QUICK START GUIDE
Unpack the MonBaby 2 Smart Button, Wireless Charger,
USB cable.
Download the MonBaby application from the AppStore
(Apple devices) or Google Play (Android devices).
Plug the wireless charger into a USB compatible plug or the
USB port on your laptop or home computer.
Place the MonBaby 2 logo side up at the center of the
wireless charger. The number of times the LED blinks
indicates its power level.
3 blinks = Battery life is at about 25%
2 blinks = Battery life is at about 50%
1 blink = Battery life is at about 75%
No blinks = Battery is at full power
When the MonBaby battery level is at 100% remove it from
the wireless charging pad and place it on a at immobile
surface such as a table. Please make sure the Bluetooth
function is enabled on your smart phone or tablet.
Launch the MonBaby application and ll out the registration
information.
Tap ‘Connect’ at the connection screen and wait for the
application to scan your MonBaby. It should appear in
blue text and please tap connect. You can now name the
MonBaby device and than tap ‘Calibrate.’

connect to the button and is ideal for same room use and
works at a maximum of 40 ft or 12m)

Your MonBaby 2’s LED should ash several times as it
connects and calibrates to your smart device. The calibration
process memorizes the position of the button so please do
not touch or move it during this time. When it is nished it
will bring you to the main dashboard. From here you can tap
the image of the baby to upload or take a photo of your baby
to replace the stock image.
You can now tap any of the icons at the bottom of the screen
to access: main dashboard, graphs and history, nighttime
mode, alert settings, and general settings and information.
You are now ready to place the button on your baby’s
clothing and begin monitoring their activity! We recommend
placing it between their chest and lower belly. You may need
to place it in an area where their breathing movement is
most pronounced.

FOR WI-FI CONNECTION
(WI-FI Connection allows several smart phones to connect
to the button and is ideal for use anywhere in your home
as long as you receive a good wi- signal)
Unpack the MonBaby 2 Smart Button, MonBridge Base
Wireless Charger, USD cable, and 2.5A Power supply.
Download the MonBaby application from the AppStore
(Apple devices) or Google Play (Android devices).
Plug the wireless charger into a USB compatible plug or the
USB port on your laptop or home computer.
Place the MonBaby 2 logo side up at the center of the
wireless charger. The number of times the LED blinks
indicates its power level.

connected to your wi- router and that the Bluetooth

Plug the USB 2.5A Power Supply into a wall socket within
5-10 feet of where you plan to use the MonBaby 2. Attach
the cable to the back of the MonBridge base all the way to
the right under the “power” symbol, and place the MonBaby
2 next to it. You can bring the MonBridge to different parts of
your home, but for the best results we suggest always keeping
it within 5-10 feet of the MonBaby 2 while it is being used.

Please allow 1 to 2 minutes for the MonBridge base to
connect to the MonBaby 2 button (The base will connect to
the button automatically).
Launch the MonBaby application on your smart device. After
registering, please choose “Congure Wi-Fi.”
If your MonBaby button and MonBridge base are next to each
other and ready to setup please tap “Next.” The application
will now scan for the MonBridge base. Once it discovers it
please tap on the “Connect to MonBridge and Congure.” If
the application does not nd it via the scan please make sure
the Bluetooth is enabled on your smart device and try again.
Please choose the security protocol of your Wi-Fi router
(most routers use WPA2 which is the default setting), and
enter your wi SSID and password. Both elds are case
sensitive. Tap connect when nished.
The application will nish the setup and connection process
in a pop up window. When the text “WiFi connection OK”
appears please tap “Continue.” This should bring you back to
the connection screen. The “Congure WIFI” should have a
green check mark next to it.
You are now ready to connect to your MonBaby via
Wi-Fi. Tap “Connect” from the connection page and choose
“Connect via WIFI” in green type. Choose a name for the
button and allow it to calibrate and connect. You are now
ready to place the button on your baby’s clothing and begin
monitoring their activity! We recommend placing it between
their chest and lower belly. You may need to place it in an
area where their breathing movement is most pronounced.
If you move or purchase a new router you can reset the
MonBridge base by tapping the “Congure WIFI” button and
then tapping “MonBridge Congured.” This will now give you
the option to reset the connection and create a new one if
necessary.

We recommend that you keep the MonBaby 2 button and
the MonBridge base within 10 feet of each other for best results.
You can connect multiple phones to the same button
simultaneously and receive the data from the button.
Once the MonBridge/Monbaby button setup is complete other
smart devices in your household can download the application
and connect to the Wi-Fi signal.
The app features and layout described herein may be subject to
change as we continue to optimize the performance of
the application and develop new functionality for our users.

incorporated into the app.
IMPORTANT FOR iOS USERS: The MonBaby application
must be kept active on your screen or the connection
will be lost. If you hit the home button or use a different
application the MonBaby application will lose the signal.

