1. Open the battery chamber by sliding the cover in
the direction of the arrow.
2. Insert two UM-3 (AA size) batteriesasshownin Fig.

When the batteriesbecomeweak.the LED indicator
becomesdim, and the unit stopsoperating. In this case,

batteries
with newones. The unit pro-

2 hours during battery replacement,
the display con-
tents on the rcD panel are maintained.
* If the batteriesarecompletelyexhausted,
it is possi-
ble that the display on the LCD panel will not be
maintained.

Connectthe AC adaptor to a householdcurrent wall
outlet, and connectthe plug to the powersource
jack
@ on the side of the unit.

which is not 3V, or has reversed
polarity.

l. Confirm that the unit is in the STOP mode.

the EJECT button @.
3. InsertaMICROCASSETTE with the tape-surface
up. (Fig. 3)
4. Gently press the cassettecompartment cover@ until
fully closed.
*Before inserting the cassette tapg make sure that
the tape is not slack. If the tape is slack, it can
sometimesbe cut or become wound around the

brand name provide maximum sound quality.

than 2 seconds
blinks the "timd' digits. (Fig. 4)
* Pleasenote that pressing

to the SET mode.
3. Pressing UP (A) button and DOWN (V) button
changesthe time display. Setthe current hour. Con-
tinuous pressing of UP (A) and DOWN (V) but-
tons for more than I second changes the display
continuously.
4. When the hour settingiscompleted,
press
the SET
button again.
5. In the samemanner,settheblinking minute digits,
and press
the SET button.
6. In the same
manner,set"Year" (Y), "Month" (M)

7. When the Month (M) is set,time settingis completg
and the clock starts.
+The display of Year(Y) can be setfrom '94 (1994)
to '19(2019).

memorized.

* It is suggestedthat test recordings be made at sever-
al volumelevels to assuretheoptimum activation level.
When the volume level reaches MAX. the unit
activateswith low sound level. At the minimum
VOLUME setting,the unit doesnot operate.

l. VergewissernSie sich, daß das Gerät sich in der
Betriebsart STOP befindet.
2. Drücken Sie die EJECT-Taste
@.
3. kgen Sieeine MICROCASSETTE soein, daß das
sichtbare Bandstück nach oben weist (Abb. 3)
4. Drücken Sieden Microcassettenfachdeckel @ sanft
nach unten, bis er vollständig geschlossen
ist.
* VergewissernSiesichvor dem Einlegen der Microcas-
sette,daß das Band gespanntist. Wenn das Band
locker ist, kann es geknickt werden oder sich um
die Bandantriebsrolle wickeln. Wir empfehlen
Microcassetten von Olympus zu verwenden.
II [6] Gebrauchder lCD-Anzeige
Die lCD-Anzeige @ zeigt, von oben nach unten, den
aktuellen Stand desBandzählwerks. das Datum und
die lstzeit.
3. Durch Drücken der Vorlauf-Täste ( ) - oder
Rücklauf-Taste (Y) wird die Uhrzeit eingestellt.
StellenSienun die gewünschte
Uhrzeit ein. Wird die
Vorlauf-Taste (A) - oder Rücklauf-Taste (V) länger
als I Sekundegedrückt gehalten, stellt sich die An-
zeige fortlaufend weiter.
4. Drücken Sienacherfolgter Einstellung der Stunden-
ziffern erneut die SET-Täste.
5. Stellen Sie nun genauso die blinkenden Minuten-
ziffern ein und drücken Sie die SET-Täste'
6. Stellen Sie nun noch die Datumsanzeige mit Jahr
(Y), Monat (M) und Thg (D) ein. (Abb. 5)
7. Nach der Einstellung desMonats (M) ist dieZeitein-
stellung beendet und die ls9eit wird angezeigt.
*Die Jahresanzeige
(Y) kann auchvon'94 (1994) auf
'19 (2019) gestellt werden.
tWird währenddesEinstellvorgangseineandere
Funk-
tionstaste gedrückt, wird der Inhalt bis zu diesem
Punkt gespeichert.
*Erfolgt während desEinstellvorgangs 3Minuten lang
keine Eingabe, wird der gerade eingestellte Inhalt
rückgängig gemacht.
