INTROD CTION
T e manual is meant for users, w o boug t t e equipment for professional purposes. It
includes all t e information, required for t e determination of t e model, about its
installation, operation and maintenance.
Read t e manual t oroug ly and make sure, t at all t e requirements are met. Also ensure
t e unit proper working conditions. Save t e manual even after you ave studied it
t oroug ly. Proper servicing, maintenance and constant reviews are essential for good
operation, a stable work effect and a long lifespan of t e equipment. T e buyer s ould also
take note of any intervention in t e compressor, t e oil consumption, regular and irregular
maintenance and s ould t oroug ly follow t e instructions of t e manual.
T e compressors are designed in accordance wit all safety standards provided by law. T e
following pages include all t e information and explanations, required for good operation
and maintenance. T e user s ould also take note, t at it is mandatory to respect t e
standards and regulations at all time, w ic includes t e testing, transport, installation,
operation, disassembly… Our personnel are available for any furt er information and
explanation. As t e manufacturer of t e equipment we decline any responsibility for
malfunctions, w ic mig t occur t roug improper interpretation of t e manual,
unprofessional installation or failure to comply wit valid standards and regulations by law.
EQ IPMENT PRESENTATION
T e AWS equipment is a compre ensive solution for gas stations. It includes a compressor, a
manometer for tire-inflation and water supply. T e components are assembled in a compact
ousing made of stainless steel. T e compressor is of a stable design. It is a coaxial piston
compressor wit a one p ase electro-motor. T e air is compressed in one p ase and after
t e pressure procedure it is directed in t e tank.
Our company only uses materials wit a ig durability, subjected to tests wit mec anical
and t ermal s ocks.
T e electro-motors are in accordance wit all t e valid standards and are made wit
isolation materials of t e class F. T e noise level is measured in accordance wit t e CAGI-
PNEUROP standards. Proper use of t e electro compressor gives a discontinuous work,
w ic can be estimated to 60% of t e real time. To ac ieve t ese conditions, we ave to
properly estimate t e demanded amount of air, desired pressure, t e number of users and
t eir continuity.

SAFETY INSTR CTIONS FOR THE WORKPLACE
T e AWS equipment was designed and made in accordance wit all mandatory safety and
ealt requirements by all valid EU directives.
ATTENTION!
The handling of the equipment can be dangerous if it is not used in
accordance with these instructions.
Eac person, participation in t e installation, start-up and maintenance of t e device, as to
read and understand t e full instruction of t e manual. T e AWS is meant exclusively for
inflating tires wit compressed air and water supply. Every use for ot er purposes or any
c ange on t e equipment is considered improper. In any suc case, t e manufacturer of t e
equipment declines all responsibility for any damage t at occurred as a result, instead all t e
responsibility goes to t e user. T e planned use of t e equipment includes using t e manual
t roug t e w ole lifecycle of t e mac ine (t at is including t e transport, installation…). All
t e work t at includes t e installation, t e start-up and maintenance is to be executed by
properly qualified personnel. W en working wit t e equipment, t e user is also obliged to
follow all t e local safety regulations and regulations for accident prevention, if any suc
exist.
LOCATION REQ IREMENTS
T e AWS equipment is not protected against explosions, and as suc it must not be installed
in a dangerous environment.
T e surface w ere t e equipment is supposed to stand as to be completely flat. T e
preparation of t e basis of t e equipment is described in t e attac ments on t e last page of
t is manual. All t e air and electricity installation is to be provided into t e ousing from t e
bottom.
We recommend t e use of a steel construction for t e basis (Contact t e manufacturer).
ATTENTION!
The installation and operating manual is to be saved close to the
equipment, always available to any personnel, responsible for the work
with the compressor.
MOVING AND CHECKING OF THE EQ IPMENT
T e compressor aggregate is integrated in a stainless steel- ousing and as suc , t e
equipment is designed to be set up outdoors. It is meant to be set on a fixed position wit
t e possibility to be moved wit a forklift. Pay attention to t e load t at may be carried by
t e ground or any ot er support surface, w ere t e compressor is supposed to be. When

the compressor is properly set, you have to attach it to the ground with bolts or screws
(note to detach the compressor before moving it with the forklift). Eac professional unit is
in accordance wit all t e valid standards and subjected to intern test procedures. But
c ecking t e equipment before transport cannot prevent any damage t at mig t appear
during it. For t is reason, t e equipment is to be t oroug ly c ecked before t e start-up, to
prevent any possible damage. Keep t e compressor under observation t e first working
ours to find any possible faults.
INSTALLATION AND CONNECTION
Preparing the place for installation and assembly

