Removetheexternal&internalpackaging.
Whenunpackingtheappliancepleasecheckforanydamage.Ifdamageisfound,donotconnecttothepowersourceand
contacttheAuthorisedServiceProvider.Checkthatthefollowingitemsarecontainedwithinthepackaging:

Beforeconnectingtheappliancetothepowersource,letitstanduprightforapproximately4hours.Thiswillreducethe
possibilityofamalfunctioninthecoolingsystemfromhandlingduringtransportation.Removeanyprotectivefilmfromthe
outersurface.
Cleantheinteriorsurfacewithlukewarmwaterusingasoftcloth.
INSTALLINGTHEREFRIGERATOR
Thisapplianceisdesignedtobefreestandingonly,andshouldnotberecessedorbuilt‐in.
Placeyourapplianceonasolid,levelfloorthatisstrongenoughtosupporttheappliancewhenitisfullyloaded.Usethe
adjustablefeetatthebottomoftheappliancetocompensateforanyunevennessofthefloor.
Allowatleast10cmofspacearoundthebackandsidesoftheappliance,whichallowstheproperaircirculation,andat
least20cmabovetheunit.
Locatetheapplianceawayfromdirectsunlightandsourcesofheat(stove,heater,radiator,etc.).Directsunlightmay
affecttheacryliccoatingandheatsourcesmayincreaseelectricalconsumption.Extremecoldambienttemperatures
mayalsocausetheappliancenottoperformproperly.Avoidlocatingtheapplianceinmoistareas.
Plugtheapplianceintoanexclusive,properlyinstalled‐groundedwalloutlet.Donotunderanycircumstancescutor
removethethird(ground)prongfromthepowercord.Anyquestionsconcerningpowerand/orgroundingshouldbe
directedtowardacertifiedelectricianoranAuthorisedServiceCentre.
Afterpluggingtheapplianceintoawalloutlet(220‐240V50Hz),allowtheunittocooldownfor2~3hoursbeforeplacing
foodinthefreezerandrefrigerationcompartments.
Ifmovingtheappliance,avoidtiltingtheappliancemorethan45°.Atnotimeshouldtheappliancebeturnedupside
down.
ADJUSTINGTHEDOOR
Thedoorcanbeadjustedtoopenfromeithertheleftor
righthandside.Followtheinstructionsbelow(thisis
structuredtotransferthedoorhingesfromtherighthand
sidetothelefthandside):
1. Removetheupperhingecover(6)andremovethe
upperhinge(5)byunscrewingthetwoscrews(1).
2. Liftthedoorawayandplaceinasafepositionwhere
itwon’tgetdamaged.
3. Removethelowerhinge(2)byunscrewingthetwo
screws(8).
4. Removetheleftleg(4)andfixittotherighthandside.
5. Removethescrewholecover(7)fromthetopleft
handsideandplaceitonthetoprighthandside.
6. Removethelowerhingepin(9)andreversethe
directionofthelowerhinge.Screwthelowerhinge(2)
backusingthetwoscrews(8)tothelowerlefthand
corner.Placethelowerhingepinbackintothelower
hinge.
7. Placethedoorbackontothelowerhingepin.Place
theupperhinge(5)pinintothetopofthedoor,even
thedooruptothetopoftheapplianceandfixthe
upperhingeinplaceusingthetwoscrews(1).Place
theupperhingecover(6)overtheupperhinge.

