PREPARATI N BEF RE USE
Install your SIM Card (not supplied).
Warning: Do not distort or scratch the SIM card and keep it away from static,
dust or moisture. If it is lost, please immediately contact your network
operator for help.
Before SIM card installation, please switch off the mobile phone.
Remove the back of the phone, (there is a small recess on one side at the
bottom of the back where you can use a blunt instrument to help prise the
back off if necessary).
Remove the battery (if already in place) and install the SIM card as shown
below.
Note: Keep the SIM card away from children.
Install Memory Card (optional).
If using a memory card install as below. (This mobile phone uses a MICRO SD
card, maximum 500MB).
Install the memory card: Open the back cover to take out the battery, release
the memory card lock, insert the MICRO SD card into its slot, and restore the
lock and the battery before restarting the mobile phone.
Note: As the memory card is a small object, keep away from children.
BATTERY INSTRUCTI NS
Installing the Battery
The mobile phone is suitable for use with the original battery and accessories
only. When the phone is not going to be used for extended periods, please
remove the battery and keep it in a cool, clean, dry place.
Note: Carefully install the battery as shown to prevent damage.
Notices on using the battery
The performance of the battery is affected by many factors, including radio
barrier network settings, signal strength, work temperature, chosen and used
functions or settings as well as phone accessories, tones, data or other
applications.
For optimal performance, please follow the rules below:
• Charge new batteries or completely flat batteries for at least 12 hours.
During charging, keep the battery at room temperature or similar
temperature.
• Batteries may degrade over time. If call duration decreases but charging
time increases, you may need to buy another battery from the original
supplier.
WARNING! Do not throw the battery into fire as this may cause an
explosion.
When the battery charge is running low (as indicated by battery icon on the
top right of the screen) install the charger as shown. Do not let the battery
charge run too low.

The Easy Use Mobile Phone also comes with a desktop docking charger.
Connect the power cable to the port on the side, plug it in and the phone will
charge whilst in it.
WARNING! Only use chargers supplied by the original supplier, other
chargers may damage your phone. Always charge indoors in a dry place.
Using the USB
Always connect and remove the USB device carefully.
Never use Windows formatting commands to format the mobile disk of the
mobile phone as it could cause permanent damage.
The connection between PC and the mobile phone cannot be conducted
unless USB driver is installed.

To switch on your phone press the end key for 3 seconds, to turn off press
the same button until the picture on the screen disappears.
To answer a call, press the green call key.
To end a call, press the red end key.
To redial a call, press the call key and scroll down the call log until you find
the number you want to call.
To change the volume press the buttons on the left side of the phone during
a call.
Slide the button on the right of the phone to switch on the torch.
The default passcode for the phone is 1122. If you change this please
make a note of your new passcode as you will not be able to use some
features without it.

To manage contacts:
When you have created your contact list you will have various options:
Select the contact, press Options and scroll through the options as required
1 View – to view the details of your contact
2 Send text message – type your message, options, send to, check contact
is right, options, send
3 Call – to call your contact
4 Edit – to edit the name or telephone number
5 Delete – this will permanently delete this contact
6 Copy – to copy the details from the SIM card to the phone or vice versa
7 Send business card – this will send your number to one of your contacts
8 Mark several – this gives you option to send one text to several people at
the same time.
Select the first contact you want to send the text to:
Mark several,
Select, 1 send text message,
Scroll to contacts you want,
Options, 1 mark.
Do this for all of the contacts you want to send this message to.
Options, send text message.
Type your message, options,
Check you have selected the right contacts,
Options,
Send or edit the list.
9 Groups – you can create groups of friends, colleagues, committee members
etc. so you message all of these people at once.
Type a group name,
Type the name of your group,
Select, save.
You can view the members or delete them as you require.
10 Phonebook Settings –
1 Preferred Storage – you can choose whether you want to save
numbers to phone, SIM card or both. Both is recommended as you
are less likely to lose your numbers if your phone stops working.
2 Speed Dial – Speed dials are convenient for numbers you call
regularly but may lead to accidental dialling, if you hold a number for
too long.
1 status – you can set whether you have speed dials on or
off.
2 set numbers – the numbers 2 to 9 are listed with * and #.
Select an empty number, edit, select contact, OK.
To dial one of your speed dial contacts, from the main screen,
just press and hold the corresponding number on the keypad
for 3 seconds and it will dial the desired contact.
3 Human voice prompt – to turn the voice (that says the
numbers when you dial a number) on and off.
4 Memory Status – this shows how many contacts you have
got on your SIM card, phone and how many groups you have set
up.
5 Copy Contacts – copies all your contacts to either the
phone or SIM card.
6 Move Contacts – moves all your contacts to either the
phone or SIM card.
7 Delete All Contacts – this deletes all of your contacts from
the SIM card or phone and is useful if you no longer intend
using the phone. Warning! This is permanent and cannot be
undone.