USING THE APP
Once you have your MonBaby Smart Button
fastened and connected to the app, you can
use the app to monitor your baby’s sleeping
habits. You can see the details of the app
features below.
Please allow your device to calibrate on
a at immoble surface during the connection

If you close the calibration window, you will
exit the dashboard, and log off the device.
Calibration
For best results, place the MonBaby Smart Button near
the center of your child between the child’s chest and
abdomen, with the baby lying on his or her back on a rm
sleep surface.

Brightness
Change the screen brightness to a comfortable level
Alert Options
Breathing movement alert
This alert will activate if it does not detect any breathing
movement after 15 consecutive seconds
Temperature Alert
Double tap the description to change the reading from F to C, and
set the upper and lower temperature limits. The alert will activate
if the temperature exceeds the upper or lower limits
Orientation Alert
The Alert will activate if your baby rolls over onto his or her
stomach
Activity Alert/High Activity Alert
Alerts you if the baby wakes up or, in the case of high activity alert,
adjusts the sensitivity level of the application when this alert is
used on the baby who is active.
Proximity Alert
Alerts you if the MonBaby Smart Button (and your child) is out of
range of your smart phone device
Fall Detection Alert
Alerts you if the baby has fallen
Battery Alert
Alerts you if the MonBaby battery is running low (please recharge
the MonBaby 2 using the wireless charger)

FASTENING THE SMART BUTTON
REMOVING THE SMART BUTTON
SAFETY and other IMPORTANT NOTES
Place the MonBaby 2 snap ring on the inside of your baby’s
pajamas or onesie.
Align the MonBaby 2 Button on the outside of your baby’s
pajamas (logo side facing out) with the snap ring, and press it
into the enclosure so that it is fastened to the clothing.
To remove the MonBaby Smart Button, place your hand under
your baby’s pajamas and, using your index nger, push the smart
button out through the hole in the center of the Enclosure.
Be sure to have your other hand on the MonBaby Smart Button
to collect it after you push it out, and collect the snap ring.
Place the button inside the snap ring when not in use.
Your MonBaby product is a baby care aid, not a medical device,
and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any
disease, including Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).
Your MonBaby 2 product is not a substitute for responsible direct
supervision by parents and adult caregivers. Check on your baby
at regular intervals. Create a safe sleep environment for your
baby, get training in infant resuscitation and immediately call
the emergency assistance hotline in your area if your baby has
stopped breathing.

Parents and caregivers should consult their qualied medical
professional regarding sleep safety or SIDS risk reduction
guidelines and check the relevant government issued
recommendations in their area regarding this topic on an ongoing
basis. Common guidelines for infant sleep and SIDS reduction,
such as those issued by the American Academy of Pediatrics
available at www.aap.org, include, but are not limited to the list
below. Ensure to consult with your qualied medical professional
prior to following any of the listed guidelines.
Place your baby on his or her back for every sleep time.
Always use a rm sleep surface.
Your baby should sleep in the same room as you do, but not in
the same bed (room-sharing without bed-sharing).
Keep pillows, blankets, stuffed toys and other soft objects or
loose bedding out of your baby’s crib.
Choose a safe crib without drop-side rails and never use a crib
that has been recalled or that is broken or missing parts.
Offer a pacier at nap time and bedtime.
Avoid covering your baby’s head or overheating.
Keep your baby away from smokers and places where people
smoke.
Consult your pediatrician as he or she may recommend
variations from these guidelines based on your baby’s
individual circumstances.
CAREFULLY FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS
Failure to follow instructions will result in erroneous
MonBaby 2 operations and could affect connectivity or
accuracy of monitoring information.

Even though MonBaby can be placed anywhere and stores its
position, we recommend that the MonBaby be placed near the
center of the baby, between the baby’s chest and abdomen.
Although the MonBaby may work well at longer distances,
environmental factors such as dense wall material made out of
brick or metal or other devices in the home that may be
In case your MonBaby gets dirty, it can be cleaned carefully with a
damp cloth or paper towel. Do not forget to take off the MonBaby
before you throw dirty clothes in the washer.
MonDevices, Inc (“MonDevices”) warrants to the original
purchaser only that the MonBaby device you purchased
(the “Product”) shall be free from defects in materials and
workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year from
the date of retail purchase by the original purchaser

