This short manual contains important information about your baby
monitor and oers brief instructions on how to set up the baby
monitor and the app. For more detailed information, please visit
www.onnicare.com.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
Read this information carefully before you use the device.
DANGER
- Never immerse any part of the baby monitor in water or any
other liquid. Do not place the device where water or any other
liquid can drip or splash onto it. Never use the baby monitor in
moist places or close to water.
- Never put any object on top of the baby monitor and do not
cover it. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install according
to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Cords present a potential strangulation hazard. Keep cords out of

the reach of children (more than 1 metre away). Never place the
baby monitor inside or above the baby’s bed or playpen.
WARNING
- Check if the voltage indicated on the adapter corresponds to the
local mains voltage before you connect the device.
- Do not modify and/or cut and/or change any part of the adapter,
this causes a hazardous situation.
- Only use Onni Care recommended adapter.
- If the adapter is damaged, have it replaced with one of the
original type to avoid a hazard.
- Do not open the housing of the baby monitor to prevent an
electric shock.
- This device is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the device by a
person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the device.
- Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched
particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point
where they exit from the apparatus.
- Make sure that you install the baby monitor in such a way that its
cord does not obstruct a doorway or passage. Make sure the cord
does not lie on the floor where it presents a tripping hazard.
- Keep the packaging materials (plastic bags, cardboard buers,
etc.) out of the reach of children, as they are not a toy.
- Keep screws and small items out of the reach of the baby.
CAUTION
- Make sure the baby monitor and the cord are always out of reach
of the baby (at least 1 metre away).
- Use the device at a temperature between 10°C and 40°C.
- Do not mount the baby monitor on or above the baby’s bed or
playpen.
- Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers,
stoves or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
- Make sure that your hands are dry when you insert the device plug
into the device and the adapter into the wall socket.
- If you place the baby monitor on a table or low cabinet, do not let

the mains cord hang over the edge of the table or worktop. People
may trip over cords.

personally identifiable information you share with us through the
app. We also believe it is important to inform you about the use
of those data. Therefore, we encourage you to read the privacy

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Unplug the baby monitor before you clean it.
- Clean the baby monitor with a dry cloth.
- Do not use aggressive cleaners, scouring agents, petrol, acetone
etc. to clean the plastic housing of the device.
- Do not use cleaning spray or liquid cleaners.
REPLACEMENT
If the baby monitor is damaged, contact the local importer/
distributor in your country.
ADAPTER
Only replace the adapter of the baby monitor with the Onni Care
adapter of the original type. Visit the website of your local importer/
distributor, see chapter ‘Spare parts’.
WALL MOUNTING BRACKET
If necessary, you can order a spare wall mounting bracket for this

DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL THE APP
The Onni Baby app is available from App Store and Google Play.
REGISTRATION
Click Register in the Log in screen of Onni Baby app or at
onnibaby.com to create your account. Once registered, you will
receive an activation email. Please click the link in the email to
validate your account.
CREATE A NEW BABY PROFILE
If you register through your smartphone, you will be automatically
prompted to create a new baby profile. Otherwise to create a new
baby profile, first open the app in your phone and log in using the
Onni Baby account you’ve just created. When you log in to the
app for the first time, you will be prompted to add a new baby
profile.

You can take a picture of your baby or upload a picture from your
phone, or add a picture later. Add the baby’s name and other
information, and click “Save”. You can come back to this page at
any time from the ”My Babies” list.
SETTING UP THE MONITOR
Make sure you have your phone connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi
network before plugging in Astro.
Once plugged in, the signal light will start a sequence. When the
signal light is flashing green, go back to the app in your phone. (Log
in if needed.)
Press the “MONITOR” tab and Select “Set up Astro”.
Scan the QR code from the device using Onni Baby app.
If you want, you can edit the monitor name (for example: Baby’s
room). Select “Save” to proceed.
Enter your WLAN password. The default WLAN is the one you
have active on your phone. If you want to use another available
WLAN network, first connect your phone to that network and
then switch on the monitor, after it’s ready for new WLAN setup,
you will see flashing green signal light. Then go to “Monitor” tab in
your app and click “settings” link. That will open the WLAN setup
view to add WLAN password.
Click “Save”, and your new Astro will be connected to the baby
profile you’ve just created. Once Astro’s signal light turns flat
green, you can start monitoring.
NOTE: We recommend using WPA security types. WEP security
type doesn’t work with all routers, and if the SSID names contains
spaces (example: home router), the connection can fail.
If your router is set for enabling MAC addresses or auto channel
selection, you may experience some diculty in setting up Astro.
If that’s the case, disable MAC address filtering and try selecting
2.4 GHz band on your router and assign a fixed channel (11).