CALL CENTRE
1 Call history
1 Missed calls – lists calls you have not answered.
2 Dialled calls – lists calls you have made.
3 Received calls – lists calls you have received.
4 Delete call logs – to delete call logs for different types of call or
all calls,
1 Dialled calls,
2 Missed calls,
3 Received calls,
4 All calls.
5 Call timers – shows the times for your last call, total dialled calls,
received calls.
2 Call settings
1 Call waiting – determines whether people that call whilst you are
on another call can wait for you to finish the call.
1 activate,
2 deactivate,
3 query status.
2 Call divert – these can be activated to divert the selected type of
call to another number or your voicemail
1 Divert all calls,
2 Divert if unreachable,
3 Divert if no answer,
4 Divert if busy,
5 Divert all data calls,
6 Cancel all diverts.
3 Call barring
1 utgoing calls – stops calls being made from your phone,
1 All voice calls,
2 International calls,
3 International calls except your home number.
2 Incoming calls – stops your phone receiving calls,
1 All voice calls,
2 Voice calls when roaming (abroad).
3 Cancel all – cancels the above.
4 Change barring password – the default password is
1122.
4 Advanced settings
1 Auto redial – if you press and hold the green call key it will
automatically redial the last number dialled and can be switched on
or off.
2 Call time reminder – a periodic beep to remind you how long you
have been on the phone.
3 Answer mode
Any key – you can answer the phone by pressing any button instead
of just the green call key.
Auto answer when in headset mode.
MESSAGING
1 Write message – type your message
The letters are available via the number keypad (e.g. press 3 once to
get d, twice for e, three times for f and four times for 3).
Pressing the # key will change the keypad from letters to numbers,
Pressing * will give you punctuation,
Pressing 0 will put a space between your words,
When you have finished your message;

Either enter the telephone number or select the contact from
your phonebook

3 Input method –
1 Abc – Your sentences will have capital letters at the start,
2 ABC – all text will be in capitals,
3 abc – all text will be in lower case,
4 Numeric – numbers only,
5 Save – saves your message to Drafts.
2 Inbox – the messages you receive will be stored here.
3 Drafts – Messages that you have started to type but not sent will be stored
here
4 utbox – Messages that you have sent but have not left your phone yet,
this can happen in areas with poor Network Connection. When the message
has gone it will move to the sent folder.
5 Sent messages – messages that you have sent
6 SMS settings
1 SIM
1 SMSC Address – shows your number.
2 Delivery report – this can be set to on or off, if on you
will receive a message each time you send a text and it has
been delivered.
3 Reply path – allows your text recipient to reply to you.
2 Memory status – shows how many messages are stored on
your phone and how many on the SIM card.
3 Save sent messages – Saves your sent messages or
automatically deletes them.
4 Preferred storage – saves your messages to the phone or
the SIM card.
7 Voicemail server – where your voicemails are saved.

MULTIMEDIA
Please note your phone does not contain a camera but if you have
inserted a flash card you can view photos and videos or listen to
audio files that have been saved on it.

