anteny. Następnie
podłączyć zasilacz sieciowy do gniazdka.
Należy pamiętać, antena zasilana jest prądem po podłączeniu zasilacza do sieci.
Ponieważ zasilacz jest niewielkiej mocy, można pominąć ten aspekt. Aby odłączać
napięcie sieciowe, korzystać z wyłączanego gniazda.
Miejsce ustawienia
1. Na anteny wszelkiego rodzaju oddziałują pola elektromagnetyczne. Aby uzyskać
najlepszą jakość pracy anteny, należy umieścić ją w wystarczającej odległości od
odbiorników, tunerów, odtwarzaczy CD/DVD, odbiorników telewizyjnych i komputerów.
Należy pamiętać o tym,że anteny funkcjonują najlepiej, gdy odtwarzacze CD, nagry-
warki wideo i komputery są wyłączone.

2. Nie umieszczać anteny w pobliżu dużych obiektów metalowych. Najlepsze efekty
uzyskiwane są po umieszczeniu anteny przy oknie.
3. Może się zdarzyć, że w niektórych miejscach w otoczeniu użytkownika nie można
odbierać sygnałów radiowych. Takie zjawisko może też występować w budynkach z
izolacją aluminiową lub metalową. W takiej sytuacji należy metodą prób i błędów
wybrać miejsce, w którym odbiór jest najlepszy.
Regulowane wzmocnienie
W przedniej części anteny znajduje się przycisk regulacji mocy anteny. Za jego pomocą
można w mechaniczny sposób zwiększać i zmniejszać moc anteny. Im większa odległość
od wieży nadawczej, tym większe należy wybrać wzmocnienie. Jeżeli lokalizacja znajduje
się w pobliżu wieży nadawczej, należy zmniejszyć wzmocnienie, w przeciwnym razie może
dojść do zakłóceń i nasycenia sygnału.