MONITOR PLACEMENT
Astro should be placed about one meter away from the child
and in a high place such as a shelve or mounted on the wall. You
can adjust the angle of the device manually.
USING ONNIBABY.COM
Use onnibaby.com to monitor a single baby or multiple children,
see their feeding and sleeping patterns and understand how
their development and growth compares with the World Health
Organisation stats.
On the portal, you can also access the video feed and add and edit
events and milestones. You can also share the milestones with your
friends and family on social media to keep them connected.
Managing the parents’ profiles and adding caretaker users (like
grandparents, who can then access Onni Baby features that you
choose to make available for them when it suits you best, including,
for example, the live video stream) can also be done on the
onnibaby.com portal. Any new caretaker must register their own
Onni Baby profile before they can be added to a child’s profile.

USING ONNI BABY APP
With the Onni Baby app, you can monitor your baby and log baby
events equally easily when you are at home or when you’re away.
At a press of a button you can add a diaper change, feeding and
sleeping details as well as watch high-quality video of your baby in
real time. You can also easily select which baby you are monitoring
and which camera you are using for each baby.
NOTE: We recommend you use WiFi when streaming. Operator
data costs may apply while using cellular network.
USING MULTIPLE MONITORS
You can change the active monitor on the app by following these steps:
• Go to My Babies listing.
• Tap “Edit” link for your baby; it opens the Edit baby profile
option.
• Now edit the first item on top; “Select monitor” – it will list all
available monitors and you can now select which one is set as
active for the baby.
• Now the selected monitor is used for your baby; for sound and
video.
• The number of monitors that can be connected is unlimited.

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSINFORMATIE

GEVAAR
- Dompel geen enkel deel van de babyfoon in water of een andere
vloeistof. Zet het apparaat niet ergens neer waar er water of
andere vloeistoen op kunnen druppen of spatten. Gebruik de
babyfoon nooit in een vochtige omgeving of nabij water.
- Plaats nooit objecten boven op de babyfoon en dek deze niet af.
Dek de ventilatieopeningen niet af. Plaats het systeem volgens de
instructies van de fabrikant.
- Snoeren kunnen verwurgingsgevaar opleveren. Houd daarom de
snoeren buiten het bereik van kinderen (meer dan 1 meter afstand).