5 Sound recorder – you can record voice messages.
6 FM radio – You can scan and save your favourite radio stations. The signal
strength will vary. Autoscan will pick up the strongest signals in your area.
SETTINGS
1 Phone settings
1 Time and date
1 Set home city – scroll through the list of cities to select
your time zone.
2 Set time – using the keypad, type in the time and press
save.
3 Set date – using the keypad, type in the date and press
save.
4 Set time format – choose between 12 and 24 hour clock.
5 Set date format – choose between DD MM YYYY; MM DD
YYYY and YYYY MM DD.
6 Set date separator – choose between: . : / -
7 Update with time zone – choose if you want to update
your phone automatically if you change time zones.
2 Schedule power on/ off - if you want to switch the phone on and
off at a certain time.

1 Status – Enable or disable,
2 Time – Set the time you want the phone to power on.

1 Status – Enable or disable,
2 Time – Set the time you want the phone to power off.
3 Language
This can be set for Automatic or English.
4 Display
1 Wallpaper – to set the image on the home screen;
1 System – choose between image 1 and 2,
2 User defined – you can choose one of your own
images if you have inserted a flash card.
2 Power on display – select the picture you want to
see when the phone is switched on.
3 Power off display – select the picture you want to see
when the phone is switched off.
4 Show date and time – select on or off to show the time
and date on your home screen.
5 Dedicated keys
1 Up – Edit, then select a function you regularly use. This will
then be reached as a short cut by pressing and holding the UP
key e.g. Calculator.
2 Down - Edit, then select a function you regularly use. This
will then be reached as a short cut by pressing and holding
the Down key e.g. Phone lock.
6 Flight mode – Use to switch between Normal and light mode. We
recommend that you turn your phone off during a flight.
7Misc. settings
1 LCD back light
1 Brightness – change the brightness by pressing the
up and down keys,
2 Time - change the time it is on for by pressing the up
and down keys.
2 Emergency settings
You have an emergency button on the back of your phone which if
pressed will call 5 people in order and send a text message to 5
selected contacts.
1 Emergency button on – turns the emergency button on and off.
2 Emergency contacts – Select the emergency contacts you want
contacted. You can select somebody from your contact list or
enter a new number.
ptions – select Emergency SMS content and type the message you
want to be sent out.
Select Send SMS config to test the message.
3 S S Volume – to turn the volume of the emergency sound up and
down.
4 User information – you can enter information about yourself.
5 Help – advice on how to use this function.
3 Network settings – this is set to Automatic and will automatically scan
for your network.
4 Security settings
1 SIM security – you will need the passcode from your Network
Supplier,
1 PIN lock – locks your SIM card so if you lose your phone
the SIM card cannot be used by anyone without the PIN.
2 Change PIN – change the default code to your own.
3 Change PIN2 – change the PIN for access to calling
features.
2 Phone security – This is to protect your phone so it cannot be
used by anyone that does not use your passcode. If you use
this lock, the passcode must be entered every
time you use the phone.
1 Phone lock – switch on or off,
2 Change password – the default passcode is 1122.
3 Auto keypad lock – This will lock the keyboard to prevent buttons
being accidentally pressed when the phone is being carried around.
You can choose between: Off, 5 secs, 30 secs, 1 min, 5 mins,
To unlock the keyboard, press the Unlock key and then #
5 Restore settings – This is to restore the phone to factory defaults and you
will lose any information that you have stored on the phone. Default
passcode 1122. Select Yes or No.

