REPLACING YOUR REMOTE BATTERY
STEPS REMOTE PART# BATTERY (QTY)
1) Find the part # on the back of the remote to identify the battery.
2) Locate the relief in case near the key chain and separate the case halves to
access & replace the batteries.

FUNCTION BUTTON(S) REMOTE CONFIRMATION NOTE
Lock & Arm* Beep + LED flash The doors will lock.
Unlock & Disarm* Beep + LED flash The doors will unlock.
Silent Lock* x1 Single Beep The doors will lock with no audible confirmation.
Silent Unlock* x 2 Double Beep Perform within 1 second. The doors will unlock with no
audible confirmation.
Trunk/Hatch Release for 3 sec. Beep + LED flash Some systems may also unlock the doors.
Panic* or for 3 sec. Alarm Alert + All LEDs Flash The system will sound the horn/siren for Panic Mode.

Remote Valet Hold & for
3 sec + LED flash
This disables remote start and the security system. The status LED will turn on. Repeat this process or press valet
button once to exit valet mode.
Multi-Car Hold & for
3 sec
+ LED flash
1x =car 1/2x = car 2
The LED flash upon any button press will indicate current car setting. Repeat to return to car 1.
1 flash = car 1 / 2 flash = car 2
Button Lock Hold & for
3 sec & LED will flash 4x When button lock is on the remote will not transmit. When any button is pressed the correspnidng LED will flash rapidly
uopn button press.

FUNCTION BUTTON(S) CONFIRMATION NOTE
Engine Start/Stop x 2 Melody + LED flash Upon sucessful start, the remote will beep 4x and the Start LED will flash every 5 seconds during the programmed
runtime. Take Over*: Enter the vehicle and turn ignition key ‘ON’ then press the brake pedal.
Run Time Extender* Beep + LED flash The runtime will reset (only allowed once per remote start cycle).
Auto Start Mode* & Beep + & LED flash
1 beep for Auto Start Mode On / 2 beeps for Auto Start Mode Off.
Remote starts your vehicle every 2, 3, or 4 hours (programmable) or upon temperature threshold.