Plaats de babyfoon nooit in of boven het bed of de box van de baby.
WAARSCHUWING
- Controleer of het voltage dat is aangegeven op de adapter over-
eenkomt met de plaatselijke netspanning voordat je het apparaat
aansluit.
- Breng geen veranderingen of wijzigingen aan de adapter of enig
deel ervan aan en snijd er niet in. Dit kan een gevaarlijke situatie
veroorzaken.
- Gebruik alleen de door Onni Care aangeraden adapter.
- Als de adapter beschadigd is, moet je deze laten vervangen door
een adapter van het oorspronkelijke type om gevaar te voorkomen.
- Open de behuizing van de babyfoon niet om een elektrische schok
te voorkomen.
- Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld voor gebruik door personen (waaron-
der kinderen) met verminderde lichamelijke, zintuiglijke of geeste-
lijke vermogens, of die gebrek aan ervaring of kennis hebben, tenzij
iemand die verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid, toezicht op hen
houdt of hun heeft uitgelegd hoe het apparaat dient te worden
gebruikt.
- Houd toezicht op jonge kinderen om te voorkomen dat ze met het
apparaat gaan spelen.
- Plaats het netsnoer zodanig dat niemand erop trapt en het niet
wordt afgeklemd, in het bijzonder bij stekkers, stopcontacten en
het punt waar het netsnoer uit het apparaat komt.
- Zorg ervoor dat je de babyfoon zo plaatst dat het netsnoer geen
doorgang blokkeert. Zorg ervoor dat het netsnoer niet op de grond
ligt waar men er over kan struikelen.
- Houd de verpakkingsmaterialen buiten het bereik van kinderen. De
verpakkingsmaterialen zijn geen speelgoed.
- Houd schroeven en kleine voorwerpen buiten het bereik van de baby.
LET OP
- Zorg dat de babyfoon en het snoer altijd buiten het bereik van de
baby blijven (ten minste 1 meter verwijderd).
- Gebruik het apparaat bij een temperatuur tussen 10°C en 40°C.
- Monteer de babyfoon niet aan of boven het bed of de box van
de baby.
- Niet installeren in de nabijheid van warmtebronnen zoals radiatoren,
warmeluchtroosters, kachels of andere apparaten (zoals versterkers)
die warmte produceren.

- Zorg ervoor dat uw handen droog zijn wanneer u het apparaatstek-
kertje in het apparaat, en de adapter in het stopcontact plaatst.
- Als u de babyfoon op een tafel of lage kast plaatst, laat het net-

REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD
- Koppel de babyfoon los voordat u deze gaat schoonmaken.
- Maak de babyfoon schoon met een droge doek.
- Gebruik geen agressieve schoonmaakmiddelen, schuurmiddelen,
petroleum, aceton enz. voor het schoonmaken van de plastic
behuizing van het apparaat.
- Gebruik geen reinigingsspray of vloeibare schoonmaakmiddelen.
VERVANGING
Als de babyfoon beschadigd is, neem dan contact op met de lokale
invoerder/distributeur in uw land.
ADAPTER
Vervang de adapter van de babyfoon alleen door een oorspronkelijke
Onni Care adapter. Bezoek de website van je lokale invoerder/distri-

DOWNLOAD EN INSTALLEER DE APP
De Onni Baby-app is verkrijgbaar in de App Store en via Google

REGISTRATIE
Druk in het inlogscherm van de Onni Baby-app of op onnibaby.
com op “Register” (Registreer) om je account aan te maken. Na
registratie ontvang je een activeringsemail. Klik op de link in de
e-mail om je account te bevestigen.
NIEUW PROFIEL VOOR BABY AANMAKEN
Als je de registratie via je smartphone uitvoert, dan word je auto-
matisch gevraagd om een nieuw babyprofiel aan te maken. Of je
opent, voor het aanmaken van een nieuw babyprofiel, eerst de
app op je telefoon, en log je in met het Onni Baby-account dat je
zojuist hebt aangemaakt. Wanneer je voor het eerst inlogt op de
app, dan word je gevraagd om een nieuw babyprofiel toe te voegen.

Vanaf je smartphone kan een foto van je baby worden geüpload.
Op een later tijdstip kan je ook een aeelding toevoegen. Voeg
de naam van de baby en andere informatie toe en druk op “Save”
(Opslaan). Je kan op elk gewenst moment terugkeren naar deze
pagina via de lijst “My Babies” (Mijn Baby’s).
INSTELLEN VAN DE BABYMONITOR
Voordat je de Astro aansluit, zorg dat je smartphone eerst op een
WiFi netwerk van 2,4 GHz is aangesloten.
Zodra je bent aangesloten, verandert de kleur van het signaal-
lampje. Keer terug naar de app op je smartphone zodra het
signaallampje groen knippert, en - indien nodig - log in.
Druk op het tabblad “Monitor” (Babymonitor) en selecteer “Setup
Astro” (Installeer Astro).
Scan de QR-code van het apparaat met behulp van de Onni
Baby-app.
Indien gewenst, dan kan de naam van de babymonitor worden
gewijzigd (bijvoorbeeld: babykamer). Selecteer “Save” (Opslaan)
om door te gaan.
Voer je WLAN-wachtwoord in. De standaard WLAN is de WLAN
die je op je smartphone gebruikt. Als je een ander beschikbaar
WLAN-netwerk wilt gebruiken, verbind je smartphone dan eerst
met dat netwerk, en zet nadien de babymonitor aan. Als deze
klaar is voor het instellen van een nieuwe WLAN-verbinding,
dan zie je een knipperend groen lichtje. Ga vervolgens naar het
tabblad “Monitor” (Babymonitor) in je app en klik aansluitend op
de link “Settings” (Instellingen). Hiermee open je de weergave
met WLAN-instellingen, waar je het WLAN-wachtwoord kan
toevoegen.
Selecteer “Save” (Opslaan) om je nieuwe Astro te koppelen
aan het babyprofiel dat je zojuist hebt aangemaakt. Zodra
het signaallampje van de Astro groen blijft, dan is de monitor
gebruiksklaar.