At t e basis, if t ere is a s aft a steel construction is advised (contact t e manufacturer). T e
preparation of an appropriate basis is s own in t e attac ment. W en setting up t e foot of
t e equipment, spacers are mandatory for t e connection of t e foot and t e basis.
Electric installation:
Supply cable wit 3×2.5 mm

wires, protected by 16 A type C circuit breakers. T e lengt of
t e cable is a minimum of 0.5m.
Condensate drain preparation:
For t e condensate drain, a 1/2˝galvanized pipe wit an inner t read ending is required. T e
condensate drain connects to t e drain on t e central reservoir.
Water supply preparation:

For t e water supply a galvanized pipe is required wit a 1/2˝ inner t read.
Grounding:
It is mandatory to properly ground t e equipment. T e grounding wire is mostly required to
be of a cross-section equal to t e sum of all supply wire cross-sections if t at is equal or less
t an 16mm
2
. If different regulations apply for your region, you are obligated to follow t ese.
T e AWS as to be operated outdoors or in a room wit sufficient ventilation, because t e
equipment emits a ig amount of eat w en turned on. T e working space needs proper
openings for cooling.
If a proper air supply cannot be guaranteed wit windows or ot er openings, ventilators are
required for forced ventilation. T e ventilators need to guarantee a 15-20% greater amount
of cooling air t at is needed for perfect cooling of all t e compressors.
ATTENTION!
The ventilation openings have to be set up in a way to avoid the intake of
dust, lacquer, gasses or other explosive mixtures. Do not set the
equipment up in a dusty place or close to gas drains. The AWS is designed to
work at temperature from -15 to +45 °C. If the equipment is subjected to
temperatures out of this rank, damage may occur on the aggregate.

Electrical connection
Only qualified personnel, is allowed to set up t e electrical connection. Prepare t e main
plug wit t e main switc and a proper fuse (or circuit-breaker) for t e electro connection of
t e equipment. Grounding is mandatory. Before t e start-up c eck all t e connections and
fix t em if necessary. Before you connect t e compressor to el. power, c eck if t e power
supply is compatible wit t e power requirement of t e system. If t at is not t e case, eavy
damage can occur, w ic may render t e warranty null and
void.
C eck t e system, if t e grounding is as required by
regulations. Connect t e compressor on t e power supply
and do not use any inappropriate extensions, w ic may
damage t e compressor. Do not do any repairing or c anges
and do not cut or damage t e cables. If t e cable for t e
energy supply is damaged, replace it wit a new one of t e
same type. Always attac t e grounding connections on t e
ousing as required.
Water connection
T e system as to be connected to a water supply wit a ose of at least 50cm in lengt . T e
ose needs to be of appropriate size and in accordance wit t e supply connector t e
connector on t e ousing.
Condensate drain connection
T e condensate drain connection to t e drain pipe goes by a flexible ose, at least 50cm of
lengt . T e ose as to be of appropriate dimension in accordance wit t e connector on
t e condensate drain and t e dimensions of t e pipe for t e drain.
Launch
Before activating the equipment, there are a few checks necessary (follow
thoroughly):
C eck t e oil level in t e compressor wit t e elp of t e oil indicator (picture 4)
T e red dot in t e middle marks t e ideal oil level (if t e oil level is inappropriate,
c eck t e maintenance)
C eck if t e condensate drain, located on t e bottom of t e filter (pressure vessel), is
closed (picture 5)
C eck if t e button on t e pressure switc is OFF – 0.

After t e c ecks, plug t e equipment in and turn it on by switc ing t e pressure switc to
ON – 1 (Wit t ree-p ased motors c eck also t e rotation of t e motor). To turn t e motor
off, just switc t e button on t e pressure switc to OFF – 0 (picture 6).

ATTENTION!
To improve the start-up of the compressor, a pressure switch is added,
with a release valve. The valve stays open until the inner pressure does
not reach about 1 bar. At this value the valve closes. This enables the motor to
immediately reach normal rotations and guarantees an optimal start-up even in
cold weather or tensions under the normal level.
To turn off t e compressor, always use t e button on t e pressure switc . If you pull out t e
plug, t e compressor ead will not release pressure, w ic mig t cause problems at t e next
start-up of t e equipment. T e compressor is ot erwise meant to work under low
temperatures, alt oug in suc cases it is required to monitor possible freezing of t e
condensate in t e system.
Compressor information
Wit eac contact wit t e manufacturer (ordering spare parts, service…) use t e
information, provided by t e label, attac ed to t e front site of t e documentation and t e
bottom of t e compressor aggregate. All ot er information about t e compressor you can
get in t is manual.