If a hardware defect arises and a valid claim is received by

its option and to the extent permitted by law, either (1) repair
the Product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement

not reasonable to replace the defective Product, MonDevices

apply except where prohibited by applicable law. This Limited
Warranty is valid only in the jurisdictions where the Products are
sold by MonDevices itself or through its authorized reseller or
agent, and is valid to the extent permitted by the applicable laws
of such jurisdictions. Any replacement hardware product will be
warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period or
thirty (30) days, whichever is longer, or for any additional period
of time that may be applicable in your jurisdiction.
2. How to Obtain Warranty Service:
To obtain warranty service, you must obtain a Return
Merchandise Authorization (RMA) from our customer service
team and deliver the Product, in either its original packaging or
packaging providing an equal degree of protection, together with
proof of purchase, to the address specied by MonDevices. You
agree to pay the cost of shipping the Product to MonDevices.
By sending the Product, you agree to transfer ownership
to MonDevices. If the claim is justied based on this limited
warranty, MonDevices shall bear the cost of shipping the
repaired or replacement Product to you. Any Product returned to
MonDevices without a valid warranty claim or without a
RMA may be rejected, returned at sender’s cost (subject to
prepayment) or kept for 30 days for sender’s pick-up and
then disposed of in MonDevices’ sole discretion. For specic
instructions on how to obtain warranty service on your Product,
visit the MonBaby website https://monbaby.com/support.
It is your responsibility to backup any data, software, or other
materials you may have stored or preserved on the Product.
It is likely that such data, software, or other materials will be
lost or reformatted during service, and MonDevices will not be
responsible for any such damage or loss.
3. Exclusions and Limitations:
This Limited Warranty applies only to the Product manufactured
by or for MonDevices that can be identied by the “MonBaby”
trademark, trade name, or logo afxed to it. The Limited Warranty
does not apply to any (a) MonDevices products and services

other than the Product, (b) consumables (such as batteries),
or (c) software, even if packaged or sold with the Product or
embedded in the Product. Please refer to the Terms of Service
that accompany the MonDevices mobile application for details of
your rights with respect to its use.
THE PRODUCT IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE; IS NOT
REGULATED OR APPROVED BY THE U.S. FOOD AND DRUG
ADMINISTRATION; AND IS NOT DESIGNED TO DETECT OR
PREVENT CAUSES OF SUDDEN INFANT DEATH SYNDROME
OR ANY OTHER MEDICAL CONDITION. THE PRODUCT
IS INTENDED TO BE USED WITH MONDEVICES’ MOBILE
APPLICATION TO HELP YOU MONITOR YOUR BODY DATA
AND IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR MEDICAL CARE OR ADULT
SUPERVISION.
MonDevices does not warrant that the operations of the
Product will be uninterrupted or error-free. MonDevices is not
responsible for damages arising from failure to follow instructions
relating to the Product’s use.
This warranty does not apply to a Product or part of a Product
that has been altered or modied (e.g., to alter functionality or
capability) by anyone who is not a representative of MonDevices.
In addition, this Limited Warranty does not apply to: (a) damage
caused by use with non-MonDevices products; (b) damage caused
by accident, abuse, misuse, spillage of food or liquid
or other external causes; (c) damage caused by operating the
Product outside the permitted or intended uses described by
MonDevices or with improper voltage or power supply; (d) use for
medical, healthcare or treatment purposes, or (e) damage caused
by service performed by anyone who is not a representative of
MonDevices. Recovery and reinstallation of software programs
and user data are not covered under this warranty. This warranty
is void if a Product is returned with removed, damaged or
tampered labels or any alterations (including the unauthorized
removal of any component or external cover).
No MonDevices reseller, agent, or employee is authorized to make

any modication, extension, or addition to this Limited Warranty.
If any term is held to be illegal or unenforceable, the legality or
enforceability of the remaining terms shall not be affected or
impaired.
4. Implied Warranties and Conditions:
EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW,
ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS (INCLUDING
WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY AND
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE) SHALL BE LIMITED IN
DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on the duration of an
implied warranty or condition, so the above limitation may not
apply to you. This warranty gives you specic legal rights, and you
may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
5. Limitation of Damages:
EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW,
MONDEVICES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL,
INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR ANY
LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE OR DATA, RESULTING FROM
ANY BREACH OF EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OR
CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN
IF MONDEVICES HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF
SUCH DAMAGES AND REGARDLESS OF THE FORM
OF ACTION WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING
NEGLIGENCE) OR ANY OTHER LEGAL OR EQUITABLE THEORY.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of
special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages, so the
above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
6. Governing Law:
This Limited Warranty shall be governed by the laws of the State
of New York, USA, without giving effect to any conict of laws
principles that may provide the application of the law of another
jurisdiction.

7. National Statutory Rights:
Consumers in some jurisdictions may have legal rights under
applicable national legislation governing the sale of consumer
goods, including, without limitation, national laws implementing
EC Directive 99/44. These rights are not affected by the
warranties in this Limited Warranty.