Opmerking: we raden aan om WPA-beveiligingstypes te
gebruiken. Het WEP-beveiligingstype werkt niet met alle routers,
en als SSID-namen spaties bevatten (voorbeeld: home router),
kunnen er problemen optreden met de verbinding.
Als je router is ingesteld om MAC-adressen of automatische
kanaalselectie te activeren, is het mogelijk dat je problemen
ondervindt bij het instellen van Astro. Als dat het geval is,
deactiveer dan de MAC-adresfilter en probeer de 2,4 GHz-
frequentie op je router te selecteren en een vast kanaal (11) toe te
wijzen.
PLAATSING VAN DE BABYMONITOR
De Astro moet in de hoogte op één meter van het kind worden
geplaatst, op een plank of aan de muur bevestigt. De hoek van het
toestel kan handmatig worden aangepast.
ONNIBABY.COM GEBRUIKEN
Gebruik onnibaby.com om op één of meerdere kinderen toezicht
te houden. Volg hun voedings- en slaappatronen, en zie hoe
ze zich ontwikkelen, vergeleken met de statistieken van de
Wereldgezondheidsorganisatie.

Via het portaal kan je ook de videofeed openen en gebeurtenissen
en mijlpalen toevoegen en bewerken. Je kan de mijlpalen ook
via sociale media delen met je vrienden en familie, en hen op de
hoogte houden.
Het beheer van de ouderprofielen en het toevoegen van nieuwe
gebruikers (bijv. grootouders, die dan toegang hebben tot de
functies op onnibaby.com waar je hen toegang toe geeft, zoals bijv.
de live videostream) kan ook gedaan worden via het onnibaby.com
portaal. Nieuwe gebruikers moeten hun eigen Onni Baby-profiel
registreren, voordat ze kunnen worden toegevoegd aan het profiel
van een kind. Deel je eigen profiel niet met anderen.
DE ONNI BABYAPP GEBRUIKEN
Met de Onni Baby-app kan je net zo gemakkelijk thuis
als onderweg toezicht houden op je baby en belangrijke
gebeurtenissen vastleggen. Met een druk op de knop kan je een
luierwissel of voedings- en slaapdetails toevoegen, of in real-
time een HD-video van je baby bekijken. Je kan ook gemakkelijk
selecteren op welke baby je toezicht wil houden en welke camera je
voor elke baby gebruikt.
Opmerking: we raden je aan voor het streamen gebruik te maken
van WiFi. Als je een mobiel netwerk gebruikt, dan kan je provider
hiervoor datakosten in rekening brengen.

MEERDERE BABYMONITORS GEBRUIKEN
Je kan de actieve babymonitor op de app als volgt wijzigen:
• Ga naar de lijst “My Babies” (Mijn Baby’s).
• Druk voor je baby op de link “Edit” (Bewerken); hiermee open
je de optie “Edit Baby Profile” (Babyprofiel bewerken).
• Wijzig nu het eerste item bovenaan; “Select monitor”
(Selecteer babymonitor) - dit geeft een lijst van alle beschikbare
babymonitors, en kan je de monitor selecteren die je voor de