6Profiles
General – the default setting,
Activate – activates this profile,
Customize – choose between: Ring only, Vibrate only, Vibrate and
ring, Vibrate then ring,
Repeat, Beep once – choose whether you want your
ringtone to repeat or beep once,
Ring – change your ring tone from 1 of 10 presets or one
your own if you have installed a flash card,
Ringtone Volume – change the ringer volume using the Up/
Down buttons
Tone – change between 8 different tone sounds that will play
when you receive a text message,
Message Volume – change the message volume using the
Up/ Down buttons,
Keypad – change the sound when a button is pressed on the
keypad, choose between Human voice tone, silent, click, tone,
Keytone Volume - change the keypad volume using the Up/
Down buttons,
System Alert – Switches the Alert system on or off,
Intelligent call – Switches the Intelligent Call on or off,
Reset – change back to default settings,
Silent – Ringtones and alerts are silenced,
Activate,
Meeting – You can set the phone to beep or vibrate instead of ring,
Activate, Customize, Reset – as above.
utdoor – The phone will ring at a louder volume,
Activate, Customize, Reset – as above.
SERVICES
This enables you to go on the Internet. This will depend on the contract you
have with your Network Supplier. Please note downloading items or watching
videos can use a lot of data and can be very expensive.
ALARM
You can set 2 alarms:
To set the alarm: Edit,
1 Set On or Off,
2 Time – Enter the time you want the alarm to go off using the
numbers on the keypad,
Save,
3 Set tone – choose the sound you want your alarm to make,
4 Set Alert type – choose between ring only, vibrate only, vibrate
and ring,
5 Set snooze – set if want to allow a snooze function on the alarm,
6 Set frequency – set if you want the alarm to go off just once or
every day.
RGANIZER
1 Calendar
1 View – shows upcoming events you have saved,
2 View all – shows all events you have entered,
3 Add event – to add an event to your calendar,
1 Type – choose between Meeting, Course, Date, Call,
Anniversary, Reminder,
2 Start date – enter the date you require using the
keypad,
3 Start time – enter your alarm time using the
keypad,
4 End date – Enter the date you want the event to
finish,
5 End time – enter the time you want the event to
finish,
6 Subject – Type what you want to call the event. N.B.
The default is No content and you need to press the
Clear button to remove this,
7 Alarm – Select if you want a sound to play when the
event occurs,
8 Repeat – Choose if you want this event to happen
once, every day, weekly, monthly, yearly,
9 Location – You can enter details of where this event
will happen,
10 Details – You can add more details about the
event.
4 Delete event – select the events you want to delete
All – deletes all events,
verdue – deletes events that have already
happened,
Specific period – delete specific dates.
5 Jump to date – enter the date you want to find,
6 Go to today.
2 Tasks – You can set memos to appear on your screen
1 View,
2 Add,
1 Date – Enter the date you want the task to
happen.
2 Time – Enter the time you want the task to happen.
3 Subject – Type what you want the memo called.
4 Alarm – Select if you want the alarm to make a
sound.
5 Repeat – Choose if you want this event to happen
once, every day, weekly, monthly, yearly,
6 Priority – Choose if this memo is low, medium or
high priority,
7 Details - You can add more details to the memo,
8 Status – you can mark the memo as done when you
have completed your task.
3 Edit – change memos you have already set up.
4 Delete – delete an individual memo.
5 Delete overdue – delete memos that have already
happened.
6 Delete all – delete all memos.
7 Jump to date – look at a particular date.
8 View uncompleted – view all memos you have not
marked as completed.
3 Calculator – use your keypad to enter numbers and the Up/
Down keys to select + - x ÷ =

TR UBLESH TING
Problem Possible Causes
Unable to switch on 1. Is the battery charged?
2. Is the battery fitted correctly?
SIM failed 1. The SIM card is dirty. Clean it.
2. Reinstall the SIM card.
3. The SIM card is damaged. Replace it.
Poor signals Check the signal strength icon on the screen. If the icon contains 4 bars, it indicates the
signal is the strongest; if below 1 bar, it indicates the signal is very poor.
Unable to dial out 1.You may have set Hide My Caller ID but your network operator does not provide this
service for you.
2. Strong interference exists around you.
3. You may have activated the call restriction function.
4. You may have activated Line 2 but your network operator does not provide this
service for you.
Unable to charge the battery 1.The battery may be totally discharged, place in the charging cradle and wait for at least
two hours and check again.
2. The battery has been damaged, please contact your Supplier.
Unable to register to the network 1. Signals are too weak or strong interference.
2.Check the SIM card is installed properly. If the SIM card is broken, please contact the
network operator to replace it.
Unable to access service menus Some SIM cards may not support all service functions.
Only part of the photo set as standby photo can be seen The size of the photo may be too big. The recommended size is 220*176.