OPERATINGINSTRUCTIONS
Oncepluggedintothepowersupplyandturnedon,adjustthethermostatcontroltothecoldestsetting(7)and
allowtheappliancetorunfor2‐3hoursbeforeplacinganyfoodinside.Adjustthethermostattothecentralmark
(3‐4)andthenadjustupordowntosuitthefoodinside,theroomtemperature,introductionoflargeamountsof
warmfood,numberoftimesdoorisopenedetc.
Toturnoff,adjustthesettingto0.
Duringuse,moisturefromtheair&foodcancollectinsidetheapplianceformingalayerofice.Icewilllimitthe
transferofheatoutoftheappliance.Ifthisbecomesmorethan2mmthick,theapplianceshouldbedefrosted.
Turnthethermostatto0&removeanyfoodfromthefreezercompartmentandrefrigerator.Opentheouterdoor
&propopenthefreezercompartmentdoor.Allowtheicetomeltandletwatercollectinthetrayunderthe
freezercompartment.Discardanywaterandiceandreplacetray.Tospeeduptheprocess,abowlofwarmwater
(~50°C)canbeplacedinsidethecompartment.Donotscrapeicefromthecompartmentwalls&donotuseany
otherheatingdevices(asitisasafetyhazardandmaydamagetheappliance).

CLEANINGTHEAPPLIANCE
Uponinstallationofyournewappliance,itisrecommendedthatitbecleanedthoroughly,andcleanedonceamonthafter
that.
Tocleantheappliance,firstturnthethermostatto0,turnoffthepower,unplugfromthepowersocketandremoveall
foodandshelving.
Washtheinsidewithadampwarmclothcontainingawaterandbakingsodasolution.Thesolutionshouldbeabout2
tablespoonsofbakingsodatoaquartofwater.
Washtheshelvingwithamilddetergentsolution.
Besuretokeepthedoorgasket(seal)cleantokeeptheunitrunningefficiently.
Theoutsideoftheapplianceshouldbecleanedwithmilddetergentandwarmwater.
Drytheinteriorandexteriorwithasoftcloth.
Itisrecommendedthattheunitbecleanedeachtimeitisdefrostedtohelpkeeptheunitodourfreeandrunning
efficiently.
Donotuseoils,abrasivecleaners,petroleumproducts,acidsoralkalinedetergents,astheycandamagetheappliance.

Securelytapedownalllooseitemsinsidetheappliance.
Tapethedoorsshut.
Besuretheappliancestaysintheuprightpositionduringtransportation.
ENERGYSAVINGTIPS
Theapplianceshouldbelocatedinthecoolestareaoftheroom,awayfromheatproducingappliancesorheatingducts,
andoutofthedirectsunlight.
Lethotfoodscooltoroomtemperaturebeforeplacingintheappliance.Overloadingtheapplianceforcesthecompressor
torunlonger.Foodsthatcooorfreezetooslowlymaylosequality,orspoil.
Besuretowrapfoodsproperly,andwipecontainersdrybeforeplacingthemintheappliance.Thiscutsdownonfrost
build‐upinsidethefreezerandbadodours.
Thefreezercompartmentshouldnotbelinedwithaluminiumfoil,waxpaper,orpapertowels.Linersinterferewithcold
aircirculation,makingthefreezerlessefficient.
Organizeandlabelfoodtoreducedooropeningsandextendedsearches.Removeasmanyitemsasneededatonetime,
andclosethedoorassoonaspossible.
Whenaddingfreshfood,trytoaddittothebottomofthefreezer,surroundedbyfoodthatisalreadyfrozen.Afteradding
freshfoodtothefreezer,allow24hoursforittobefullyfrozenbeforeaddinganymorefreshfood.

IMPORTANT:Ifyourapplianceappearsnottobeoperatingcorrectly,turnofftheapplianceatthe
switchandthencontacttheServiceDepartment.
DONOTATTEMPTTOREPAIRTHEAPPLIANCEYOURSELF.
Theappliancemustbeaccessibleforaqualifiedpersontoperformanynecessaryrepair.
Toreplacetheglobe(220‐240VAC,10WE14),firstturntheapplianceoffandunplugfromthepowersource.
Removethedriptray.Pushtheclearcovertowardsthebackoftheapplianceandremove.Unscrewtheglobeand
replace.Alignthecoverwiththemountingandpullforwardtoclipinplace.Replacethedriptray.