COMPRESSOR OPERATION
T e operation of t e compressor is directly controlled by t e pressure switc , w ic
immediately terminates t e energy supply w en t e pressure in t e tank reac es t e
determined value and connects again, w en t e pressure reac es a value, 2 bar bellow t e
maximum allowed pressure. T at special function is set-up in t e testing p ase and is
predetermined by t e client. All t e electric motors are equipped wit a safety system,
w ic terminates t e energy supply in case of an excessive electric surge.
ATTENTION!
A proper compressor use means an exchange procedure of about 60%
of the active time;
The compressor has a safety valve integrated, which is set up to
pressure, higher of the maximum working pressure of the pressure
switch. It activates in case of a fault on the pressure switch and opens an
exhaust for excess air;
The client may never set the compressor up in any way to exceed the
pressure, stated on the pressure vessel;
In the operation time and a few minutes after stopping do not touch any
wires, connectors, compressor parts, valve or other parts, which may be
subjected to excessive heat and avoid burns;
Pressure in the compressor
T e pressure is pre-set on a value, determined by t e client w en ordering. To c ange t at
value, contact our service team.
Compressor maintenance
ATTENTION!
Before and during any intervention follow the safety instructions.
Disconnect t e compressor from t e power supply, before any interventions on
moving or rotating parts;
Before any intervention or disassembly of pneumatic parts empty t e pressure tank
and void t e pressure of t e inner pneumatic circle wit t e ex aust valve.
Carefully unscrew t e ex aust valve to release t e air out of t e system slowly. C eck
if t ere is any air left in t e pneumatic circle wit t e elp of t e manometer.

Proper and regular maintenance of t e compressor is t e first step toward ensuring it
a long lifetime. To even improve t at, we ave created a table wit a summary of all
t e maintenance work and c ecking. Service ours in t e table represent t e
intervals of maintenance at w ic it s ould be carried out to keep a reliable
operation level. T e intervals may t oug c ange as a function of conditions in t e
operation area. For regular maintenance, properly qualified personnel are required.

Compressor access
To open t e equipment, follow t e steps in picture 7.

T e door gets closet following t e steps in t e opposite direction (put t e door on t e pins,
pus it to close, and lock t e lock).
Do not forget to connect the grounding!
ATTENTION!
When you disassemble the housing, it might get unstable. To avoid this,
the personnel disassembling it should be properly qualified!

Air intake filter
Eac mont t e intake filter s ould be c ecked for presence of dust.
If t ere is a ig amount of dust, clean it weekly. T e filter cartridge
is of a dry type. It is to be replaced about eac 500 working ours.
Damaged air intake filter as to be replaced wit a new one
immediately.
Oil exchange
T e first oil c ange is to be done wit in t e first 50 working
ours, to remove any residues left from prior treatments of
t e compressor ead. Furt er oil exc ange is to be carried
out at about every 500 working ours or at least once yearly.
Use ig quality oil for compressor eads, always available at
t e manufacturer.
Do not mix different oils.
Release t e oil t roug t e base of t e compressor unit as
s own in t e picture. After emptying, close t e drain and fill
in t e required amount of fres oil. After you c anged t e oil,
let t e compressor work for about 2 minutes, t en stop t e
motor and c eck t e oil level again. If necessary add more oil.
Recommended oil: SHELL CORENA P100
Condensate drain
T e condensate is drained automatically from t e pressure vessel t roug t e integrated
timed condensate drain. T e condensate from t e filter ousing is to be emptied after eac
working day t roug t e manual condensate drain, w ic can be found at t e bottom of t e
filter ousing.

Safety valve
T e mandatory safety c eck of reliability and t e setting of t e safety valve are to be carried
out once a year by aut orized personnel or by t e Omega air service team. About t e c ecks
and setting of t e safety valves, a record is to be lead.
Possible compressor faults

SER INTERFACE FOR TIRE INFLATION
ATTENTION!
The equipment is designed for inflating car tires and is not compatible
for inflating bicycle tires with regular valves. Ignoring this may cause the
bicycle tires to get overinflated.

Do not mix different oils!
If t e sealing on t e valve starts leaking, it as to be replaced.
Regularly c eck t e condensate separator if dirty or full wit condensate.
Except for t e mentioned, t e equipment does not need any additional
maintenance.

WHAT MAY VOID THE WARRANTY
T e warranty s all be void if:
T e installation and operating manual was not followed t oroug ly.
T e unit was not operated appropriately.
T e unit was operated w en it was clearly defective.
Non-original spare parts or replacement parts were used.
T e unit was not operated wit in t e permissible tec nical parameters.
Unaut orized constructional c anges were made to t e unit or if t e unit as
been opened/disassembled by an unaut orized person.
APPENDIX – BASIS PREPARATION
It is recommended to integrate a steel construction in t e basis (contact t e manufacturer
for furt er information). T is improves t e attac ment of t e ousing to t e ground. W en
attac ing t e ousing of t e AWS it is mandatory to use spacers wit t e bolts for t e basis
and ousing connection.±