CLEANING INSTRUCTI NS
Always switch off and unplug before cleaning.
Do NOT immerse in water. Risk of electric shock.
Do not use liquid or a wet cloth with strong cleanser to clean the mobile
phone.
WARNING
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are
older than 8 years of age and supervised.
DISP SAL
Dispose of all paper, cartons and plastic in accordance with your local
recycling regulations. At the end of the product’s lifespan please dispose of it
at an authorised household waste recycling centre.
Battery disposal: spent or expired batteries must be recycled in compliance
with local regulations. or detailed information, contact your local authority.
Never dispose of batteries in a fire.

Remove the battery if left for long periods.
Store the unit in a cool, dry place.
BATTERIES
ollow the battery manufacturer’s safety, usage, and disposal instructions.
Keep batteries away from children and pets.
Do not mix used and new batteries.
Do not disassemble or short-circuit the battery.
Keep the battery’s metal contacts clean.
Recharge the battery after long periods of non-use to maximise battery life.
Battery life will vary due to usage patterns and environmental conditions.
The self-protection function of the battery cuts the power of the phone when
its operation is in an abnormal status. In this case, remove the battery from
the phone, reinsert it, and turn the phone on.
Charger and Adapter Safety – the charger and adapter are designed for
indoor use only and for this product only.
F R Y UR SAFETY
or your safety and the proper use of the mobile phone, please read the
following guidelines carefully:
Do not switch the mobile phone on when close to a petrol station or
explosive objects.
Do not use the mobile phone whilst driving.
Never use the mobile phone in an aircraft. Please switch off the mobile phone
before boarding.
Pay special attention to the use of the mobile phone near heart pacemakers,
hearing-aids and some other medical equipment as mobile phones can cause
interference.
Do not dismantle the mobile phone. In case of failure, please contact the
seller as soon as possible.
Do not plug the charger into the mobile phone and charge without battery.
Always power off the mobile phone when taking out the battery
When charging the mobile phone, always keep it in a place with good
ventilation, and away from flammable and explosive objects.
In order to avoid demagnetisation, always keep the mobile phone away from
magnetic objects such as CDs, credit cards etc.
Keep away from liquids. If the phone does get wet, remove the battery and
leave to dry completely.
Do not use at extreme temperatures either cold or hot, never expose the
mobile phone to strong sunshine or a wet environment. The suitable
temperature for the phone and accessories is 0ºC - 40ºC. The height to use
the phone shall be less than 2,000 metres.
Always keep the mobile phone out of children’s reach. Do not throw or
vibrate the mobile phone because violent treatment to the mobile phone may
damage the inner circuits and components.
Maintenance & Safety
Please read and observe the following information for safe and proper use of
your phone and to prevent damage. Also, keep the user guide in an accessible
place at all times after reading it.
General Notice
Talking on your phone for long periods of time may reduce call quality due to
heat generated during use.
When the phone is not used for a long period of time, store it in a safe place
with the power cord unplugged.
Using the phone in proximity to receiving equipment (i.e. TV or Radio) may
cause interference to the phone.
Do not immerse your phone in water.
The data saved in your phone might be deleted due to careless use, repair of
the phone, or upgrades of the software. Please backup your important phone
numbers. (Ring tones, text messages, voice messages, pictures, and videos
could also be deleted.) The manufacturer is not liable for damage due to the
loss of data.
Do not turn your phone on or off when the phone is close to your ear.
